The location was great. I was right across the street from Jardins Gamelin where there was music and people milling around every night. Half a block away from IGA where I could get everything I needed. Right in between St. Catherine and Rene-Levesque. Very comfortable room with kitchenette. Staff was very helpful.
Internet was alright. Could have been better.
Location, location, location. On a quiet side street in the heart of Montreal. 10 minute walk to the Vieux Port, adjacent to the Quartier Latin. Less than a block to the Metro and within easy walk to numerous excellent dining options. Hot breakfast included in the rate only further enhances the tremendous value represented by this hotel.
Rue Labelle is a very small street and difficult to locate on a map, if you are driving, i highly recommend printing directions in advance. It's also important to check your navigation software against reality as Labelle and many of the surrounding streets are one way.
towles - not clean
It has a reasonable price and it's located one block from St. Catherine Street and the central bus station. It comes with a microwave and refrigerator. No wifi but the desk will supply a cable.
The convenience to the Metro. The kitchenette in the room and the fact that all appliances worked well. I was on floor 5 and never had to wait too long for the elevator. The breakfast was better than anticipated. Eric was very helpful and patient with my many questions, all in English.
I opted for the use of the garage but will prefer to park in the lot across the street.
Loud AC, had to turn off for the night (it was pretty hot outside, over +30C)
