10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hangar House was recently taken over by Kaye and Gary now called the Burns' Hangar House on Facebook. It was a very nice surprise to see such an amazing modern house with an attached Aircraft Hangar with direct access to the runway. Awesome for those pilots out there to taxi right up to the house and relax. We were warmly welcomed by both Gary and Kaye and felt immediately at home. They are so accommodating and keen to ensure you enjoy your stay. The shared facilities were modern, comfortable and meticulously clean with the private guest rooms with ensuite equally modern, warm and inviting. The location is ideal as it is very close to Mudgee town, some of the best restaurants and all the major wineries. Plenty to see and do even if you are not a flyer (like us). We'll definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing just perfect
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by our host, Kay, and shown around the home. The home is located at the Mudgee airport and is designed along the lines of an aircraft hanger with a hanger that holds up to 4 small planes and the other half is the most cleverly and beautifully designed home we have seen. It is tastefully decorated with large rooms and living areas and very quiet compared to the other boutique styled B&Bs in town. The included breakfast consisted of choices in cereals and toasts. As the airport is about 3km from town, you will need to drive into town to get to the plentiful choices of restaurants and hotels for dinner. Likewise, if you plan to have a few drinks whilst out for dinner, Kay will drive you into town and you can get a taxi back to the B&B. We stayed two nights on this visit to Mudgee and liked the place very much and will stay there again on our next visit to the area to top up our wine cellar.
Cons: Nothing to say -all was fine for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing and unique experience. I dont think there is another property like this one. Very modern, clean, high ceilings, balcony with beautiful view, very close to town and literally across the road from the best vineyards and there is this massive hanger with couple of sleek aeroplanes off the lounge room. Mind blowing.Best weekend getaway.Feel very privileged and top quality hospitality. Thank u Kaye and Gary, very warm and welcoming hosts. Thank you for sharing your out of this world property. We cant wait to be back.

7.5 Good
Pros: no breakfast provided. comfortable room
Cons: a common lounge or sitting area would have been nice
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautiful. The people there are lovely. Comfy bed with luxurious pillows. There is plenty of nice places to dine that are walking distance.
Cons: The room doesn't have satellite TV, just free to air channels (small thing but we like to watch movies when we are away). The restaurant was closed for renovations. It would have been nice if we were notified before we booked. Hubby had planned on eating there for dinner. The people upstairs were noisy. Sounded like they were stomping their feet when they walked around. Parking is on the street.
7.5 Good
Pros: Food good. Staff friendly. Clean, comfortable room in an old coaching inn.
Cons: Evening meal waiting staff were amateurish and seemed to have received no training. The food was excellent. The restaurant was very cold (it was Winter so some heat would have been welcome).

Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely overnight stay in this boutique hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly, our suite had the authentic olde worlde look and feel and was beautifully appointed. Would recommend a visit.
Cons: We were disappointed the restaurant was closed on a Sunday night, however the receptionist was quick to suggest a number of alternatives and explain how to get to them. We walked back in the rain and then had to negotiate the outside stairs from the courtyard to our suite in the dark and wet which was difficult.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room with balcony access, didn’t realise this when I booked. This is our fourth time at this hotel and we’ve now stayed in 4 different rooms. The kitchen also made life easier, although we didn’t prepare meals it was nice to have the facility. The beds are also extremely comfortable and we love the rainfall shower.
Cons: The TV is a bit too high for comfortable viewing, but didn’t watch much and the fluorescent light in the bathroom is a little harsh for makeup application. We could also hear the TV from the apartment directly underneath us.
7.9 Good
Pros: Quieter end of town. Only a small amount of rooms which was lovely. Room was lovely with gorgeous features. Bed very comfy.

Pros: The host made us feel welcome before we’d even met. She accommodated our late arrival in a way that took all stress and anxiety about the late hour melt away. We loved it before we even arrived.
Cons: Seriously, nothing. The only suggestion i’d Make us a few more bits of info on where to go for what kind of meal; but that was only because we’d checked in late and hadn’t had the chance to chat to our host yet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage was private and set in a beautiful garden and only minutes from town centre. Cons: The slow combustion fireplace needed maintenance as the fibreglass door seal rope was defective, hence the fire could not be banked down effectively.

Pros: Good loaction , only a short walk into CBD
5.4 Okay
Cons: One bed was broken across the middle and made for an uncomfortable sleep, concidering the distance we travelled, the other bed like a cement floor ( have had a bit of pain between my hip and my knee from the broken bed) pillows were to hard. The sign on the reseption desk told us to go upstairs if no one was in reception so we did that and were ushered back down stairs. It felt like we should have not been there even though the sign told us to go. We felt like unwanted guests until the next day when we were leaving and were told we could go back if we were unable to get through the road closures.

6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: It was cold weather and only heating was the air conditioning which had a light that flashed continuously making sleeping difficult. Also facilities were not as advertised eg pleasant walks and frisbee golf
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very picturesque. Excellent facilities to keep the kids occupied. Room was extremely comfy with plenty of room. Love the old fashioned cuppa and bikkies
Cons: Nothing at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Free wine tasting
7.1 Good
Pros: Location for what we were there for
Cons: Renovation work looks a bit on the cheap side. Workmanship could be better. Grit on the entrance tiles to our room. Needs better coffee facilities in the room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location - close to main centre.
Cons: Really outdated, could do with a refurbishment. Aircon only blew hot air down and could not be adjusted and it was cold in the room. Food at the restaurant was average. Little bit overpriced for what it should be. Had the Chicken Kiev and it was very dry and the sweet potato mash had a strange taste, like it may have not been totally fresh. Rooms felt quite noisy also as it's an open balcony and people were waking around. Probably won't stay here again.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Check out service was very poor. To expensive for what we got. Dining in was to pricey to consider.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Rob, was extremely hospitable and personable, greeting us on our arrival and without intruding, shared his time with us at various times during our stay. His presentation of a truly outstanding breakfast (including warm poached pears on my cereal, fruit, yoghurt and perfectly cooked bacon and eggs) was a highlight! The guesthouse itself was ideally situated within a serene and wooded property outside of town and was well appointed, with a terrific wood fuelled heater in the living/TV? room. The sounds of native bird life in the early morning hours were idyllic.
Cons: Even though the property adcertised that there was "wifi available in the public area" unfortunately there was no signal anywhere inside the property (due to the thickness of the building walls) and even outside and all around the building. Phone reception (Vodafone) was also nonexistent. A pity, as all other aspects of our stay were excellent.
