Great location and resort, just booked it as a "hotel" and not to go through all the timeshare jazz, but it was amazing. Very worth the money.

Cons. Check in clerk was very slow. When I complained to a manager, It was blamed on the computer. I asked why there was only 2 clerks when I saw at least 6 “workers” standing around doing nothing. When it was my turn, she screamed NEXT! She handed me a folder ; never looked me in the eye and didn’t explain anything to me. She didnt even tell me my room number. No welcome or thank you’s, just get lost. The first night I came to the front desk looking for something I could drink from a vending machine. I went to 3 different floors and the other building and all the machines were sold out. They didn’t even have any bottled water at the front desk. They expect you to wear a plastic wrist band for security, but really an excuse to treat you crappier than the time share “owners”. Oh and hotel parking was across the street and a block away. The first night we got drenched in the rain. The lot next to the building is for “owners”. Horrible service. They kept trying to get you to go to their time share meeting. NO THANK YOU!

Pros. It was clean and a nice facility for the money I paid. Overall a nice place and good location.
Cons. I didn't like that for wifi for 7 days I had to pay 40 dollars and I could only use it one device at a time. That is ridiculous!! Also the walls were kind of this so I could constantly hear my neighbors. The outlets in the room were crappy so none of my devices would stay plugged in and sometimes they didn't work.
Pros. I liked the location and amenities at Westgate. The onsite restaurant/sports bar was great also. The location is right across from the amusement park on the beach. There is also a water park next to it also. Our room was nice and the staff was friendly.
Cons. The only thing I noticed that could be improved was having a laundry facility in each building instead of one. Being on the beach does lead to dirty clothes and there is only one building that you can wash. Not a big deal but room for improvement. Most Westgste properties have washer and dryers in the rooms. I think this would be a decent compromise.
