Pros: Incredible service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception/concierge staff were fantastic. So helpful, plenty of good advice and always extremely pleasant. The restaurant is very good, we enjoyed our anniversary dinner there and it is possibly the best ever hotel breakfast. The rooms are extremely well presented and comfortable and a great sized bathroom. The position is very convenient, close to the waterfront, ferries, buses, trains and shops and restaurants. Gamma Stan and the Royal Palace is just a short walk across the bridge and there are lovely parks at either end of the street. Just have to say everything was great, but it was the staff in particular that made our stay such a delight, with special thanks to Michelle. One last tip don’t miss the hotel’s rooftop bar - spectacular and a great place to refresh after a big day out, or for a nightcap.
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our 8 night stay in the first week of September was very pleasant. Location is very central and within walking distance of the most interesting sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in five different restaurants while in Stockholm and honestly feel that the hotel's own restaurant came out as our preferred one. One word of caution. Walking in the hotel corridors heading to or from one's room, care must be taken because the room doors open outward. Although probably a remote risk, but a risk nevertheless. As we were walking towards our room, a door was opened and the door handle caught my partner's arm and nearly knocked her over had I not held her. It could have been worse had it been her head. So careful, walk in the centre of the corridor. Otherwise Enjoy your stay.
Cons: The wardrobe space is very limited for two people staying longer than a 2/3 days.

Pros: The location is excellent. Staff are polite.

Hotel J - Nacka - Building
5
9.0 Excellent (1,962 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Not far from Stockholm, the Mecca of Scandinavian design, you’ll find Hotel J, a gateway to New England’s sea-faring splendors. On the water's edge at Nacka Strand, Hotel J is a short drive or a 15-minute sail away from Stockholm's city center, but blends the nautical intimacy of New England. The evocative red, white, and blue of the stars and stripes invite visitors from across the Atlantic to feel completely at home. But guests from anywhere will appreciate the cozy feel of whitewashed wood, cotton textiles, and solid oak furniture. In the lobby, fireside seats afford wide-angle views of the islands near Stockholm.
6.3 Good
Cons: This hotel was disappointing. Our room was the best part -- very spacious, with a lovely view. The second best part was that you could either walk (on a trafficky road) to get to a nature preserve, which offered nice jogs or walks, and that you could pick up a boat either into Stockholm, or farther out to the archipelago, within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Beyond that, I would've chosen another hotel. The breakfast was just fine, the restaurant was offsite and also just fine. The main reason I would choose another hotel was that the staff was untrained. When asking about a rack of kayaks and canoes that sit in front of the property, near the water's edge we first had to walk the front desk assistant outside to see the boats, only to be told he had no idea whose they were, or how to rent them, and maybe we could google it. This same experience was repeated when we tried to get information about other things, such as the spa that is supposed to be associated with the property, but couldn't seem to be contacted, or local restaurant choices or help with reservations, or the local boat schedule, or even getting housekeeping to come to our rooms with regularity. I did raise my concerns with the staff at checkout, and maybe will address them in future.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: brilliant breakfast...……..great location
Cons: The bath isn't level and bangs from side to side when you get in/out Why cant we have the nice white fluffy towels (like in the sauna) instead of those cheap horrible, scratchy purple ones The shower floods the rest of the bathroom after you use it causing wet feet any time you need the toilet in the next couple of hours cupboards don't fit/hinges missing tumbler glasses disappear never to be seen again no bottled water ,its probably just me but im a little uneasy about filling up kettles or drinking out of bathroom taps
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, big room (junior suite), great view on Stockholm, super breakfast and quiet place. By boat, you’re in 30 minutes in the center of Stockholm.
Cons: It has a private parking, but there was not always a free space for us. If that happens (and in our case, it happened) you have to go to a public parking at 500 meters. That was a big disappointment late in the evening. The bathroom was good, but it could use some new painting and sealant. For us, no problem but the room id not suitable for elder people. For example, to get in to the bath, some stairs would have helped.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view is nice and spacious when not on forest side. Beds are nice, bathroom is excellent! Breakfast very nice as well. Taking the paid ferry to Stockholm centre will take about 40 mins but is a nice journey itself
Cons: Free parking options are limited. Everything else was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Because we liked Hotel J so much we decided to stay for another night. I asked to extend for one night at the reception and it took 2 minutes and everything was settled. Very efficient service!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The setting of the hotel just beautiful . Very peaceful .
Cons: My internet in my room little slow
6.7 Good
Pros: Wonderful location and beautiful decor.
Cons: Prices high and room for a family small. Upgrade only available for part of our stay. During company and marriage events it was loud and hence couldn’t open windows...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location, facilities, staff & layout of the building.
Cons: Hardly any
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location
7.9 Good
Pros: We had a room on the top floor with a spacious balcony/terrass. Great view! Room was nice and had a high ceiling. Great bathroom.
Cons: Although the view from the hotel is stunning, the actual location is not so great. The hotel is cramped-in between big blocks of flats and an oil tank storage facility. No restaurants or shops within a 1 kilometer radius. Breakfast is in a separate building on the premises. We were there on a Sunday morning and is was total chaos. Not sufficient tables and not sufficient food. We ended up eating on a bench outside.
NOFO Hotel, BW Premier Collection - Stockholm - Building
6
9.0 Excellent (1,927 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Welcome to the NOFO Hotel, BW Premier Collection®! Find yourself in a beautiful and historic building from 1780 on Södermalm in the central parts of Stockholm. The hotel is within walking distance of Old Town, Slussen and the City. Stay in a vibrant neighborhood where people of Stockholm living. Sodermalm is one of the oldest districts in Stockholm and was a long time working quarters with much feeling. For many years known as the area where we are located "Sofo", Stockholm's answer to London and New York's trendy SoHo. Amidst this vibrant neighborhood, you will find our oasis. Enter through a portal, out on a cobbled yard and you'll find us. We are housed in a listed building from the 1700s that originally built as a brewery. As the house was built at one time, with a roof and walls according to original drawings, has been completely control the hotel room disposition and layout. This allows the hotel to get a personal and original touch that along with the eclectic decor boutique reinforces the feeling. Upon arrival at the typical courtyard, which can be likened to an oasis in the middle of Sodermalm, enriched it with an inner calm. You feel far from the trendy areas, both north and south of Folkungagatan, where hipsters, taverns and street life plays out like a true "reality soap". We look forward to seeing you! Enjoy your stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, helpful stagf
7.5 Good
Pros: The view from the room was great. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the whole atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. The courtyard and balcony seating was a great bonus. Location wise it was really close to plenty of places to eat and shop and also to transport links.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn’t like except having to leave.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I love the location; it is even closer to the old town than the hotel we stayed previously (in Nordmalm). Around the hotel is the Katarina Kyrka ground--so beautifully maintained and so serene--and residential areas that we can wander and discover many lovely features, including wandering onto the Katarinahissen for a high up view of the city of Stockholm at dusk/night.
Cons: The room was a little tight for two, but since we were out sightseeing during the day, it was Okay.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Decorated tastefully. Nice terasse. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Room cleaning was done in a very very minimum way (no toilet paper refill, bed made quite partially), very far from the 4 stars hotel we have been to. Room are noisy (e.g. noise of doors slamming and bottles thrown away) and not always clean (dust and hair found in towels). Staffs were not welcoming and not pro-active in proposing help. Overall a very disappointing experience. Not worth the price (250 euros / night).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the attention to detail, decor and the best breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and made everything super easy. Great neighborhood and value for money. Would highly recommend!
Cons: The maid services could be improved. Our room wasn’t cleaned the first day and not until 5pm on the second
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a stylish hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good and complete breakfast, attentive staff and good location.
Cons: Chair in the bedroom was itchy (it gave me a skin rash). I ordered a pizza which was so hot that it burnt my mouth. My tongue was sore for three days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great quiet place I had room with skylight it was awesome
Cons: My room it was Brooklyn style
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, great food, amazing breakfast, super comfortable bedrooms, great area for shopping and museum but still quiet
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I had some problems with their internet
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautifully decorated, stylish hotel , excellent staff and breakfast.
Cons: The beautiful rooms were unbearably hot, there is no air conditioning or fans. This meant we obviously slept with the window open but then the noise from outside was very disturbing. For example there was a group of very noisy youths outside our window and eventually police turned up and arrested someone. After this incident there was further noise and then in the early morning a lot of noise from street cleaning and refuse disposal. Obviously none of this is the hotel’s fault but the failure of the hotel to provide air conditioning or fans is the reason we had the window open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 3 nights in Stockholm and decided to stay in Sodermalm as it is a younger area of town. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient to the nearest subway station, maybe a 3 minute walk. From the subway you are one stop away from the Slussen station, which can connect you just about anywhere. Around the hotel there is ample shopping, eating, and drinking. We found numerous restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk that were wonderful. The hotel itself was nicely appointed. Even though it was undergoing renovations you could hardly tell. Our room was nice, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was a very impressive spread, with just about everything you could want. Truly a great experience, we would definitely stay here again when we are in Stockholm.

Elite Hotel Carolina Tower - Solna - Building
7
9.0 Excellent (1,697 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Elite Hotel Carolina Tower in Solna, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Stockholm City Hall and Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice large and light room, large bathroom too. Good breakfast.
Cons: Would have been ideal if there was a metro or train station closer by, but there’s a bus that stops around the corner so still ok in terms of transportations into the city.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Coffee cups terrible no handle so burns fingers. The desk top in the room is glass so computer mouse doesn't work.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very kind, buffet breakfast was good. Hotel is expensive but as everything is expensive in Stockholm, then it's a good deal for the price (compared with another 4 stars hotel we stayed the nights before)
Cons: Location, for a short stay in Stockholm and see the city is not a good option, although commuting is easy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff attitude made the stay a hit
Cons: Location far away from Old town and not having a subway station closer
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I asked for a high floor and we had the 12 to 15 (great view), we felt too cold with the air conditioning and the guy at the reception (from Bern) was very kind to come with us and check if the new room was comfortable enough. We got the 13 floor, one floor up, the air conditioning was fine and the view amazing. The breakfast was incredible delicious, I made the waffles for the first time... If I will come back to Stockholm I will be back there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The stay at Elite Hotel Carolina Tower was outstanding. Room is super comfortable and modern, and bathroom is incredibly clean. The breakfast was very nice and diverse, catering to all tastes, and the staff made a great effort to refill it all the time. Staff was also great in general, helpful and kind. Finally, the hotel is in a very quiet location, no noises at night!
Cons: The location may not be ideal because it's not in the centre, however it's very well connected by bus, both to the airport and to the city centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Saina, breakfast
Cons: Perfect. Close to the bus stop including airport bus. Late checkout on Sunday is helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here after 3 days kayaking and wild camping and it was a lovely upgrade. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and really nice. We totally raided the mini bar which was fairly reasonably priced and the hotel is situated right by loads of bars and restaurants. We returned home the following day and its situated right next to an airport transfer bus stop which meant the remainder of our stay in Stockholm was stress free. In addition, the breakfast was amazing! the waffle making machine was a thing of amazement!
Downtown Camper by Scandic - Stockholm - Building
8
9.0 Excellent (1,326 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Amidst the unmistakable big city vibe of central Stockholm is where Scandic has opened a new signature hotel for urban explorers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Personel very polite and helpfull. Specially Elen at "hot spot"-nice little tour aroud hotel, and barmen in bar on 9th floor.
Cons: Room and bathroom not cleaned as 4 star hotel should be. In the bathroom remainig hairs, dirty spots on the fllor in the room. Not a big deal, but I didn't enjoy it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: New hotel with modern feel and amenities. In the middle of the city and very accessible to shops and sights. Views on the roof are great. Breakfast was also good.
Cons: Couldn't figure out the lights (probably my fault). Spa and sauna was for charge. Most other hotels this is free.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was top! Rooms were clean and had a cool design.
Cons: Staff need to be trained to work in a 4 star hotel - they (especially bar staff is unprofessional and uninterested) do not have the behaviour what you expect in a 4 star hotel. No service - e.g.at the bar there are no waiters. Very, very pricey (also the entry to the spa area is €35,- per person and day, this need to be incl.in such a price category!). Hotel in general has to limited light (especially the lobby and rooms are very dark).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, nice atmosphere, great staff, amazing breakfast. The room was large, clean and cozy. Basically, if you used to backpack in your 20s and liked the friendly hostel feel, but nowadays want a high standard and lots of comfort, it’s the place for you. Think glamping, but in a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing Scandinavian trendy hotel! Very well located with an incredibile rooftop spa! Super breakfast! Very nice and helpful staff!
7.5 Good
Pros: Central position very convenient with everything - cheap bike rental in hotel. Decent breakfast and good bedding
Cons: Overcrowded. Hotel struggles to handle full or near to full occupancy. Spaces are not sized for this. You queue at the lifts and at breakfast and you were always bumping into someone in the hall and in the restaurant. Staff is efficient but cold. My room was real small with just a rack to hang clothes and main door banging against bathroom door when not locked
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My room was fantastic! Incredibly clean and cosy. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the Central station and Gamla Stan.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good Location, modern and fresh reception and restaurant facilities, good breakfast.
Cons: Room rather small and dark. Pool costs extra but is only open until 8pm. Rooftop bar closed Sundays and Mondays, so better don't stay on these days if you want to visit it.
7.1 Good
Pros: The green juice at breakfast was great
Cons: The service at times was a bit abrupt
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The athmosphere is fantastic, the staff is great and the location is ideal for everything being in the walking range of most attraction. The whole ideea about enviroment is cool and the daily attractions are great.
Cons: I really feel and understand the eco friendliness and even if we stayed for a week we didn’t request room cleaning more than three times but the towels were with stains every time. Really Downtown Camper?
Hotel M/s Monika - Stockholm - Bedroom
9
9.0 Excellent (391 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel M/S Monika, you'll be centrally located in Stockholm, within a 5-minute drive of Stockholm City Hall and Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
7.5 Good
Pros: Well situated, breakfast ok.
Cons: We had on 2 of 3 days a smell of feces inside the cabin, which did not originated in our cabin. It lasted for a few minutes each time and was very unpleasant. We learned on the last day that we weren’t the only ones experiencing this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very unique place to stay. The bunks were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying and plentiful. Good communication on check in.
Cons: No big dislikes, but the location is not the most convenient to major attractions. Metro stops are over 500m away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is really convenient, just 1 minute walk from the bus which goes right to the city center and other attractions. It was unusual to stay on the boat. However, we had everything we needed including simple but always fresh breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, it was easy to communicate with the nice (and handsome) guy Dawid- special thanks to him! We felt calm, safe and relaxed at Monika.
Cons: Although there was everyday cleaning, I wish it was cleaner in the room - there’s was a bit dusty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our stay in this hotel was short, but we liked it very much. We had a quadriple room (2 bunkbeds), which was relatively big (we knew that we would stay on the boat so we were prepared for something really small) and had its own bathroom. The room and the bathroom were both very clean. The beds were comfy. There was only a small window on the ceiling (which we managed to open during the night for the ventilation) but the room had enough light and didn't feel dark or dull. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was also good. Not a huge variety, but enough and satisfying. We did enjoy our stay.
Cons: The weather was windy and chilly. We had huge plans on using the top deck (the hotel provides vine glasses and deck chairs for the guests), but we never got a chance. So our plan is to come back one day and give it another try.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: If you like different things, you will love it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was nice and super accommodating. Dawid asks what time you want breakfast and then prepares it fresh in the mornings! I was staying with some friends while on a college study abroad, and the quadruple room was big enough for a group that intends to explore the city all day, then jump into bed at night. I was worried about staying on a boat, but it ended up being a unique and fun experience!
Cons: The walk down to the water/boat from the upper area of the city (from crossing the bridge) seemed a little sketchy, so just be aware. Be prepared to share the common room with other guests:)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: excellent frokost, very individuel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel M/S Monika is a unique place to stay in a great location. Perfect for a long weekend exploring the city. We would recommend / return in the future!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Coming back after half a year. Every bit as great an experience as the last time. Will definitely stay in Monika again during our next visit to Stockholm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a very unusal location and one with plenty of appeal. The room size including bathroom is very good (Room 2), bigger than some hotels in some busy cities and the overall comfort is good too. Breakfast feels special with arrangements made especially for you while the opportunity to just be there on the deck and look at your surroundings is a perk on its own. Location wise, it's very central so no issue there.
Cons: It's not for everyone, do consider it's a boat and what you may not get in space, you get in exotism, charm and appeal. The ceiling window lacks privacy as the fabric use don't fully block the view from the deck. Sounds proofing of the room door is close to non-existing so should you be in room 1 to 3, you'll likely share the schedule of other guests or vice versa. Finally, there's always some kind of pump running somewhere on the boat, not a strong noise but some kind of constant humm: relaxing to some, possibly taxing to others.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view from my room
Cons: No comment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic--great selection of food and drinks.
Cons: It was very minor--we used the coffee service in the room and for two nights we were given only decaf coffee.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Very expensive compared to other places. Relatively small room. Furniture is over used. Staff were nice.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: I chose this hotel because it had multiple restaurants and shuttle service to/from the hotel. One of the restaurants was no longer operating (out of business) and the shuttle bus had a mechanical issue causing a 45 minute delay getting to the airport
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very good: I appreciate the bio options. Nespresso machine in the premium room was welcome. The view from the premium room was great. The interior of the room: the hotel rooms keep looking new and up to date. The fast elevators
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and nice city views from the room.
Cons: Poor AC, which make the room hot to stay in during summer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, clean, convenient to central station. Nicely appointed rooms.
Cons: Room a little warm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great place and great location. Clean room and nice amenities. The restaurant and bar were good. Close to the train station. I'd definitely stay here again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient to transportation and not a long walk from major sites. Also, the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Cons: The bathroom was badly arranged. It was a disabled-accessible room, which I hadn't expected, so it was annoying for that reason, but even if I were disabled, there was no surface within reach of the shower to put shampoo, soap, etc. while I was under it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location - close to old town, view from the room, very convenient to get from the airport using multiple transport options, staff very polite and ready to help
Cons: - Power outlets in the room do not have usb chargers - - Only European outlets in the room - can not use North American equipment without adapters - not a big selection of tv channels in English
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great. We were on top floor with great view.
Cons: Room was hot. They brought up fan which help some.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and attentive to our every needs! Other hotel chains could learn from the Radisson team! Well done!
Cons: Coffee was mediocore but the cappucino made up for it!
Biz Apartment Hammarby Sjostad - Stockholm - Building
11
8.9 Excellent (4,295 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Biz Apartment Hammarby Sjstad is a convenient and flexible hotel alternative for those who work and stay longer. A bit like home for those visiting and tourists in Stockholm. Here you have the freedom and ability to choose how you want it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: new apartments, very comfortable. Big rooms. wifi works well. supermarkets in the area.
Cons: It is away from the center, but there are trams near the apartments that connect with the center.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is spacious for 2 people. Everything looks clean and new.
Cons: It requires a change of train if coming from the central station.
7.9 Good
Pros: The studio was really big and cosy, well decorated and lovely! The neighborhood, even though far from the city center (around 25min by tram and then subway) was really nice and modern and the hotel was 5 minute walk from tram stations. There were also supermarkets, some restaurants and other shops really near.
Cons: There is no cleaning of the room, unless you stay more than 6 nights. The room was really cold for me and there was nothing they could do (general air system whatsoever). Our TV was kind of broken, it switched on and off all the time on its own and it was really annoying (but still we were not there to watch TV, right?) and there was no light near the bed and they were waiting for light bulbs for 2 weeks (!).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean hotel and nice area
Cons: A bit far from the attractions
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great and all staff were friendly.
6.3 Good
Pros: The bed is very comfortable and the room is big and airy and well lit. The hotel is easily accessible by tram and close to a grocery store. I liked that the kitchenette is equipped with appliances including a filter coffee maker. The neighborhood is very safe.
Cons: When I arrived, my room did not smell clean and the bedsheets and pillows smelled of old sweat. But it was 11pm and I was tired, so I kindly reported this and asked that things be changed the next morning. The next day after a full day of meetings and work, I arrive tired at my hotel at 10pm and the sheets and pillows had not been changed. Naturally I was disappointed. I called reception and the guy was very apologetic, but since there was no housekeeping, he brought up clean pillows plus bedding and asked me to change the sheets. To me that is too little too late. I would have expected, as part of good customer service, to offer me a discounted first night or at least free breakfast every day. Coz saying sorry for letting me sleep in a dirty bed is not enough, especially since I was very kind and polite about it, and did not make a stink at all. Another day, I came at 5pm and requested a cab for 5.45pm since I had to be on time for an important work event. When I showed up at 5.45pm, the taxi was not there and the receptionist grudgingly confessed that she had forgotten to book the cab and it will take another 10-15 minutes to arrive... I arrived late to my event. Again I only got a sorry from them. Otherwise, the breakfast is mediocre and the scrambled eggs not tasty and even smelly. The neighborhood has little to offer and is far from the old town or center.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to ferry and bus station Grocery stores nearby Parking on street
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very convenient for me, staying for four nights for participating in a conference in the Globen area. The hotel is in a nice, quiet area and it was close to the public transport. The room had everything that I needed and no extras ( e.g an equipped kitchen, ironing board and iron, but no ready-stocked mini-bar). The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is really good placed respect to the city centre. It only needs to be taken the green line from "T-Centralen" to "Gullmarsplan" and then the orange line to "Sickla kaj" (nearly 20 minutes in total). It is only two blocks away from "Sickla kaj" stop, with some supermarkets nearby. The designated room was quite wide and luminous, really comfy bed and cool shower. You had everything you might need for your holidays: kettle, coffee machine, fridge, cook, toaster, etc. Gorgeous! And obviously the staff. Really kind to us since we arrived to the hotel and willing to help us in everything we might need.
Cons: It would really be much appreciated if we could have an extra little towel every 2-3 days for the shower, because it was a bit flooded quite easily when used. Also an extra tea towel would have been quite handy when washing dishes.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Possibly the best buffet breakfast I have ever had
Cons: Need more space for work, English language newspaper at breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms well designed and comfortable
Cons: The music far too loud in the dining room - so glad we did not dine there
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect. It is very close to Central station and walk distance to the old town and other center point. Lobby is good. Outside tables are nice to sit and chill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As big as I need, the facility has everything necessary, easy to find and the style is cool
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cosy and stylish hotel in central Stockholm. Staff was very helpful and professional. Great breakfast range including gluten free bread, non dairy cheese and butter..Location is great for exploring the city and getting in and out of the Arlanda airport but perhaps just a bit too central if you would like to avoid rush hour traffic.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really nice Swedish breakfast
Cons: Had to wait relatively long twice since there was merely one person at the reception. That's rather unfortunate if you need to catch a train.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location good. Loved the clean lines and design features of the hotel. Light and airy. Our room was small but there was adequate storage. Staff on the desk were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Would have liked more fresh fruit for breakfast. When asked where the pastries were, the chef just replied "all gone". Not good enough at 9.30 when breakfast goes until 10am. We would have liked to have dinner at the hotel for convenience on some nights but the menu was too limited. I assume you cater for the after work crowd.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very close to express train from airport and great central location to explore the city during the day and at night
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean room. Good variety of food at breakfast. Great to be so near the Arlanda Express.
Cons: I got the smallest room. No luggage rack so suitcase had to be on the floor and in such a small room that poses a problem. Both bicycles in the gym were broken. Was told to find my own place at breakfast but everything was full. Much noise at breakfast.
7.5 Good
Cons: Overcrowded breakfast room. Clearly overpriced room. We booked a ”suite” for three people. Did not feel like a suite (narrow and low ceiling) and cost more than 8700:- SEK for two nights. Room was too warm at night, too.
Overview Reviews
One of Stockholm’s most treasured Art Nouveau buildings is reborn. In its most recent incarnation, the former Ateneum girl’s school has been transformed into the Miss Clara, a first class property from Sweden’s dynamic Nobis Group. Built in 1910, the building has been lovingly restored under the direction of Gert Wingårdh of architecture firm Wingårdhs with a palpable sense of heritage at its core. All 92 rooms follow the Swedish architect’s unique concept of an outward-facing property, where the windows facing Sveavägen boulevard are treated as ‘center stage’. Here guests can expect a chic intermingling of marble bathrooms, retractable workspaces and contemporary riffs on the property’s Art Nouveau history via furniture pieces and installations. At street-level, a vibrant restaurant and bar thrive on the urban buzz of the evolving Stockholm district, welcoming guests and savvy-locals alike.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were nice and not Uber small. Of good size. Standing full shower and not your typical half-Euro bath. Had a good gym that operated 24-hours. Staff was very friendly, yet efficient. Hotel restaurant was a great choice for an outdoor meal with a good view. Food was excellent.
Cons: Beds was a bit soft. A small quibble in an otherwise excellent stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location,nice staff,reasonable price!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very trendy
Cons: Lack of coffee/tea in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, very safe area, easy walk to Gamla Stan. I didn't have breakfast or use sauna so can't say.
Cons: I stayed for 3 nights and requested move to quieter room as the rooms at front overlook an really busy and noisy main thoroughfare with very loud traffic noise. The second room at courtyard at the back was really quiet and I slept very well. It would have been nice to have an area to make a cup of tea/coffee.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of breads, cereals and eggs. The scrambled eggs were delicious and refreshed constantly. The coffee was way above average too. The hotel has a small but more than adequate fitness center and it also boasts a nice sauna. Far better than most boutique hotels.
Cons: The location is mid-town in the commercial/shopping area but it is a bit of a walk to Gamla Stan, the historic old town. There is a subway stop about a block away, however, and it is on a direct line to the central station and to the old town one stop beyond.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clever design, very comfortable and clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. This was our first trip with our three month old the hotel made it so easy and accommodated us so well. Hotel breakfast was great and we ate at the hotel which we wouldn’t normally do and food was fantastic. If staying in Stockholm we will definitely be back, we couldn’t recommend this place enough.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The design, location, friendly staff. Very good breakfast with gluten free options. The reataurant at ground floor is excellent nicely decorated and good vibes.
Cons: The lack of closet or drawers in the room, they must find a way to solve this, giving the excellent design of the rest of the facilities.
6.7 Good
Pros: did not have the breakfast - great cafe next door. Location was good. hotel was clean.
Cons: room was very small with little space for luggage. shower gels were replaced every day, even if not empty - a waste. They didnt leave shower gel at all one day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I love the staff and the rooms. They have a bit of Nordic charm character and on this occasion I was upgraded so I had a bigger room. The toiletries are all Byredo which is a nice touch.
Cons: The hairdryer is awful.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I have traveled to Stockholm for work a few times and this is by far the best and my favorite hotel in Stockholm. The room is decently sized and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom and shower are spacious and the bath products are actually great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is extremely good. Very fresh! The restaurant and cocktail bar in the hotel are also amazing. Highly recommend a stay at Miss Clara
Cons: The gym is kind of small, but for a quick work out it gets the job done. I couldn't find the terrace, but apparently one exists.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience - hotel was amazing totally recommended
Cons: Not enough choice for breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Close to all the good tourist attraction and Djurgården is over all a beautiful place.
Cons: The shower/bathtub was not the best layout. Got water all over the bathroom and there was nothing that could be done about that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was conveniently located near all sights. Ferry around the corner and tram across the street. Will book again next year
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location!
Cons: The lobby, very strange entrance! It is all about the ABBA Museum!
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent, the staff very helpful and the breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious and nicely designed.
Cons: Both rooms we booked had damaged facilities - one of them wouldn’t lock the door and the other had a missing face mirror and the window didn’t fully close, which was an issue because of the outside noise. The bathtub/shower looks nice but is very cumbersome, being especially dangerous for the elderly, since it is very hard to get in and out of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to ABBA museum and Gröna Lund and close to the city. Clean. Good bed.
Cons: Service in the reception was very slow. Shampoo bottles in the bathroom were impossible to open. Breakfast was served in a dark room. It was meant to be calm and relaxing... The sureoundings were noisy late in the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good bedding. We are returning Customers. New set up in the breakfast area and reception desk. I personally preferred the previous breakfast setting. Very good buffet.
Cons: Lightings in restaurant room
6.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast and bathrooms.
Cons: Closing kitchen an hour before it should have. Music from museum all day long. Sound insulation to neighboring rooms isn't very good. Overpriced coffee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Alexander and Joanna were great and Anthony was extraordinary!
Cons: Lighting was dark. Tub was great but difficult to use the shower without soaking the bathroom. Loved the location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about the Pop House. Stayed here due to the ABBA museum but got so much more. The best beds, spotlessly clean, food was great, easy access via the tram and ferries
Cons: Nothing wrong with it. Some work happening at the Tivoli next door but didnt affect our stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was good Convenient for public transportation

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Lady Hamilton Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Stockholm, steps from Stockholm Palace and 5 minutes by foot from Museum of Medieval Stockholm. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had a great feel. Filled with antiques, and memorabilia. We enjoyed the ambiance. However that said our room was very snug. Being eco friendly lighting had some issues. The bathroom lights were at best useless. Fortunately by opening the window a street lamp provided enough light at night. Because the weather was warm we needed to keep the window open but as a result the room was quite noisy. Cobble street and late night revellers. Breakfast was excellent, the area was terrific, the staff helpful so we had 3 wonderful days in the wonderful city of Stockholm.
Cons: Please see comments above re size of room, lighting and area noise during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The location is ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every wall, nook and cranny is filled with folk art, antiques and memorabilia. One of the nicest buffet breakfast I've experienced. Great location
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location in Gamla Stan was perfect. The antiques all around the hotel are excellent.
Cons: We were very unhappy with the light fittings over the bed. They were positioned immediately over the headboard - projecting out forward quite a distance and sharp at the bottom. (See photo). In my view they are very dangerous, as if you woke up in the night and sat up you would bash your head very easily. I am surprised any electrician would have fitted them like this. They should be changed before someone does have an accident. The hotel is manned by only one member of staff at a time, so he couldn't leave the reception desk. The hotel was fully booked so room change not possible either.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room location and decoration (old goods)
Cons: No privacy. The room is insecure because it does not allow locking the door inside. We were surprised by the entry of staff without waiting for authorization.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, perfect location, great staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Hot days, no AC, noisy outside so some troubles to open the windows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, Location, Location in old town within walking distance to everything even the new town on another island and the ferrys and hop on hop off boat stop. The hotel is quaint. Breakfast is good and plentiful and quite relaxed in preparation for a big day. The staff are very helpful and English speaking. This hotel is one of 3 of the Collector's Hotels on the old town island of Gamla Stan and I would expect that all would have the same level of excellent customer service. The small room is a little small, particularly if you have been traveling for a while with large suitcases, however that was the only room left when I booked so be warned! book early as these well located hotels book out very quickly. Many restaurants on the island and although a tourist area which can be quite busy during the day from early evening crowds thin out when tour groups return to their ship. Great evening meals however go a little later to avoid the queues or book ahead.
Cons: Size of room, however as explained only room available when I booked
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in Gamla Stan and able to walk everywhere! Breakfast was amazing every morning!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location for restaurants and things to see. The hotel as been fitted out with lots of interesting things from the past. All the staff were lovely.
Cons: The room was a little small but we were aware of that from other travellers reviews.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were nice with great views. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small and friendly quaint hotel in an excellent location in the Old Town. This was a return visit and would definitely stay again if I return to Stockholm. Although the rooms are small, there is sufficient wardrobe and shelf space to unpack your luggage. Valuables can be placed in a safety deposit box at reception.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location for train station and easy access to all sights. Staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent - a lot of variety on offer.
Cons: Room was extremely small and hot. No air con. We were facing the inner courtyard so kept the window open ... but it was still very hot at night (in September). Bed was too soft and lacked support. Sadly we did not sleep well.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great reception staff. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Location. Standard of cleaning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else good
Cons: All were good just room and toilet bit small
5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean, slightly funky establishment and with a very good breakfast.
Cons: Very expensive for the standard of accommodation provided. Head of reservations preferred to be on the phone rather than serve guests, he also arranged a series of taxis for various guests all under the name of ‘reception’ (not surprisingly confusion ensued!). The hotel’s wifi was next to useless, as it kept dropping out and then randomly unavailable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location can’t be beat - right in central Stockholm close to Central Station, with countless restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hotel is a nice mid-range option; not too fancy, but had everything I needed, and the room was a decent size by European standards. The heated bathroom floors were a nice touch, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I was worried because the rooms do not have air conditioning (you know we Americans LOVE our AC!), but the room has big windows that I left open at night with a fan blowing in front, and it was perfectly cool and quiet... and no bugs! Unfortunately, the room does not have a safe. The rainfall shower head is a nice touch, but the shower stall itself is very narrow, so if you’re a larger person, it would be a tight squeeze. Did not try the free breakfast since there are so many good options in the neighborhood.
Cons: My only complaint is that there were no signs to put on the door to say no housekeeping - I called the front desk to tell them not to do my room, but they did anyway. Seemed wasteful in an otherwise fairly eco-conscious city. But I would stay here again for sure!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, great location.
Cons: small room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the central station and the breakfast was very varied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was kind and the hotel was in a perfect location for my need (across the road from the airport express and central train station).
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Small room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It has a great location and we walked most everywhere. The staff were nice, helpful, kind, competent and pleasant to deal with. It isn't a huge luxury hotel, but is more personal, while still being very nice, clean, and modern - I like nicer hotels and I was happy with this choice. The breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: We were there at an unseasonably warm period, so the room was occasionally a little warm, but with the use of the fan, it was fine, and we could get a breeze through the window when we opened it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location,staff and food
Cons: Shower walls need a good scrubbing!

Pros: average level of hotel breakfast. complimentary gym with sauna. direct access to the shopping moll.
Cons: Not hotel itself but staff of restaurant at 25 floor were not good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast & Soundproof window
Cons: Just 1 tiny thing - no onetime use flip flops
7.9 Good
Pros: We all liked the delicious breakfast and the room quality (comfortable beds and nice view from the window). Good location!
Cons: I stayed in various occasions at Friends, which is why I went again, this time with my parents. I did not like: 1. During our stay and while my parents were resting, our room door was opened 3 times by people the looked like construction workers, they knocked once and swiftly decided to just go ahead and open the door. 2. Sadly i have to say that the reception staff quality has decreased, they seemed to be busy even though there was not a queue at the time i checked in and out. I asked for umbrellas due to the rainy weather, staff mentioned in a rude way the fact that I had to bring the hotel umbrellas back because they were pricey items. Even though I left my luggage with them and I had to obviously come back their way.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, and one of the staff Reinaldo, was particularly friendly and helpful. It was the first time I've come to Solna for work and pleasure, bringing my daughter with me - and he gave some great advice about transport around the city.
Cons: Our television didn't work, which was irritating. It would be good to have some information about the hotel in the room - breakfast timings, check out etc. Although texting reception works fine, it is a nuisance to have to keep asking questions. Also I couldn't get the air conditioning to a cool enough temperature at night & warm enough in the day.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a very nice stay for one week. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very extensive and diverse, basically all we could wish for. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous, apart from one notable exception (see below). There is a supermarket in the same building as the hotel, which is very handy for tourists. The subway is just a 10 minute walk away, so within 20 minutes you can reach the city centre.
Cons: We love to sleep long. So we were very happy that breakfast was served until 10:30. This meant that guests could turn up until 10:30 and would still find everything at the buffet. Afterwards the doors were closed and food at the buffet wasn't renewed anymore, which is fine. Unfortunately guests who stayed in the breakfast room longer than 10:30 were at some point asked to leave, although they were still eating, so that the staff could clear the buffet. On our first days, this happened always at 11:00, which was okay to us, since half an hour is plenty of time to have breakfast. But later on in the week some breakfast staff member asked us to leave already at 10:40. We understand that breakfast has to end at some point, but in which restaurant are you served food until some point and then made to eat that food within 10 minutes? As I said above the hotel staff in general was very friendly and courteous and everyone was trying really hard to please us. But unfortunately already one notable exception can spoil the efforts of the all others, which is just sad.

6.7 Good
Pros: Big room, clean
Cons: Quite expensive. Was sure my booking said, quiet courtyard room, but got a room facing the street. Not possible to open window/door, too loud.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Supermarket downstairs
Cons: A singke iron in the whole hotel 4 floors down. No other ironing facilities. An absolute joke. Supposed to get a double bed. Got 2 sibgles. Room was hot. Air con barely works.
6.3 Good
Pros: The lobby. The checkout. The breakfast. The bed. TV.
Cons: My girlfriend suggests to clean the floor better. Although I was satisfied with the effort the cleaning is done. I could not pay for my stay in cash. It was exceptional that I had that much cash. And I booked the hotel using specific credit card. Although I personally feel it is bad I cannot pay for my stay in cash if I need to. SEK is the official currency in Sweden and I feel that business must accept it if the customer choose to pay in cash. Or make it clear from the very beginning that it is a cash free hotel. If hotel had questions to my income or identity I was ready to confirm it. Otherwise it might be interpreted as a discrimination. "Show me your passport. No we cannot accept your payment in cash".
