Nagahama Beach Resort Kanon

The staff are so friendly and professional. It’s a gorgeous property with a private beach and open lawn. The complimentary ice cream during check-in was so awesome. The private beach was fantastic. Lots of space. Very peaceful. The view with a private beach exceeded expectations! A wonderful surprise fruit tray in the fridge made the entire family smile.

A little difficult to locate said property. Also, the hotel lacks facilities. Had wifi problems on our phones. Signal is poor. Slightly dated. Had ants in the kitchen. Without a car, a bit tricky to explore the area, given its remote nature.

The hotel provides free beach rentals, including snorkeling gear, beach equipment, and DVDs. It also offers free ice cream and welcome/farewell gifts. Additionally, there is free Wi-Fi, a private beach, and a saltwater pool with a view.

The room was very clean. The private bungalows were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is quaint and quiet. Lovely welcome fruit basket, and the daily free ice-cream and water bottles are a lovely touch. The ocean view is second to none, and the facilities, as well as privacy, were great for our anniversary outing.

There is no restaurant, no bar area, no lounge area. The only thing that would’ve made this stay better would’ve been a dining option on site. The booking facilities section for this property can be misleading as it says a BBQ is included. When we asked to use the BBQ we were told it was going to cost 3500 yen for rental.

Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the beach or garden comes highly recommended.

Many guests highlighted the need for a car to access the property due to its remote location. It's advisable to rent a car for convenience in getting around and exploring the area.
