Pros: Loved the house, the concerts given by the birds in the garden. Our room was clean and quiet. Fridge in the room was great. The owner is very friendly. She gave great recommendations for the sights nearby. Great hiking options in the area. My need for gluten free breakfast was easily accommodated and breakfast was good. Looking forward to be back next year, would love to enjoy the property more when the pool is open.
Cons: It was cold in the morning when we woke up, as the heating was turned off during the night. Sometimes the hot water took a very long time to get to our room.
Pros: The owner was delightful, and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. She was particularly good with children and pets.
Cons: We had a twin room, and the beds were not the most comfortable I have slept in. With the windows open there was a lot of noise from the nearby road.
Pros: Ana gets 10/10 in hospitality and deserves extra credit for actually paying attention to any request regarding dinner and breakfast (if it is within her means and available). There are birds in the area (plenty of them), and at times one or two will keep 'performing' a bit late at night so now you know. But I'd say this is part of the rural 'magic', and this place has quite a lot of it. Being able to work on a quiet terrace overlooking those gardens and slopes was 'a gift.
Pros: We found the accommodation perfect for our needs, as we were travelling with two dogs.. the owner was delightful, very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Location a bit off the beaten track but easy to find and very peaceful.
Cons: Nothing really, out host provided us with a cooked meal in the evening but there are resturants nearly if you prefer. If we were to stay again when in the area, we might try eating out in the evening.
Located by the River Jerte, La Casería is located in northern Extremadura, 5 minutes’ drive outside the village of Navaconcejo. It offers a large garden with a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue. La Casería offers rustic apartments and a small country cottage, all with garden and great views of the Jerte Valley. All air-conditioned accommodation comes with a TV, and the kitchen includes a microwave and coffee maker. The property has a laundry service and a library, and staff at reception can provide information about the surrounding area. The Sierra de Gredos Nature Reserve is 30 minutes' drive away, and Monfragüe National Park is 45 minutes away. The beautiful city of Cáceres is 1.5 hours’ drive from La Casería, and you can drive to Salamanca in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Pros: location and outdoors facilites
Pros: The spa (but sadly included only 30 min, so obviously we had to pay for a reasonable duration) The outside space and location is good
Cons: The lobby has old and dirty sofas. Behind the reception there are some very smelly bathrooms...you can note the bad smell from the lobby and each time that you want to access to the buffet area/breakfast room. The bedroom was ok, but nothing special. The bathroom still having the painter’s stickers in the ceiling and the tiles joint was dirty. Maybe few years ago it was good, but now is overpriced for the quality that they offer.
Pros: Green environment
Cons: 1. Very poor internet. 2. Swimming pool was a lot smaller than perception giving by the pictures 3. Swimming pool was also open for outside customers, and you had to pay 3 EUR to use the seats. 4. Communication with reception was not really warm
Pros: The facilities were clean, comfortable, well organized, and easily accessible; and the staff were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. My wife and I were just looking for a place to sleep at night while we toured the Valle de Jerte; however, the facilities and staff were so exceptional, we would definitely return for a longer stay just to relax at the hotel.
Cons: No complaints! We can’t think of a thing.
Pros: Hotel location is great, only sounds at night were those of nature. Nice buffet restaurant, food above average
Cons: At this time of the year there was a lot of flying seeds from the trees at the property (chopos trees)
Pros: Resort's location is really great. Plenty of nature around, decent parking lot (at least in low season). Functional fridge in the room (not overheated like usually). Room of satisfying size.
Cons: Water in the SPA should be much warmer. Shower was really holding in place, it was a little inconvenient that the hose didn't reach the bathtub, it would only have enough length to hang
Pros: Decent size bedroom with amazing views and panoramic windows. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to choose different types of pillows for free. Bathroom very modern and nice shower. Breakfast is pretty good with plenty of choice and gluten free bread. The staff is very profesional, kind and attentive.
Cons: The drain of the shower was a bit blocked and we ended up with lots of water spillage out of the shower.
Cons: Dinner is not served until 8:30 - but this is usual in Spain
Pros: Great stay and a beautiful location, the food was also excellent
Pros: The location was great. There are lots of natural pools around the area, not only in this pueblo but in all the surrounding areas. If you have more than a day, explore these areas as well as they are good places to relax. The room was nice and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Remember that there is no parking on site and they are clear about that, so we have no complaints because there are places to park nearby. They give you as many towels as you need for the pool without making it difficult. You can grab a drink or a coffee from the hotel to take down to the pool. Just be careful to recycle the plastic later :) Breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about.
Cons: In general the staff were friendly and helpful, but the person working breakfast was not friendly at all. Breakfast goes until 10:30.
Pros: A wonderful reception upon our late arrival. Sol, the receptionest, managed to get us a table for dinner even that we arrived 22.30. Nothing was a problem for her and her name reflects everything in her character. The dinner and breakfast next morning were great. The room and bathroom were beautifully designed and spectacular views throughthe window. We ’d announced that we were arriving with two dogs. In the room was provided two dog beds, treats and toys. Also two bowls. Amazing!!!
Pros: The local knowledge of area shown by reception staff was very good and helpful
Cons: The hotel's swimming pool is shown as a main attraction but potential guests, particularly those from overseas, should be aware that it is only open for the June to August summer period and in our case this was not mentioned in booking terms. Nothing more frustrating than being told you can't use the pool on a beautiful sunny day in May with a temperature of 25 degrees. I would say that a 4 star rating for this hotel is a bit over the top, 3 star would be more accurate. Not even a couple of bottles of free water in the room. Restaurant food is good but in the evening the actual room itself is without any atmosphere. Location is excellent which saved the day.

Pros: Fabulous little hotel with wonderful breakfasts and very kind owner who went out of her way to make us feel at home. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Pros: Excellent location for wandering around the small town. Simple but adequate rooms. Very welcoming and helpful owner. On her recommendations we ate an evening meal at one of the two local taverns - and enjoyed it. Good continental breakfast. Dinner is sometimes available.
Pros: The property was well located and had a great feel due to our wonderful host Cielo. Rooms were simple but comfortable and clean and the breakfast was generous. Cielo spoke perfect English, gave us suggestions for activities and could not have been more accommodating.

Pros: The room. The location. The surroundings
Pros: Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The room was adequate and a/c and everything else worked well.
Cons: Not a lot to do around the area and eating places were basic.
Cons: The breakfast was not great. A toasted bread roll and some packets of condiments That's it. Disappointing. The beds were not real comfortable, felt more like a camping bed.
Pros: Good breakfast, good location, and free parking. Bar/restaurant on the ground floor were good with drinks reasonably priced and good tapas.
