The cleanliness and the location of the hostel was amazing. They have a permanent cleaning staff that does their work round the clock.
The check-in time is really uncomfortable. They should allow guests from 11.00 a.m. Also, the cafeteria is way too expensive. I paid 150/- for a regular cappuccino, which tasted no better than what you get at the small coffee vendors.
I liked the comfort of the place..the beds were cosy and the rooftop was an amazing place to chill out..the place is well decorated. It is minimal but really beautiful. Many pubs and clubs are nearby, so for all the party goers, this is the place to stay. There are also many eateries nearby - both cheap and expensive..So you have lots of options. The staff are really well behaved and try to make you as comfortable as possible. Hospitality cannot be questioned at this place.
The street outside the hostel is not at all well maintained. Now that is not the hostel's fault. But if you go in the rainy season, the pot holes will be problematic. The food at the cafe was very good but if you compare the prices with the other places then it was slightly higher. But the food quality is top notch. There are also many eateries nearby so cheaper options are available at a stone's throw away..
Location is in a safe, busy small village area with lots of cafes / eating places nearby. Very lively. Some of the staff were great. Thanks to Amit who offered a lot of help during my time there!!
Too noisy. Hostel is suitable for anyone looking to party. The area itself has lots of bars etc. around. I booked a private room in the hopes of having some sleep but didn't sleep well any night i was there. i stayed 6 nights and partying/music was going on until around 4am. Lots of banging / yelling on the rooftop and in the hallways. Would advise not staying here if you are a solo traveller looking to sleep. In terms of street noise there was very little, it was primarily the hostel staff and other travelllers. As well as the noise i found the room itself to be overpriced. Bed was comfortable but had to remind staff to clean / add water as wasn't replaced everyday. Also the kettle doesn't have a long enough cord so you have to attempt to plug it into a socket on the ground if you want to make some tea. All in all i wouldn't stay here again with the current cost. Better to stay in a hotel if your looking for a private room.
The property is big, has a good seating area on ground floor with good food..and a nice beautiful terrace! Rooms have good space even if it's a dorm, there is ample space there.
Have to be a bit careful regarding mosquitoes.
Staff didn’t reat us well. The behaviour was very poor. They don’t know of how a guest should be treated.
