We went there to stay close to Norgia, picked the hotel to have access to a swimmingpool because of the high temperature these days. Not possible to put your toes in the water because of large groups of young people occupying it completely absolutely all the time.
nice room, good kingszise bed
Very stylish and comfortable hotel. Probably the most beautiful place to stay in Norcia. The room they gave us was small in comparison with the other rooms, which the owner showed us only afterwards.
Beautifully restored palazzo using local, natural materials and craftsmen. Only open one year. They aimed to create a home rather than a hotel and succeeded. And they gave us a room upgrade! Personal visits from the owner and the chef while dining in the gourmet restaurant. There was a coach party staying at the hotel and it wasn't really geared up to coping with the large numbers. Food ran out at breakfast and we had to wait for it to be replaced. We also ended up with them having fairly noisy post dinner drinks next to where we were trying to enjoy the gourmet restaurant. They will probably get this sorted out.
Lovely rooms, free wireless, coffee and tea facilities in room, nice common areas (library and lounge room)
We were very pleased with the staff. In fact I left my cellular phone and when I called they had it and where going to mail it to me. Wonderful honest staff.
The hotel staff was very helpful. She showed me three rooms in order to find a room that suits our need. Very nice breakfast with a wide range of choice.
The owner was very personable and made the guests feel welcome. The ambience was pleasant and relaxed. Breakfast was good though the choice of fruits and ham was very limited (no ham only salami). Dining was refined but the atmosphere was not as warm and cheerful as the one in the sister hotel.
praticamente tutto, dall'accoglienza all'ambiente alla spa alla cena...10 e lode davvero, consigliatissimo!!! davvero si fa fatica a trovare un difetto, tutto molto bello...
Enjoyed it very much, I think we recieved a good discount being midweek, so was very good value for money.
lovely little town, beautiful bedroom, spa was small but nice. very quiet, no bar in the hotel or was not open, would not recomend a long stay as there is not much to do without traveling, but for short break it is ideal.
The hotel is beautifully renovated. Lack of wifi in the rooms.
Charming staff, central location in a very attractive small town. Close to the Piano Grande to see the wild flower meadows which was the purpose of our visit. Good restaurant with excellent local specialities. The bedrooms are very old fashioned and dark. We upgraded to a superior room which was larger but still old fashioned and dark.
Great location, and superb dinner meal at the restaurant, cozy well appointed room
We loved being able to use the health centre and the supportive service
excellent meal on the first night but felt that the in the second night there were many poor aspects. staff were unfriendly then and it appeared as though we had annoyed them in some way.
the hotel runnes by a family and u r becoming part of it quickly... the parking is in the other hotel, the breakfast is average, the room is small but for what we pay it was 11 out of 10 !!!
The athmosphere in the old town is very nice. A very helpful staff at the hotell. The room was very spaciously and quite. We can really recommend the restaurant at the hotell with it´s great menu and good service. The hotellguests have 10 % discount there. The breakfastbuffe was very poor.
Great position, adequate rooms, Very chaotic breakfast service, no tonic for g&t in the bar, scruffy balcony off room
nice hotel, but parking is a bit problematic and far from the hotel.
staff was very helpful and kind shower was not good and water wasn't very hot
The best aspect is its location - very convenient - close to everything one wants to do or see in Norcia I found that the toilette facilities (WC and all) in the two rooms my mother and I stayed, really had a very negative impact on the whole structure. The ingenious way of fitting in the WC, shower and lavatory in a extremely small area, say more about aiming at reaching techical requirements (rooms with complete bathroom) in spite of losing in confort and well being of the guests. It detracts, in my view, what could have been a much nicer experience. Had the owners planned lesser rooms but with more confort, I think this Hotel could be almost unbeateble in the area. Also, the owners run several hotels in the area, and shops, making a bit too blunt effort to make people buy their products, which I thought was uncessary.
Casale Urbani is a beautiful secret place tucked into the mountains outside Spoleto--quiet and charming. Loved everything about it!
Eating on the terrace with unbelievable views od wooded valleys.Friendly and unstuffy staff and management. Excellent food and wine. Swimming in a beautiful swimming pool with vistas on all sides. Very well appointed rooms. Not applicable.
Gorgeous hotel. The junior suite we stayed in was absolutely stunning in all aspects (we loved the Italian-antique style decor). Very very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and treated us like royalty. The hotel is situated in a small farming community in Umbria so it's completely tranquil and the views are stunning. The location is a little hard to get to. I would recommend taking the bus rather than a taxi because we spent around 30 euros on cab fare from the nearest train station (Spoleto). The restaurant at the hotel was also a little pricey but we didn't have many other options considering the remoteness of the hotel.
location, atmosphere, the restaurant in the hotel, the stuff. in short - everything
