Nice people at counter
Dirty and not well maintained
the bed was soooo soft. lol for the price, cant beat it.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Location was good where it was a short ride to anywhere I needed to be. Room was clean, quiet and bed was super comfy!! Great deal for the price!! Will definitely stay again when in Charleston!
I loved the massive room for the great price last minute and the breakfast the next morning was excellent . I will recommend and utilize again .
Everything was great
The airconditioner worked in the second room we were in.
The first room we went into was dissusting. There is no way anyone had stepped foot inside that room for at least two weeks. The air conditioner was just blowing air. It wasn't cold. The amount of mildew growing on the furnishings was incredible. After waiting in the empty lobby for ten minutes the attendant came back. She was very apologetic. She left messages in three different places to be sure the issue was taken care of. I sent an email to the hotel while I was waiting for her to return. As of yet, 2 days later, I still haven't gotten a reply from the manager. The second room was clean. It had that sour urine smell of an air conditioner condensation problem. But it was clean and the rust on the bathroom shower rod didn't bother me that much. When we checked out no one bothered to ask about our stay. That was my last time to step foot in a Clarion Hotel
Our room was visually decent .... First thing we noticed was the terrible smell it smelled as though something died... The bed spread was stained the towels were straight up dirty and there was mold and trash in the corners the room .
Nice room and great staff
There is a club next door to the hotel that turns this hotel into a rather unsafe place at night. We heard yelling and fights from our room outside all night long. Park in a well lit area, lock your doors, and do not leave valuables in the car.
Extremely noisy The train run thought your bed they need a new triple glazed window.
The bed was so wonderful! It was so clean and classy!
The area is a little rough, but we used to live there and know that there are always cops out and about. You never feel unsafe.
We were provided with an iron which is something we always forget to bring from home.
The hotel did not have our reservations and we were placed in a king instead of a double.
The room and hospitality was just excellent. I like it very much because of its great location close to the downtown area of Charleston.
I thought that the recent renovations were done in very good taste. The bathrooms were very nice, the bedding was extremely comfortable and the room itself was in good shape.
The elevator for a short time stopped working, but overall the hotel was very well kept which made the money for the room well spent.
they made the most out of a budget hotel. Cleaning staff in particular seemed above average. Location was good between the airport and the city.
there is a railroad which passes about 50 yards behind the hotel. At night the train drivers would blow their horns. Impossible to sleep through that
bed was very comfy, staff helpful, design quality of the room very good, enjoyed the bathtub (big enough for two...although kind of tight)...loved the granite, and the appliance center.
