Pros: Location to the mountain, the german resturant, and the yert party was AMAZING
Cons: No complaints
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is great. It is close to Gore Mountain. It is a great location for outdoor activities.
Cons: This motel has no amenities. In inclement weather there is NOTHING to do.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The photos don't do it justice. The Lodge is super cute, clean and well appointed for outdoors enthusiasts. From the boot trays next to the door to the extra drying racks for wet gear, they thought very carefully about what guests need when visiting the north country. And how many American ski lodges have complimentary Swedish fish and homemade spatzle?
Cons: No complaints!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant next door. (beck's) Delicious food and beverage. A leisurely one minute walk back to my room. Met one of the owners who adjusted the heat to our specifications, and gave us important background information on the Adirondack area which proved helpful.
Cons: Can't really think of anything.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent more time in the Yurts than we did in our room! The guests-only yurt that served as the common room for the lodge was very comfortable and quiet, with comfortable seating, games, and a wood stove that was always stoked. The Pub-yurt with the live music was a lovely, social place to go post-ski, or, in our case, post-hike. We very much enjoyed the live Celtic music! We enjoyed dinner at Beck's, and an after-dinner drink at the bar. We would definitely eat there again. Having a trail-head behind Beck's Tavern made it extremely simple to head out for a hike up a very icy trail to a frozen waterfall on our micro-spikes. Gore Mountain Lodge was a very comfortable place to ride out some pretty crappy weather...everything from rain, freezing rain, and ice, to snow, and of course, the snow was on the day we were leaving.
Cons: Would have liked breakfast to be included, but there was a Keurig and a small refrigerator in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to Becks tavern is a big plus
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds. Good sized room, friendly, coffee in room, perfect location
Cons: Bathtub needs updating and it’s pricey

5.0 Okay
Pros: This all about location it was great and the old building was charming. The ski and snow shoe facilities first class. The staff were lovely.
Cons: It should be noted that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in neighbouring rooms. our room was also filled with cooking smells from very early in the day. We had no hot water for our stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful and pleasant, allowing us to check into our room early so we could get on the ski trails. Dinner and breakfast were satisfactory, but nothing exceptional. We enjoyed sitting in front of the huge fireplace with a nice cup of tea, as well as the back room with the pool table. Very convenient access to the ski trails.
Cons: Our room was directly above the bar, which initially worried us, as we could hear every word being spoken! However, it quieted down soon after dinner and did not affect our sleep. It was a Thursday night, so perhaps the bar stays open later on the weekends. The bigger problem was not with the Lodge itself, but with the Ski Shop pickup van, which failed to arrive at the appointed time and place, forcing us to ski back uphill for an hour and 20 minutes in 9 degree temperatures (frozen water bottles), missing lunch in the process! When I asked what happened, the young man at the Ski Shop basically just shrugged and said "hmmm, that's strange". Inexcusable!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Not much
Cons: We booked in October and our room was the furthest from the property. The room was old and tired. Linens were equally old and uncomfortable. The electric heat in the rooms next to and above ours were constantly cycling off and on all night and it sounded like a constant pinging or popcorn going off. Literally all night. Awful experience.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location in the Adirondaks, facilities are as classic Adirondak lodge with extensive and well maintained cross country skiing trails. Food was excellent inlcuding breakfasts. And the wait staff were very accommodating. Ski shop staff were especially helpful.
Cons: Only problem was the slow flowing bathroom sink in our Tea House lodging.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was very good
Cons: Room was a little small
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked Adirondack atmosphere, relaxed lodge, food, ability to ski....nothing to dislike.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great!
Cons: Room on the small side, poor lighting in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Buffet food was not that hot but then they went to orders by Menu and that was very good. Ski shop very helpful especially with the pickup ride back to the Lodge!
Cons: Cold Buffet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to North Creek for only 2 days, to go snowboard at Gore Mountain. The property was at 5 mins, with an excellent view from the room and everything was excellent, more than we were expecting, super cozy, good restaurant food, a pool table and a open bar. it was great We will back for sure.
