Pros. Location was the only thing I liked
Cons. I understand because of COVID housekeeping was not in the rooms daily but our tub was clogged, we had sand everywhere, toilet paper holder was broken, I asked for towels and ended up having to go the desk to get them, was only given one roll of toilet paper at a time and our floor stunk
Pros. The staff was super amazing and very helpful
Cons. They didn’t check me in until 5 even though I made a reservation
Pros. Location
Cons. Rooms where not clean. They placed me in a room that connected to another room that had extremely loud guests in and the staff did nothing about it. Had to sleep with TV on to cover the noise.
Pros. Balcony, great staff, location, clean
Cons. Had to listen to drilling in the building all day which gave us headaches
Pros. This was our first time staying at the Paradise Plaza Inn. We will stay here again. The location is awesome. It is right on the Boardwalk, and beach, and close to everything. There are even several stores right in the hotel. We had a semi-Oceanview room, on the fourth floor. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the salt air, while watching the sand and surf. The hotel staff is super friendly. The staff was beyond helpful, accommodating and friendly. The Queen beds were comfortable and super clean. Room service keeps everything fresh, clean and fun; as they turn your towels into animals! The rooms are surprisingly spacious and felt new.
Pros. Good location and good staff
Cons. One of the latches on the celling fail off and rust and dirt fail off on to the floor at 6am. The curtains were broken, the room right beside us had kids screaming and crying and had a dog that barked ever time we moved in the room.
Cons. I was really excited to stay here. Upon arrival, the location of the hotel was perfect! I go in to check in, there is no one in the lobby and I literally stood at the desk for 8 minutes before being helped. Finally a girl comes around and says she didn't see me; not a problem, she gets me in and up to the room we go. Once we enter you are literally right on the boardwalk, great view! We drop the bags and go out to dinner reservations we had as we were in a rush didn't even look at the room. Once we get back I notice while getting ready for bed there is black mold everywhere lining the room. We go to close the blinds for bed and literally 100+ nats coming flying out. I called the front desk immediately, he literally said "can I call you right back", and 2 minutes later I have a housekeeper I would assume in my room with a can of Raid! She couldn't even believe how many there were! On top of that, a dirty rag came from under the blinds. Something that was obviously missed. I told the housekeeper that I was not sleeping in a room with this many bugs and certainly not after spraying Raid. She leaves and I get a call " do you want to switch rooms" I responded yes, I am told to come down and they will give me new keys. I get to the desk, there is NO apology which is honestly what makes me so mad about this experience. I get to the new room, and the keys they just gave me- don't work. I go back down, and she re-keys and sends me on my way. Again, no apology it's 11:30 at night and I'm ready for bed. I'm now bothered to the point where it's hard to sleep. The most annoying part is had I gotten the room they switched me to, to start with we wouldnt of had a problem as this room was exactly the same but actually CLEAN. I'd like to say this seems like a nice play to stay and we just had bad luck with the room, however the behavior from the staff really bothered me. If management would like to reach out, I have plenty of pictures and videos of the first room. Room 503 definetly needs some work.
Pros. Clean and reasonably priced
Pros. Excellent and accommodating staff, Nice room with a comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful view of the boardwalk and ocean, very reasonable rate.
Cons. Most of the hotel's facilities were closed, due to the off-season.
Pros. Upon check in, we were greeted by friendly staff, and given an upgrade to a larger room. The room was nice, very appropriate for a beach vacation. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to pier(about 15 min), but also far enough away from the massive pier crowds. We got $10 coupons (one for each day we were there) for the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was fabulous! We did have an issue that was promptly resolved with staff, and management went out of their way to accommodate us.
Cons. This in no way is the fault of the hotel, but be aware that since this hotel is located next to the beach there may be extra crowds, traffic. We had a car alarm going off several times throughout the stay. This, of course, goes along with the atmosphere of Ocean City.
