Staff and customers didn’t wear masks in lonby, the hotel listing said two queens but it was two full making sleeping arrangements awful, there was no hand soap in the bathroom in the middle of a pandemic and the bathroom and the hotel made our baby have a mold reaction. Horrible, horrible stay.
The front desk staff was not very friendly. Both of the the girls acted as though they were inconvenienced having you check is in, even though we were the only people checking in at the time.
Overall the room seemed a little "tired" and could have used some fresh paint and such. Beds were much too mushy for my liking. The barn door on the bathroom provided little privacy, and was extremely difficult to close. Bar staff was unable to make basic cocktails, including items on their own menu.
Convenient and affordable
Fairly priced. Clean rooms for the most part. Unique styling like a boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though did not bother asking how our stay was when we checked out. The on-site free shuttle was very convenient, drivers very friendly. Had a happy hour and late night cookies and milk which we missed but is a nice touch.
Rooms are very noisy - AC was rattling all night. I could hear everything going on in our neighbor's hotel room (moving hangars, flushing toilet). Windows were obviously cheap - did not keep sound from the street out whatsoever.
Everyone was super nice and helpful. The shuttle guy was super nice and accommodating.
My Experience at Magnolia
Comfortable beds - nice clean rooms - Staff very polite and helpful.
no frig in room better selection of channels on TV Little pricey More selection on menu
Grand old building. Updated bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning.
Classic Hotel, central to downtown Omaha
Wide corridors, comfy bed, tall ceilings. Good breakfast buffet, cookies at night, friendly staff
perfumy smelling lobby
The room was clean and well-appointed. Noise wasn't too bad, although there was a good bit of activity in the hallways. Bed was quite comfortable. The building itself was lovely.
The shower leaked all over the floor (obviously a design flaw, not something wrong), and that made the tile floors amazingly slippery. The breakfast was mediocre at best, although the coffee was reasonable. My partner compared it to mess hall food from his Army days.
No doors on the bathroom!
Free beer and cookies!
A sliding door to the bathroom that doesn't block any sounds. Housekeeping knocked on all the doors of my floor at 8 am in the morning every morning.
Good looking hotel
*great restaurant *good looking front lobby and courtyard *very spacious room! *nice new bathroom *comfortable bed *quiet *nice staff and service
*hallways were a little darker, but not a problem
