The car had a major starter problem. Got nowhere during hours on the phone. When I returned it I explained what had happened, i.e. took at least 8 minutes & up to 19 minutes each time I restarted it to get it to kick in. It was clearly not a battery issue. Luckily I only had to do this 5x because I rented for 24 hours to attend a funeral. when I brought it back they were completely disinterested & dismissive of my concerns. Didn't even write it down. They said it was because it was cold. Ummmmm....about 200 other cars in the parking lot after the funeral & mine the only one that wouldn't start ....Their lack of concerns seems obviously the reason I got a car that wouldn't start most of the time. Also, renting in Nebraska in January & the car did not include a scraper. Really??? You have to fly across the country with your own scraper or go buy a brand new one every time? (Which by the way would require turning the car off, so figure in another up to 19 minutes to restart it...)

Hertz did not honor the rate quoted on Kayak. The final price was considerably higher. Also, it appears their car servicing person cleaned the inside of the windshield with the same rag used to check the oil. Nearly bald tires wew also a concern.

The Rogue SUV had a very smooth ride and since I did a lot of driving, that was important. One downside on the car was that the automatic lift on the trunk didn't work. Since the trunk lid was heavy, not having the auto lift was a pain. The person at the drop-off was friendly and helpful.

It was a fast easy check in and out process. The airport situation is horrible... If you are picking someone up that is dropping off a rental you have to pay to go into the parking garage, you can't just follow them in. And it's so confusing to people that do not go to the airport often. Besides that it was excellent!

They tried charging more by adding insurance and extra fees with my knowledge and explaining the contract I was in hurry so quickly made me sign and I was on the way until I got back to return the car that’s when I found the extra free being charged but great service by refunding it back with any questions or issues

There were only 2 reps checking people in. It took over 30 minutes in line to get to a gentleman that could help me. ( He was very nice). There were at least 5 people at the kiosk at the car pick up rental level standing around. The lady checking people out at the gate, could have cared less to help anyone. She was on her phone. When I pulled up she said find the email and scan the code. I was not getting cell reception so I had to ask her how else I could get the code she was bothered and said check your text messages. Then went right back to being on her phone. The car that I ended up with had multiple small inconvenient issues. Side driver mirror didn’t adjust. The key fob was missing the front half. The key fob battery was also almost dead. I had to hold the key against the start stop bottom to get the car to start. The gentleman that checked me back in never asked how the car was only that he needed to get the mileage and then I was good to go. There was no one else checking in at the same time I checked in. Overall I was glad to have the rental car, but the rental experience has a huge amount of improvement that needs to be done.

They TWICE accepted my reservation and then days later emailed me that they didn't have the vehicle and cancelled. The second email was received when I landed! They totally screwed me, frankly. And even then, they continued to represent vehicle availability online. I spoke to the staff at the airport rental counter, and they said they are constantly overbooking vehicles. Crazy they can get away with it. Travel booking (hotel, flight, rental car, etc.) need to be reliable, and that's just not apparently the case with enterprise. Really shocking business practice, really. I suggest customers avoid them at all costs.

Not sure why a rental car company would let a person choose a pick up time for their rental car that is also the time at which they close, and then try to blame the customer when they weren't able to get there at said time due to a blizzard. Enterprise is a terrible awful horrible company with bad hours, poor customer service, no care for their customers, and no desire to fix issues that are the fault of their own poorly designed web site when they occur. Will never rent from them again. Ever.

would like to get the car make and model that I selected on my reservation. Garage pick up station closed immediately after we picked up the car keys. would have liked to be able to ask a Budget employee a question or two on car operation before we left the garage.

Compact SUV
Car had a lot of miles and smelled like smoke and chemicals. Needed to use a lot of Lysol and aired it out for several hours to mitigate the smell. Cloth seats were clean but stained.
