Pros: Across the street from the Children's Museum, walking distance to the Aquarium, close to restaurants and shops. Great views from the rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: The pool heater broke the day we arrived. My children were most excited about swimming! They allowed us to swim in their sister hotel down the street which was very nice. It could not be helped but it was disappointing not being able to use the pool in our own hotel.

Pros: Great location within walking distance of good food, the aquarium and some shops. Extremely clean, room even smelled new. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing, we liked everything.
Pros: Great clean place to stay. Everything was new and the staff was very friendly and nice.
Cons: I was not informed that valet parking was the only option at this hotel. It is expensive (14 bucks a night).

Cons: The fact I could hear everything happening in the hallway including to kids playing some game at 7:30 am on a Sunday and one guest continually knocking on another guests door while saying housekeeping at least 20 times in two morning.
Pros: Location to downtown was great
Cons: Staff complained to each other in front of guests, room was small and even though it was a corner room, it only had 1 window. Only 2 elevators for 15 floors and its shared by the staff (no freight elevators) so wait times were bad. Check-in time was 3pm but room was not ready until 3:45pm. Overall it was "ok" but not what I expect from a DoubleTree.
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: The bar and pool close way to early.

Cons: It was really expensive (150 for one night) and didnt even include parking which was another 8 dollars per day.
Didnt realize their was a hostel in town in a better location and much cheaper.
Pros: Attractive Hotel
Cons: Very expensive for the small room we had.
Very loud facility - room right by elevators and ice machine and constant foot traffic and loud staff members.
The entire hotel was filled with a conference and we were placed in amongst them - many of the facilities were used by the conference.
After a late night with lots of loud disturbances we were awoken just after 5 am and forced to evacuate the building. After standing outside for a half hour we were given no explanation on why we had to evacuate other than the 6 fire engines that pulled up - then left shortly after.
I'm sure it's a fine hotel - but we just didn't have a good experience.
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff.
Cons: Being charged for parking.
Cons: I don't believe after paying over $200 a night, we should have to also pay $8 a day to park our vehicle. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working very well.
Pros: Friendly staff, a number of good restaurants nearby, convenient to battlefields
Pros: Lobby and rooms were well decorated. The hotel is in close proximity to Warehouse Row and about a mile from the Aquarium and arts district. Kids loved the indoor pool even if it was small.
Cons: The hotel could have been somewhat cheaper. We didn't eat here because the prices were just as high or more than top restaurants in town. The shower pressure was obnoxiously strong. We stood in a pool of water because it couldn't drain fast enough. Rooms are nice but a bit tight for a whole family.
Pros: This was a nice hotel, very beautiful on the inside. Great music in the bar room. Valet was super nice.
Cons: Our shower had very low water pressure and as a female with long hair, this took forever And was very comfortable . also the shower was clogged so we took showers in a filled bath. When they said they would come fix it right away I thought they meant within the hour, but instead it took about 3-4 hours for the person to show up. By this time we had gone out to eat, and have drinks, go back to the room and start getting ready for bed by the time he showed. The hotel said they couldn't do anything for us because we had gone through price line to get our room, which I have never heard that one before. Room rates were overpriced in my opinion, stayed at a cheap motel that has been the same if not better.
Pros: Great facilities and excellent staff. Indoor pool was key for Spring Break.
Cons: Was not very close to main attractions in the city and not in a very good part of the neighborhood. Not the best place to walk with young children.
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: Small rooms for the price......
Paying to park...
Pros: Room was clean and in good shape. Good size tub and shower. Attractive fire pit outside. Door staff was friendly.
Cons: The garage's lighting was either mostly lacking or not working when we were there. Coffee in the room was poor.
Cons: Overpriced. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Average at best.
Pros: The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Having the sauna, steam room and pool/hot tub included with the stay made the price of the hotel worth it. Live music and a fireplace in the lobby made the evening relaxing. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The staff at the spa was not up to par. I have a medical condition and called a week in advance to ask about setting up a spa package that would accommodate my needs. None of my three calls were returned. As for the hotel's restaurant, The Broad Street Grille, was overpriced and the wait staff was terrible. We walked out before ordering because we waiteds so long for service.

Pros: I found the Hampton Inn Chattanooga/Hixson clean and well kept, I had very pleasant interactions with the employees. Nice finish to the bathroom, easy access to bedside plug ins to charge all my gadgets. I arrived at a late hour after a delayed flight and I was able to make it into a comfortable bed with minimal hassle. I didn't have an opportunity to put the internet speed to a test and it was too late to enjoy the coffee that was ready in the lobby if I wanted it. I did utilize the nice microwave in the room and I did have an opportunity to enjoy the papaya and pineapple with my breakfast. I wish all my stays went like this one.
Cons: There was nothing I found to my dislike.

Pros: It was a nice but older hotel that has been renovated well as far as I can tell. Very nice for the price point!
Pros: I liked everything; I had a great stay!!!!!!
When visiting Cleveland, Douglas Inn And Suites is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy the fitness center, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and mountain biking are nearby. Rooms at this Mediterranean motel feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: It's not like other holiday inn express hotels that are nice. It was kind of dirty And my husband had to clean the shower drain just to get water to go down it was so nasty!!! Also- the breakfast is mostly all microwaved food like microwaved eggs, bIscuits ect. The pool was so gross you couldn't see the bottom and it was freezing. Who doesn't have a heated indoor pool? It was so cold my kids couldn't swim
Cons: The front staff were nice.
Pros: Clean room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Perfect location near Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga.
Cons: I feel like I overpaid for this type of hotel, but I had little options on a week's notice.

Pros: Breakfast was great - a lot of options! And Jeffrey at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful!
Cons: Bed was just ok, not the most comfortable.
Pros: Overall the hotel was nice. My only issue, of which is minor, was that they charge you to park on hotel property. Thought that was just a nickel and dime fee. Besides that, no complaints. Great hotel.
Cons: In making a reservation, you expect not to have to wait to get the room you reserved. I had to wait over an hour and a half past check-in time for the room to be cleaned.
Pros: Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Close to downtown so we were able to walk to most locations for dinner and drinks which was very nice. Close to aquarium, ballpark.
Cons: Had to tell the maid to service the room. Elevator made weird noises so we took the stairs.

Pros: Great location if you have a scheduled event at the convention center. Good amenities.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Man at check in was working on computer and told me to what a minute. After several minutes (5-7), when a supervisor came out of the back and asked if I needed help, he then stopped what he was doing to help me.
Pros: The staff was very helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Nice place with friendly staff. The grab and go free breakfast worked out well.
Cons: Room had 1 bed and sleeper sofa.
Pros: We liked the breakfast buffet with fruit! We liked the cookies at the checkin.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order.
Pros: Would stay here again was very clean nice lunch at breakfast would recommend it to anyone else
Pros: The staff were soooo kind and accommodating!! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved the room and that they had an indoor pool. I can't say enough about the kind staff and cleanliness though:)
Pros: The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and polite at all times. There were many things available like a 24 hour mini store for things you need or forgot today pack. The breakfast was included and actually had an excellent selection.
Cons: Painfully slow elevator. The finishes are still nice and clean but the patterns are dated. The bathroom in the room I was in had a broken and badly repaired shower wall. The air conditioner was a standard hotel air conditioner that is very efficient at cooling, but they do a bad job of drying out the room.

Pros: Overall rating: 90 out of 100. Clean sheets. Nice decor/furnishings. Comfy bed. Great downtown/central location. Friendly staff.
Cons: The A/C thermostat was a little confusing with the words "Save" and "Set" both being used for two different things. Tub had a small chunk out of it (1-2 inch oval shape gash) where someone must have wacked it with a hammer or something, so cosmetically it took away from the otherwise updated look of the room.
Pros: Excellent service and close to everything downtown
Pros: The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! Our room was cleaned every day and we were given plenty of towels. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are planning on taking advantage of all downtown has to offer. We were not traveling with children but it would be the perfect location to stay with kids. The hotel had a pool, fitness center and steps away from the aquarium, discovery center, rock climbing, and river. We plan to come back to visit Chattanooga and stay at the Hilton. Extra bonus- parking was included! We parked our car at check in and never used it until we left.
Cons: The AC unit was loud and they did not have a safe in the room.
Pros: Pool was nice and warm for the kids, the location was awesome- right next to the museum and a very short wall to the aquarium. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was nice ($10 per adult, kids 6 and under free).
We used roomservice one night for dinner because our infant was too tired to go out. Very convenient and very good. The staff was always SO helpful
Cons: Parking was $8 per day, and the overflow lot was across the street in a parking garage.
The first room we checked in to was nice, but someone had used the restroom and CLOGGED THE TOILET (gross!!!!) before we even got in there. The front desk was going to send someone to clean it right away, but 30 mns later we gave up waiting and asked for another room. Overall the room was 'clean-ish'. But when I check into a hotel, I really expect it to be VERY CLEAN.
Pros: The sink worked
Cons: Whirlpool nasty / walkin shower did not work / I took my wife on a date once a month we do something different, suite w/ balcony hotel was very disappointing , an pricee, Marriott next time . Cleaning lady should have know shower was broke / filled the whirlpool up cut it on black dirt came out of jets,

Pros: Very well maintained. I've stayed at hotels that cost hundreds of $$ more that were not this nice. Breakfast buffet was well stocked. Friendly staff. Easy on/off the freeway. Great price from Kayak!
Cons: Didn't like that I could only stay there one night.
Pros: Very happy with staff and hotel. Nice location for us, didn't want to stay in heart of Chattanooga with the traffic. Blake at front desk was extremely nice and helpful when Kayak mixed up our reservation. Thanks for a very nice stay and we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Clean, convenient, friendly staff. Pool available. Good breakfast bar.
Cons: Room smelled musty because the carpet was wet from dripping air conditioner. Humidity in room was high. Bed and pillows lumpy.
Pros: The man running breakfast kept that food stocked well with a huge crowd.
Pros: Friendly Staff, hot breakfast, clean room, updated decor, easy parking. quick of highway
Cons: Didn't get pull out couch in our room that was included in the description, needed extra sleeping space for add'l people.
Pros: The staff was friendly, the room and facilities were clean, and the atmosphere was nice. I was very happy with the location to Chatanooga and the parking was great. Would defiantly recommend this place for anyone needing accommodations for a night
Pros: Location very close to I-75; well appointed room.
Cons: We arrived around 7 PM, on a cold evening. Temperature in the room was about 60 degrees, and the room heater took a couple of hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature. No excuse for this - I would have expected hotel staff to recognize that the room was booked, and to have the room properly heated when we arrived. Also - although the hotel looked to have a couple of hundred rooms, it appeared (from cars in the parking lot) that they had less than 10 rooms occupied. We were in a room at the furthest end of a bottom floor, about as far as possible from the lobby and front desk; felt very isolated and a bit spooky. Do not think that we'll return.

Cons: The room was nice and clean but the heat would not go above 68 degrees. We froze considering it was snowing and in the 30's outside!
Pros: They upgraded our room without us asking. They were very helpful with recommendations for breakfast. The pool and fitness center were clean and a nice amenity for the hotel. I would absolutely return.
Cons: The bathroom was small but clean. It is to be expected from a historic hotel.
Cons: Charming interior and comfortable bed, but not very clean and shows its age.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful, extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Pros: It's a beautiful historic place.
Cons: It's difficult to get around the separate towers. The pool area should be promoted more.
Pros: location downtown was great for our weekend to see and do things around Chattanooga. We saw 2 outdoor concerts in the evening and really enjoy the atmosphere of downtown.
Cons: No mini refrigerator in the room. Other than that the room, staff and hotel was excellent.
Pros: The decor and carved wood is remarkable!
Pros: I was getting engaged and the staff did absolutely nothing to make it special or give me their time of day to help with improving my moment. Definitely don't expect anything more than a room key from the staff or their attention.
Cons: I would have expected the staff to be a little more accommodating, but they are definitely not a 4star staff. This hotel has all the potential to be a better hotel, but the staff and no fridge in the room makes it 3 stars.
Pros: Location/Pillows/Check-in staff
Cons: Poor service from valet staff. Constantly locked out of room. Hair on bed/pillows. Dated decor.
Pros: Excellent friendly staff.
Cons: room was small
Pros: Everything, the hotel was great. Felt like I was in the 1930s.

Pros: Bed was comfortable, location was good, and the price was very affordable!
Cons: Breakfast food wasn't very good!
Pros: The staff was incredibly nice
Cons: The room was musty and the bed and pillows were unbelievably uncomfortable. There were people out in the hall and upstairs yelling and talking loud late into the night.
Pros: Only stayed one night. But the staff recommended a place for dinner.
Cons: Apple juice smelled and tasted like vinegar at the breakfast .

Cons: Wrong room. Then then rooming booked was sold out AC didn't work so they had a bring us a box fan. The bath tub would get clogged up and we would be up to our ankles when taking a shower. A nice hotel for the price, then you have to pay for the breakfast. Will not be going back

Cons: Room smelled funny, pool deck falling apart, bathroom dirty.
Pros: Seaff. The Shower.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast in the bistro ($20 breakfast for $10 when purchased in advance with room).
Cons: Somehow my room number was charged for a dinner we didn't have. The staff initially disputed this but eventually removed the charge. Also no elevator is a pain but not a huge deal.

Pros: It was new and clean. Restaurant and bar were good, service very friendly.
Cons: Internet didn't work, dead plug in the wall. The Internet was a significant annoyance for a company that seems to mostly entertain business travel.
Pros: We loved the staff especially Jade our server in the bar/restaurant. She was amazing and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and recently updated.
Cons: The reason we paid slightly more for Holiday Inn over other hotels was for the bar and restaurant. The restaurant was out of everything. It had no chicken, no salmon, half the menu was unavailable. The bar only served beer. I don't drink beer. I wanted a nice glass of wine after 10 hours of driving and to go up to my room. We didn't even chance the rest of our meals there. Which was the point of reserving at Holiday Inn. We are driving across the East Coast and we got a different hotel that was $40 cheaper and the room was just as nice with no bar and no restaurant.
Pros: Easy check in, need comfy
Cons: No parking, room smelled like mold, horrible pillows
Pros: Needed to check my wife in early so I could do business for a few hours and allow her to relax. You could not have been more accommodating.
Cons: Empty! No dislikes. But, did see several Fall bugs visiting the room. No big deal for us.
