In town for one night. Very clean, easy to find, plenty of restaurants close by, very friendly, will stay there again.
The room size was great. The staff was vey accommodating. The food was the only thing that was not on the same level as the rest of the facility. And unfortunately the pool was not heated which ruled out a late swim.
Location was hard to beat. Checking in was a challenge. We actually walked into occupied rooms of two other people. Thankfully we knew one of them but the other one was well....lets just say it was probably hard to tell who was more embarrassed. They need to do a review of their check in policies but I recommend you bolt and secure your room from the inside. I got an unexpected eyeful.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The place was clean, well kept and everything in our room worked, we did not try the coffee maker but I liked that it was a Keurig. The location was good for my needs. The road construction right in front is a bit tricky in the beginning, but once you figure out the exit to the side street it is much easier to navigate. I too was very disappointed that the breakfast was not included as I was expecting it to. The breakfast inclusion was one of the reasons I choose the Garden Inn in the first place. Also disappointing was that the pool and hot tub were not working either. After long days of training I was looking forward to that. We gave up asking about when the pool was going to be fixed, no one seemed to know. I would give a much higher rating if the pool had worked and the free breakfast was actually free.

Convenient to downtown and dining options. Top floor room air was very weak barely kept room at 75 degrees, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the breakfast options were over priced.
The place had just been through a natural disaster but you couldn't tell at all. Friendly staff and I brought my dogs, so the pet friendly policy was my favorite par. Pretty sure the band Phish was there nutty I can't say for certain. Definitely saw Chris Kuroda mulling about. Good times. More cowbell please.

Professionalism from all front of the house staff. Pet friendly!!! Superb dine-in experience. Great room configuration with a view. Fitness center free weights and resistance machines were great. While I've always respected the Hyatt brand and been a guest several time I've been a long-time Marriott member because of the range, and availability, of brands they offer. I may need to reconsider my loyalty after this latest visit. I secured two rooms to accommodate my parents, sister, me and my wife after a very long day at the Mayo clinic. Turned out to be just what the "doctor ordered" for all parties. My wife encountered a front desk staff member with a poor attitude during the night shift around 3am. She observed the young lady interact with several guests in a way that indicated she clearly did not want to be there or be helpful.
Staff was excellent. I booked the wrong room type and the helped me correct it immediately. Top notch customer service at the by the bellmen, and front desk.
The staff was very nice, and the room was very clean. they let us choose which view we wanted, and what floor we were on There wasn't anything really "special" about the hotel. I didn't appreciate having to pay for parking when I was already spending that much money per night. The food was overpriced for what it was - go to one of the restaurants in the landing and you will get better food for the same price.

The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond. They are amazing at what they do. The hotel gift shop is very over priced. $5.50 for one water. There isn't anything to do other then the pool and the beach is 30 minutes away. Not too far but still have to get there especially if you choose not to rent a car and pay their $15 per day charge to park it there. Restaurant food is good, but limited selections. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana because the AST sorority girls were having an event there and were smoking all night in their rooms. Staff were very quick to try to stop it and spray the hallways and rooms. The event floors are very large and theres a lot of event rooms to choose from with a mail room up there and business center. Beautiful hotel, but expensive and kind of boring other then the bars inside because the location. Expensive necessities. Expensive parking. Restaurant menu is very limited. Walk way that goes through the hotel outside behind the restaurant I believe is where it's located, has no lighting. The Wifi sucks horribly. Constant disconnecting even the people that paid for extra wifi had problems.

Sheets and towels. Fast service even late at night. Asked for toothpaste and security girl was up in literally two minutes. The sliding glass door actually opened up for fresh air. Shower tub instead of walk-in. Sink didn't drain well.
The bed No vending machines/there were signs pointing to where they weren't. Hotel 2 years old: old fashioned air conditioner that barely worked, difficult blinds to use. Everything was bare bones. More amenities @Motel 6. Staff putting the hitel down. It was like they ran out of money when building.
Great location for us: near to where I want and between Jacksonville and Beaches, with decent mall and eateries very near by. Opaque rate offered was very good. TV channels via Xfinity were quite good. Staff, esp. breakfast, seem to be eager and friendly. Facilities are getting aged with lack up maintenance. E.g.,: room carpet was old and wrinkled to a degree, my wife almost tripped several times. - Safety concern. (Work) Table is very small and inadequate. Small alarm clock was unplugged (for reason) resetting the time is near impossible. Complimentary Hot and Cold breakfast were very basic, compared to national chain brands, say Hamptons, HI Express, etc.
Accomodations were nice although our room was canary yellow with no pictures on the walls and a lack of decorating. Thdy need to retrain thd cleaning crew as our room didnt look like it had been vacuumed at all. Overall, it was worth the price we paid. Lack of attention to housekeeping
Didn't Jacuzzi didn't work, tub didn't hold water. Room never cleaned the whole time we stayed. When we arrived the A/c filter was caked up with dust and dirt and they didn't offer us to another room. They're maintenance guy wouldn't be in until next day so we had to sleep in that room with dirty air filter. The a/c struggled and the room was musty. After the filter was cleaned the a/c worked better. Lock on out side of door was in disarray. The second night lock wouldn't work had to have the cards redone. Breakfast was worse then I think prisoners in jail eat. We were asked in the morning hot or cold. We requested hot and the only question they asked was our room number. Other tables were given choices very little but they were asked. The food was rationed like they were going out of business. I could go on but this hotel ruined our family trip. I was sick feeling all day Sunday. I have requested a refund but there has been no assistance with this request.
I like the whole concept of this hotel but it really needs some attention paid to keeping it maintained. Seriously needs better quality pillows. Both lifts at pool and hot tub were not operable. In our room the only toiletries were 1 small size bar of soap and 1 lotion. Definitely glad I bring my own or would have had to go to a store. Just looked like management needs to pay more attention to the little things and or owners need to invest in a little tlc.

Neat and the staff are courteous. The so call hot breakfast was not so hot but cold. Limited menu.
Poor greeting upon entry. Was given a filthy room. Went back down for new room. Same thing. Another filthy room. 'X' came up to let me into the second room ('X' is really the staff person's name) and it was almost as bad as the first. 'X' told me to wait and someone would be back up. Wel, after standing up eating my dinner and waiting a total of 15 minutes I went back down stairs and left the hotel. The hotel still billed me even though after speaking with 'X' he said he couldn't waive the charges, but I got the fact the manager could and 'X' said they'd have charges removed. They didn't. American Express is working to fix a four night billed stayed from this miserable thing called a hotel. I didn't want to spend another minute there. I didn't like anything at all.
The rooms where okay- the breakfast was awful. It was either hot or cold choices- and hardly enough to fill up a six year old. All the room service did was give us new towels.
For the price of this hotel it was well worth it. A built in jacuzzi in the bath tub was an nice and interesting experience. Nothing looked like it needed any type of renuvation anytime soon. The breakfast is free but somewhat unorganized. They should just make it a buffet style. The servers wandering around trying to figure out who's order was taken and not taken was laughable. Many people's time was being wasted. It's as if they are trying something new and going through the phase where they are figuring out it doesn't work very well.

The location of the hotel was great since we came in town to see the Christmas tree lighting and boat parade. The room was set up nicely,enjoyed the large bathroom and flat screen tv We booked a handicap accessible room and were put in a regular deluxe room. The air conditioner froze at 1:00am and the maintenance man had to bring a fan to the room. The sheets on one of the beds had a huge dried blood stain. Requested a chair for the shower and it took 6 hours to get it. The cost of the items in the mini fridge are a joke $4.50 for a can of soda.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic.
The only issue I had was that the front desk could not locate a key for the mini fridge so that we could use it.
No helped is with our luggage when we arrived. Had to load, unload and wheel logguge cart ourselves. Someone's used razor left in shower. Used coffee cup in KIERIG machine. When leaving the next morning, there was a luggage valet guy and we were told that we HAD to use him instead of using the luggage cart ourselves. He loaded our luggage and took it outside, where he abandoned it on the curb and walked away. My fiancé was getting the car (we were instructed to park in next door lot instead of parking deck bc we were traveling with a kayak in top and was too big for garage heighth). While I'm standing by our luggage still sitting on rolling Cart outside of hotel, a valet guy pulls up a car then backs it up directly in front of me. I asked him if he could pull forward since my fiancé was pulling in right behind him. Instead of being helpful or moving the car, instead he just shrugged his shoulders and went to get another car. So we had to park on the other side and load all of our luggage ourselves (although plenty of staff seemed to be around except the actually luggage valet that we foolishly already gave a $15 tip too.! Very rude people here!
Only valet parking offered. The parking lot next to the hotel, which was not affiliated with Omni, was supposed to be $10/day max but we were charged $20 each morning when we were leaving the lot because "the time resets at midnight, therefore you are charged $10 till 12:00am and then $10 for this morning". The thermostat in our room did not work correctly. We reported it to the front desk, but upon our return to our room that evening we noticed that someone changed our fan setting from "auto" to "high" but the thermostat still did not read correctly and never cooled properly.
Very pleasant to deal with, quick valet. All of the staff were very nice and respectful when dealing with customers. You felt as if they were all there to serve just you. Local points of interest aren't far at all either Everything was perfect
Great hotel in a great location. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was much better than expected from a hotel. The cocktail menu was fun and surprisingly creative. The rooms at the Omni were very clean and well appointed. The guys were great, but valet parking is just annoying.

The lobby is large and inviting. The rooms are a good size except for the bathroom. The bathroom is extremely small. The hallways are dark and musty. But when those renovations are done will be glad to stay there again.
It was dirty. There was a crack in the ceiling with apparent water damage. The hotels in the area were sold out and guests left with no other options. Disappointing. Shouldn't even be allowed to have guests. Seems like their renovation has been going on for years.
We did not like that online photos showed renovated rooms while they put us in a non-renovated room.

Good location with hotel shuttle to Veterans Memorial Stadium for $6. once renovations are completed, could be a very nice hotel. Shower did not drain very quickly. I was standing ankle deep in water while taking a 10 min. shower. My view was of the roof and air conditioning units. Have to pay $10 to self park or $12 for valet parking per night.
Location is awesome. Staff is great. Bar and restaurant were pretty good and convienient. Air conditioner worked but was extremely loud I would chug every 5 to 10 seconds and pull you out of sleep. Soon as at turned off you could get about 30 mins of sleep before it cut back on. One of the biggest weekends in Jacksonville for tailgating or people needing ice you would have thought they would have had more than one operational. I was on the 4th floor and had to go exploring and after checking 5 other broken ice machines I found one that worked. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay to self park. Why would you charge someone to park at your hotel that already paid to stay there? If your gonna charge $20 for parking probably should be all valet.
Location When we got there the room had a moldy smell and it had a humidifier on like if the room had been flooded and recently dried. We complained and they acknowledged the smell and gave us another room ruby away, but my question is WHY put someone in that room in the first place? With plenty available rooms. That left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The location was excellent and very quiet. They served a very good breakfast. I had requested a room for two adults and when I arrived they only had a room with a double bed which was not adequate for two people. My friend had to stay with friends in another hotel.
Customer service was excellent! Not an inviting entrance, had a pull door instead of an automatic door. Felt like I was entering a side door. Breakfast was lacking selections. T.V. Not working in lobby, couldn't watch the news while eating breakfast.

For the money, this was an excellent value. The room was very clean and staff was pleasant. Although the breakfast was a little on the skimpy side, I didn't mind one bit as I only paid $67 for the room including tax.
Free airport shuttle and parking while at airport
The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was close to the airport. Check-in was quick and easy and I was offered a complimentary bottle of water. Upon leaving I was offered a shuttle to the airport. There is an issue with the doors in this hotel. When someone lets their door close, it slams behind them. I was there about 8 hours and must've heard 100 doors slam. It was impossible to sleep over the noise. I even turned the air conditioner on the setting to run constantly in an attempt to block out the noise but it didn't help much. The juice in the juice (at breakfast) machine was warm and breakfast was overprocessed food. There were no close restaurants. There were no lamps in the room, only harsh, bright overhead lighting.
Location was great, a mile from the airport. The room was clean. Overall very impressed and wish we had our room for more than just one night. The room is small but we are used to that because we live in New York! Pretty sure that is to be expected though. Loved our stay
Location The next morning after check out the three of us had a rash on our face. It could've been the detergent they used to wash sheets but other than that the stay was okay. Sink was clogged but staff quickly came to resolve problem.

We stayed a night before our cruise. The hotel offered a free shuttle from and to the airport. It also shuttled us around to a shopping center which included Wal-Mart, shopping centers such as Ross, Old Navy, ect. which was conveniently a mile and a half down the road. The front desk was very helpful, drivers very friendly, and overall a wonderful place to stay. Not to mention the price was awesome! The shuttle also shuttled us to the cruise port for a $16 round trip fee. Which was much cheaper than a taxi! No complaints at all.

Close to airport and I-95 Breakfast was a disaster, little food like cereal, milk, and juice put out, people grabbing and cutting in line, only a couple of tables to sit at, and about 25 people trying to eat standing up and juggling cereal bowls back to their rooms in the elevator since there were not enough tables. No employees around to help monitor the chaos. Room was very noisy. I woke up several times to ask people in the hall to please be quiet. Upon arrival, I signed a promise not to smoke or bring a pet, but there was a dog barking all night in the room across the hall, and the family next door had their TV blasting all night, followed by slamming doors. Our bathroom had a smoke odor coming in the bathroom vent, so I think there were smokers in the other side of our room. Seemed more like a temporary residence, with no enforcement of rules.
It was quiet Maid knocked on door at 10 am. Don't wake me up early.
Ease of proximity to concert events; Like being in the building with a major restaurant which is always first-class...Ruth Chris... Suggest you consider a shuttle bus (perhaps WITH a small pay rate) both "to and from" major concerts which happen quite often. That would be a perk for your hotel, and it it were a "reservation only" situation, then that would be fine...That would top having to hail a cab or other options which can be kind of stressful. Close to the mall The Service, The filthy room, The attitude and Gettoness of Shena (Front Desk), The lack of accommodation. I aRrived in my room to find the floor filthy and sticky. My feet were blaCk after spending one afternoon in the room. I asked housekeeping if they could please vacuum my room. They said no because they were short staffed. After 4 days I went to the front desk and spoke to Shena who gave me attitude when I said that I would like my room vacuumed. She also told me I had to be there for 2 weeks before my room would be cleaned. I explained that I expected a room to be clean the day of my move in not 2 weeks later. She ignored me afTer that point as she just gave her attention to the next person in line. NEVER WILL I STAY HER AGAIN!!!

I liked the room with the kitchenette and large bathroom. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was good for the price of the room. I booked through Expedia, but the check in staff said she couldn't find the confirmation in the system, so I ended up getting charged twice for the room. Plus, the deposit didn't get returned to my bank as promised.

It was our last day at the hotel and we had just finished breakfast. We stayed there with our four month old daughter. We left the hotel and drove away. We got to the target down the street and saw that my daughter had soiled her diaper up to her armpits. We raced (safely) back to the hotel (I of course introduced myself and said I was previously staying in the hotel) and i simply told them that my four month old had soiled her diaper horribly and I need to enter the room again to wash my baby in the tub. They understood completely and gave me the room key to my previous room. Even though this occurred before check out, my family and I were truly blessed by their helpful attitude. N/A

The lobby smelt like a urinal cake. They gave us a room that was an old smoking room. When I addressed it the desk clerk said all the rooms smelt like that. The second room smelt musty and the ac was barely working. The knobs were falling off the ac. The shower head was old and dirty. The pool is lit up at night with several spot lights creating a bright light shining into the room even with the curtains closed. Rec room was closed and was filled with hotel debris. Don't go here. It is not a 3 star hotel!

If you want a good night sleep don't stay here. I checked in and while unpacking I heard lots of noises from nearby rooms so I decided to get another room in a different part of the hotel but didn't help at night the constant noises from doors slamming and having a comedy club on premises doesn't help with late night shows. So I had to check out early from lack of sleep and will never return or recommend this hotel.

Openeess, secure facility for a family. The courtyard where the very nice pool area was would be great for a family. It is spread out, rooms are not on top of it. Aged interiors. Because I need silence to fall asleep, the older AC system wss not quiet with m enough for me. But I'm picky about noise.
The AC Unit couldn't get the room cooler than 78 degrees. Even though the rooms are non smoking, people would just smoke right outside their room. This would result in rooms being filled with the stench of smoke. For a 5 month old and a woman who can't stand smoke to the point of vomiting we will not be staying at that Ramada inn again.

The renovated rooms were nice, and the bed was comfy. The room was small. The hallways looked very old, and my keycard didn't work. We tried new keys and the master key at 2am and almost didn't get back into my room even though there was someone in the adjoining room. We lucked out and one attempt opened the door.
Great staff! Decent old rooms. The fact that the only rooms that were available for cheap were the third floor rooms that smelled like wet ashtrays. It was 1am, I had a young child and I was tired from driving. I took the room for the night but was entirely positive that I wouldn't return. Ever.
Waffle house in walking distance. I've already reviewed this hotel on my last stay. I'll just repeat that if you want to check in at 2:59pm, be ready to pay $25 early check in fee. Check in is at 3pm, not a second earlier.

Room was very clean. Close to airport, we just needed to catch an early flight out the next morning, so it worked for us. Rate was okay for what it was, it definitely should not be more. Room was very very tiny. Towels were threadbare, they need to be thrown out and replaced.

Almost nothing. There is a Waffle House in walking distance. No check in early unless you want to pay $25 extra. Even if they have a clean room waiting for you, no check in early. My son and I got there at 1pm, no check in early. We slept on their couch until they let get our room. Would not recommend. Only reason I'm back is because I had already paid for the room along with my cruise. Too bad staff can only do what Mgr says. Makes no sense to have room ready sitting empty. I understand if they had housekeeping to clean a room for you, but I was told by the staff my room was already cleaned, but I couldn't get in until 3pm. They weren't kidding.

Location was very close to where I needed to be. The room was the smallest I have ever seen. The bed was full size instead of Queen. No closet in the room. It was a shelf in the wall with no hangers on it. Towels were filthy. Wanted to check in at 2:25 when I arrived in town, but was told there is a $25 early checking fee for anytime before 3pm. Asked for a larger room and said it was an additional fee for changing rooms.

I was there at 9:00 Am (ends at 10:00 AM) and there should have been food available, especially the coffee dispenser level which should have been monitored regularly! They charge $6.99, however I received a free ticket for the breakfast at check in. Glad I did not pay for it! Did not sleep very well as I was situated near some mechanical room and keeping waking up from the noises it produced.

I loved The fact that there was a bar on premises and that they had amazing food... The bar staff was awesome very helpful That the bar closed at 10 o'clock
There were lots of little things that needed to be fixed. Lots of tiny eyesores like water fountains missing things, power strip on the pool deck, leaking water faucet, leaking something upstairs dropping on bathroom ceiling... Faucet dripped one cup of water an hour. Could hear all night. AC went out around 4am, hot room by 10 am.
Great and responsive staff, location near some of the best food in Jax. Elevators were in poor repair with expired certifications, and the included breakfast was pretty disappointing.
Our stay here was great, it was a clean and spacious room. The bed was comfortable and clean! They have a great policy in that you will be charged $200 if caught smoking in the room, so as you could imagine the room had no stinky smoke smell. Of course the room was the best experience but not to far was the continental breakfast provided with your stay, there was no need to upgrade to the full breakfast bar as the continental food was sufficient for a full hardy breakfast! Wifi was slow! Tried to watch Netflix but it kept freezing up!
Had a great two night stay close to major express way. My room was clean and staff was exceptional. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left.

The woman who was in charge of the breakfast was so incredibly sweet to my son and family. Room was easy to access on the end and we could use the side doorBreakfast had a lot to offer. More than most, I believe. Great location for what I specifically needed access to. Pool closed too early. Unpainted bathroom ceiling above shower. Bathroom could be much cleaner.
I have stayed in numerous aloft hotels, this one was by far the poorest in cleanliness. I was uncomfortable walking around my room without shoes on.
With its problems it seems to have done a lot. It's staff is friendly and the food bar remained open during the power outage Last nights there I noticed the ware on the beds head board and than at night I noticed a coackroach. Might be due to the lights auto turning off every minute which as green as it is most pest are nocturnal.
online ane the pics suggest a hotel that is much nicer, the bed was very uncomfortable, wall paper was already coming up on the walls the room was rather small, didn't like the layout of the room, and the price I thought was way out of proportion to the hotel and location. I would never go back to another aloft hotel.
