Really cool space with lots to do. Private room was VERY nice. We had a comfortable bed, very clean space, and a projector with a pull down screen (very cool, never seen in a hostel/hotel room before). Nice views from the rooftop bar. Great location. Wish we stayed longer!
We weren’t informed the pool was closed, which we were looking forward to using. We went up with towels and swimsuits and felt a bit dumb that no one told us it was out of order
The rooftop bar is great. So is breakfast and the rooms look pretty cool.
Very noisy at times, private rooms with shared bathrooms do not have a window, not mentioned anywhere and from the three times we stayed there, the water pressure in the shower was so low, no way to rinse my hair after shampoo. It was literally dripping at times. Strangely enough the water pressure was good at the communal shower.
The location was great and staff were really wonderful (so helpful!). The majority of the common areas were enjoyable places to spend time (the space on level 3, the shared workplace, the reception area) - the notable exception was the rooftop pool which was crowded and made more so by the fact that on two of the three days we were there, a significant portion of the pool area had been sectioned off for private events.
The room was terrible - it was far too small to accommodate two people and their bags. We had about 0.5 meters on one side of the bed and 1m on the other side, with 20cm at the base of the bed - meaning that it was not a comfortable experience. The room was also sandwiched between two corridors, and had no open windows, which meant that we had to run the air conditioning constantly (and unfortunately, there was a funky smell with the air conditioning). The bathroom situation was also terrible - there were four shared bathrooms on our floor, which wouldn't have been enough for the number of people using the shared facilities, however, one of the bathroom doors didn't lock which meant that the other three bathrooms were extremely overused. The shower curtain had so much mould on it that it was difficult to imagine when it was last cleaned, there was a collection of half-used toiletry items on top of the shower head that had been there for god knows how long, and the corners of the showers were collections of filth (which happens when multiple people use a single bathroom, however, the frequency of the cleaning ought to have been proportionate to the demand on these facilities). The bathroom closest to our room was also without toilet paper for over 24 hours, and on the day we arrived the bin in that bathroom was close to overflowing.
Everything specially the location, good vibe and the amazing friendly panameños staff
Unfortunately, they don’t have steamer even one single iron for costumers and the shared bathroom for costumers in a private room was really bad. The cleaning, the aspect of the ceiling, the smell... One day I went in 4 of them on my floor and all they had some problem to fix, like the door doesn't lock, flush doesn't work, the toilet was moving when you sit. Overall everything was fine but they should take care better of the restrooms.
The location, all the activities like the free tour around casco viejo, live music, the desing of the room and of selina. Is a place that invite you to stay more
