Room was very well organized and the setup was really subtle and efficient. There were clean towels and the bed was also very comfortable. There were quite a few restaurants in the locality, which allowed us more choices to eat and walk.
We didn't know that the reception was on the first floor, which caused a slight confusion when we reached the property. Other than that, everything went very smoothly.
Worst hotel ever!!!!! Breakfast was poor and horrible. The staff pretended to understand English but they actually didn’t. They misunderstood us when we wanted to extend the stay and then treated us like we were homeless people. The receptionist who dealt with our problem was rude and unprofessional. It was their fault by misunderstanding what we said but they did not even apologise for it. We emailed the hotel to complain about our problem but they haven’t replied to us yet. Again, the most horrible hotel in the world!!!!!!
Room was fine
Not the best location
Room was compact with everything you needed for a long weekend. Clean with comfortable large bed. Friendly front of house staff. Ideal 10 minute walk to the Zenith concert venue and Parc de Villette which has a lovely canal to walk along very popular with locals . Hoche itself is lacking in traditional French restaurants up the main high street is mainly fast food , however if you turn right under the moterway bridge you will find a more of the traditional restaurants,. We went to a couple of the local Tabacs and were made welcome.
There was a slight smell of drains on occasion when you had been out of the room all day , but it did disappear after you were back in and using the sinks etc.
Perfect little appartement confortable to stay for a while.
No washing machine. No room service included, meaning there is a fee for cleaning or getting extra towels.
