Pros: Spacious functional room with well-equipped kitchen, great work space and a very comfortable bed. Nice and clean.
Cons: Only weekly room service. At the high price for short-stay guests, it would be fairer to include a continental breakfast and faster front desk service. I was told we could buy breakfast, but all they had was a small room with unhealthy and expensive preserved pastries and snacks sealed in packets. Checkout took 20 minutes, because there was only one front desk person who was handling a long and difficult negotiation about rates and various possibilities for the length of stay.

Pros: Helpfulness of front desk staff in getting to the site from about two miles away when I got turned around getting there in the first place.
Cons: Someone put used soap in a new soap box in the bathroom. Only later when my wife opened another box of soap did we discover that my bar of soap was well used already!
Pros: Pool and complimentary breakfast
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location will stay here again!
Pros: Convenient and super-comfy beds
Cons: The eggs at breakfast were disgusting¿¿
Close to many restaurants and the convention center.
Pros: Room and bathroom space the nicest of any Ha,ton Inn we've been at.
The hotel was right across the street from the hospital I was visiting so the location was amazing. My entire stay was great.
Pros: I love the staff they were very helpful and nice. The room was great and very clean. The breakfast was also great as well. The fresh cookies and milk for guest when you walk in was amazing.
Cons: The is nothing bad I can say about my stay.
Overall I felt there was great value for my money. The hotel had everything my family needed and we even made use of the fitness center. Breakfast every morning was convenient and very good and the bonus of the breakfast on the go bags was fabulous when we needed it, not to mention the coffee available anytime and fresh baked cookies on the counter when we were coming in or going out. After having stayed two years in a row with both experiences great I continue to recommend your hotel to family and friends. Great job!
Pros: It met all of my needs. The room was very clean and quiet, convenient if I needed to pick up anything forgotten at home and very close to where I was visiting and my reason for coming to Virginia in the first place.
Cons: This was my second time staying at this very hotel and the staff at the reception desk did not seem as friendly and engaged as they did the first time I stayed. My first visit you had a very friendly, cordial woman working the desk that day.
Pros: location and breakfast
Cons: shower spigot did not work correctly. Only turned 90degrees, was either scalding or off. I reported to front desk staff, offered to 'have someone come up', it was late, my family was tired. We sponge bathed, should have had a discount
Staff was very responsive to any requests and made our visit enjoyable.
Pros: Free continental breakfast, cleanliness of facility

Pros: I loved the room spacing and location to local eateries. I stayed in a Spring Hill hotel in Vegas and this hotel in Hampton (short of the Vegas flare) was not short stopping. I would highly recommend this as a hotel option.
Cons: We had to switch rooms because the television was not working (recently remodeled and may have not been connected properly). Thx.
Pros: This has to be the best staff I've ever seen. Very friendly and helpful. They were never pushy or rude. I had my service animal with me and no problems at all. Unlike others I've stayed at. I will stay there again
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly. Had smiles on their faces, held doors open, were on top of it Great to see coming from a customer service background. Housekeeping was accommodating and interactive. If you passed by them in the hallway they would acknowledge your presence and say a friendly hello. Loved having a great display of food for their complementary breakfast which never ran out of food.
Cons: No fan in the bathroom?...doomed for black mold. Did not care to have the A/C unit on either. Cleaned the front of it because it was filled with dust. Was a nightmare for those who have allergies like myself. The 2 inch gap of fresh air from the window was not cutting it for fresh air flow. Luckily did not have to be in the room as much as we had planned.

Pros: The location and the breakfast during the morning was excellent. The staff was super friendly.
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Pros: The staff. Friendly and professional. Hotel Employee the breakfast lady is sunshine.
Cons: The room seemed too airtight. Couldn't open the window even a bit to air out the room.
Pros: The staff was extremely pleasant. I had a few questions, they answered them with a great attitude and very helpful information. There was a hair on one of the bathroom towels when we arrived, an entire fresh set was brought to the room immediately.
Cons: I wish the pool opened earlier, but my daughter and I did have it to ourselves for our 20 minute swim at 8:15 am, which was a definite plus.
Pros: Location and friendly professional staff.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: Location is close to restaurants, shopping and freeways
Cons: The room was okay, it could have been cleaned a little better. The air/heater made loud humming noises throughout the night.
Pros: I have stayed at the hotel several times & what brings me back everytime is the fantastic staff. EVERYONE is so kind, welcoming & helpful. They always make me feel like I'm in their home - they even put out lemonade & cookies in the afternoon. Sweet.

Pros: I encountered the staff members on all shifts and they were all incredibly friendly, especially the evening shift on 27-28 Jan. Kudos in particular to the night attendant and from desk attendant. They know very well how to talk to and engage with customers. They both made me feel very welcome and at "home". Thank you!
Cons: The property is showing its age...old, creaky elevator, older furniture, etc., but the room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again, if nothing else but for the friendly staff.
Cons: Traveling with a family and being charged 150 a night....I was with a group....otherwise I should have booked at one of the ten other hotels around the corner who, at the very least, can offer some water when you walk in. Yes they have an overpriced restaurant. No free continental breakfast. Floors squeak so stay in the upper floors.

Cons: Dirty Pool and Hot Tub

Pros: It was quiet. I could relax. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The tv channels were limited just like a cheap motel. I didn't care for the overall smell of the room, hall, and everywhere.
Pros: It was comfortable! My 8 years daughter loves it!
Cons: The shower needed longer curtains because water leaked all over the bathroom floor and into the closest. The cleaning crew could use a bit more hospitality!
Cons: Missing cleaning my room the first night
Pros: Clean hotel, good service and breakfast at a very good price
Cons: Nothing, will stay there again
Pros: I liked the room set up
Cons: I was traveling with a boat and management told me I could park around back and take up several spots. So I parked liked management wanted me too and when I woke up there was a car blocking me in. I told the girl at the front desk and she was making every atempt to locate the owner after an hour went by no luck, she the. Calls her boss (the owner) and was ready to have it towed, but her boss said "we can't just tow a guests car, even if they are blocking another guest" he wanted the girl to try again to locate the owner but at that time I was running an hour and a half behind. So at this point i my self had to call the police and the owner didn't want to do anything. The police said the owner needed to call a tow truck. It was suck an inconvence for me to get the truck and boat out. Me being he guest i should not have to call the police and a tow truck. The owner needs to grow a spine and realize that when a guest does something like that and can't be located to remove the vehicle from property. I will not be staying there ever again due to the rude manager/owner.
Pros: Most of the staff was very friendly, the breakfast which was included had plenty of options and it was very close to shopping and the university. The room was very clean upon our check in. And in the evening they offered fresh baked cookies.
Cons: The night staff male was rude and not very helpful. While the breakfast which was included was good, I would have liked to see more fresh fruit options. Also the gym was very small and not appropriately stocked (no towels, no water). The equipment wasn't maintained too well, but it was still usable (noisey, like it needed oiling).
Pros: Location, location, location. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was roomy. Huge refrigerator to use. Plenty of drawer space. Decent coffee in the breakfast room.
Cons: Non-smoking floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room did not, but right off the elevator it did and all in the hall. The pillows were too small and soft, offered no support for my neck. I don't like using multiple pillows (they move around too much) but I did here just to get to sleep. One of the towels in the bathroom (when we first arrived) was put on the towel rack obviously unwashed from a previous user...gross. Grateful there were other clean towels to be used. Didn't use the coffee machine because it is stored on the bathroom counter. Who uses a food/beverage item in the bathroom?

Pros: This hotel is in a good location for my business. There are enough dining locations reasonably close to one isn't stuck with dining from the hotel restaurant (albeit very good).
Cons: "Free" WiFi speed is pretty slow. I have much better luck using my phone as a hot-spot. This seems to be a common issue with most hotels though.
Pros: Pleasant check in experience, clean rooms, and the cocktail hour made for a very nice stay. It's well laid out, and the parking lot was close and accessible.
Cons: I called to the grunt desk in the morning for something. I had to call twice because noone answered my call the first time. Then they didn't deliver the item to my room, and when I went downstairs, the attendant was sitting in the back, reading.

Pros: actually a beautiful hotel in a awesome waterfront location with a brewery opening next door.
Cons: place needs some work from the manic elevator to the semi clean shower stall and the clogged air return on the ac and loud whining output vent .
Pros: Hotel and room was furnished with beautiful nautical theme. Restaurant and bar downstairs had delicious food and proved to be very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Proximity to the marina and the Air and Space Museum also very convenient. Parking garage was well maintained and easy to use/ access for guests.
Cons: Minor cosmetic issues in the room, some menu items in restaurant were overpriced.
Pros: -The bayview room with great bay windows
-Location near nice shops
-Very friendly and helpful staff
-Good wifi; not too slow for a change
Cons: -Breakfast was pricey, and not normally included (but it was good, and the staff was great).
-There's some evidence that the rooms themselves are dated but generally the latest remodel was good.
Pros: I love the look of this hotel as well as the views. The location is pretty perfect as well. I was also very impress with the staff. Very friendly!
Cons: The room was a little less clean than i would prefer. But this has never been a problem before at this hotel.
Pros: The location of my room, the view.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay longer. Had to return to work.
Pros: The hotel was impressively decorated and comfortable at the same time. I was greeted by name when I checked in. Despite being a younger traveler I was not talked down to or shown any disdain. The location on the marina offered wonderful views. The breakfast offered was delicious and more than ample. I will definitely return the next time I am staying in the area.
Cons: The room thermostat would reset to 70 automatically and the TV would not have sound every other time it was turned on. Nothing that was too important or that would keep me from coming back.

Welcome to the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina.
Cons: The hotel was hot and there was either mole smell or the carpet was sour. It stated that it was renovated but more like they put a coat of makeup on the place to make it seen like it was updated.
Pros: Great location between Williamsburg and Virginia Beach areas. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Was told the hotel was remodeled last year. There were cigarette burn holes in the carpet and on the bedspread. The electrical outlets need to be replaced as when you plug an item in, the plug falls out. There should also be more outlets added.
Pros: The staff was really nice.
Cons: We had to switch rooms three times. The door didn't lock in the first room. The fridge didnt work in the second one.
Pros: Location was perfect and fitness room was better than expected.
Cons: Liked staff and hotel, but the bath tub water trickled the whole time, and both the room door and bathroom door were very difficult to shut.
Pros: Its location and price compared with other similarly rated hotels.
Cons: I would suggest more seating for the breakfast bar.
Cons: Power outage.
Pros: The location to the venue
Cons: The first room we were assigned to had food in the fridge and a gross spill in the bottom. Electric socket was hanging out of the wall. Closet door was on backwards, so with the chair in the way, you could not get in the closet. Room was filthy.
Pros: The hotel staff was very nice. We were arriving from South Carolina and I call to let them know that we would be arriving late. The late night staff was very friendly and he let me know that breakfast was servered until 10 a.m., that was very nice of him.
Cons: The front of the hotel, there was no place to pull up and check in. It was raining when we arrive, so we had to park and walk up.
Pros: CHECK IN THE GENTLEMEN WAS VERY KIND. LATER THAT NIGHT WE REALIZED THERE WAS NO SHAMPOO OR LAUNDRY BAG. I WENT TO FRONT DESK AND THE WOMAN COULD NOT CARE LESS. I TOLD HER THE ROOM WAS VERY DUSTY. SHE GAVE ME ONE SHAMPOO AND DID NOT WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE.
Cons: THE ATTITUDE OF THE WOMAN WORKING THE FRONT DESK IN THE EVENING. I TOLD HER THEY SHOULD CHECK THE ROOM AFTER HOUSEKEEPING CLEANS IT, SHE JUST SAID THEY DON'T. VERY DUSTY. RUGS ARE FILTHY AND SMELLY.
Pros: That it was in a good location and it was at a great rate...
Cons: That behind the bed it was not clean
Pros: It was quaint and quiet. There is coffee/tea/water(juice?) always available in the lobby which is nice as well. The staff was really nice.
Cons: The only 'issue' was that the bathroom. The cleaning person used too much soap on the floors;it had a slimy/slippery film. I put down a towel and mat b/c it was gross. There was also a few spots where hair wasn't cleaned & the towels had yellow stains
Pros: Staff was very nice and accomodating
Cons: The room wasn't totally clean and they could not give extra wash clothes and towels. Only 1 per guest for evening and morning stay.

Pros: It was located in a very quiet place away from the crowd.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I was charged a two day stay for a one day stay. I missed my flight and the owner refused to allow me to stay without paying the second day.It was Hampton University Homecoming weekend and all hotel were filled. Get my refund.
Pros: It was affordable
Cons: No breakfast because there is no enuff people living
Pros: It was cleane
Cons: To close to the air force base
Pros: Our stay here was actually better than expected. Super cheap stay and the hotel is actually a 'motel', but we felt safe and the rooms were clean. The hotel was pretty packed the weekend we stayed.
Cons: None of the drink vending machines worked.
Cons: Lots of bugs in the room. Woke up with a lot of bites on my face
Pros: The place we were suppose to actually stay was HORRIBLE and cost 4x's as must as this hotel. The manager was GREAT, the room was clean and everything worked like it should.
Cons: The door lock (card) was a little tricky, we needed help two times opening it.
Pros: The hotel from the outside wasn't that great but the inside of the rooms was pleasing for the price.
Cons: I cant say anything bad about it.
Pros: A cheap cab ride away from the coliseum and was in a quieter spot than red roof which was nice for sleeping. Right by an Air Force base with a pretty view!
Cons: The remote, microwave, and clock didn't work, front desk service was painfully slow
It was in a nice area
Cons: The room key didn't work so I had to change rooms 3 times
I got stuck with this hotel due to a last minute business trip. All other hotels were sold out due to the military renting them for some function. This was the only room left in this area. Keep in mind, I normally stay at the Hilton so I kinda knew it would be a big jump down, however the price was much cheaper.
Pros: The motel is older and is showing it's age. It is in a very sketchy part of town. I was wondered about my car being broken into. The best thing is there is a bar/restaurant that locals hang out that is nice.
Cons: The location and the crowd that was lingering around. My buddy Glock was with me so I felt safe, otherwise I would not have stayed.
Pros: staff was great! always keeping up witb grounds, front lobby and hallways. I hate when others just throw their trash any where. Thanks for the staff/manger, as they take pride in their place. thank aa rhey
The price was exactly what we were looking for, the staff were very nice and ready to help, and the location was minutes away from everywhere we needed to go. It helped make a sorrowful trip into a sad goodbye mixed with a trip down memory lane and time at the beach. At breakfast, I suggest sticking with the oatmeal and fruit rather than the cereal. We will definitely use the hotel again when we go back.
Pros: The free internet was very fast, so my husband was able to continue to work while we were out of town. We were always able to park right outside our room. The staff were kind and quickly accommodated all of our needs.
Cons: The cereal included in the free breakfast was on the verge of stale. My husband and I noticed it, but our kids did not.

Pros: The location was in the middle of everything
Cons: The price was too high for the amenities; didn't have a business office. No pool. The continental breakfast was paltry. It took a half hour to check on!
Pros: I liked that the staff was super friendly! Hotel had a Convenient location
Cons: I wish I would have known upfront that housekeeping was not included in the booking fee

Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 6 AM and 9:30 AM. Bonuses like refrigerators, refrigerators, and microwaves are in all rooms.
Pros: Breakfast was okay and air conditioner worked well.
Cons: The pool was worn out with broken lights above and cold and cloudy water. One elevator broken, kids pushing all floors on the other one. Bathroom had broken sink and hair in shower. Bed had crumbs. Doors lock midnight to 6am seems unsafe. TV=static
Cons: This should be rated a one star. Did not meet expectations at all.
Pros: Breakfast lady was on time and very helpful. Room cleaner lady on fifth floor is great and hardworking. Hotel location great.
Cons: A little noisy sometime because of too many young adults. Only one elevator working, very risky to walk stairs.
Cons: The pool looked old and dirty
Pros: Sam from the dining room during breakfast was absolutely wonderful!!! She made sure that everyone was well taken care of! Also, my daughter left a bracelet in the room after we left and the staff went out of their way to make sure we got it back!
Pros: Location...it was easy to get to and close to a variety of places to eat.
Cons: They charged my card twice and gave my room away to another customer while I was still in the room.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay, it was quiet everyone was pleasant and we certainly would stay there again.
Cons: can not think of anything negative to say.
Pros: staff was friendly, breakfast was edible and varied.
Cons: hotel:dated, musky, and staff's ability was hit and miss. the amenities were outdated, poorly stocked and maintained. The room was poorly vacuumed, dusty, musky and tv remote was not standard to the system. desk required additional initial over normal.
Cons: The heated pool wasn't really heated when I first got there. No whirlpool available.
Pros: I like that it is very quiet and they serve breafast in the morning.
Cons: The breakfast staff are not friendly and there are maintenance issues.

Pros: The staff was great. Very courteous and helpful.
Cons: Needs to be renovated old in the hallways I could smell of urine.
Pros: Great value for the price. Conveniently located right off the interstate. Great shopping and restaurants nearby.
Cons: Bathroom was very small. Pillows were small and lumpy. I was accosted in the parking lot by someone begging for money.
Cons: Dirty on the outside. Not real nice on the inside.
Definitely could use an upgrade.
Pros: Not a roach motel / no working girls or families living there. Close to highway and restaurants. Good selection of TV channels.
Cons: Beds are like rocks.
Pros: Price & location, breakfast isn't bad either
Cons: Noisy inconsiderate guests. beds are a bit old, can feel the springs, towels are not soft. Did I mention noisy? Clientele can be quite sketchy..
Pros: The location of the days inn Hampton was amazing. It was less than 5 minutes away from the shopping centers.
Cons: The scent of cigarette smoke slapped me in the face as soon as I entered the room, the wallpaper was peeling, the room was small, completely out of date, and the bathroom door never shut completely. Also random people were knocking on my door at 2am yelling. The general cleanliness of the rwas nice despite the overwhelming smoke scent just a very dated room.

Cons: The room smelle really bad and the premises had abandon cars
Cons: We didn't like anything about this hotel. The location was in a bad area. The surrounding area of the hotel look like a dump site. We took our business somewhere else.
They were accommodating about my request to have some print-outs from my personal email which I appreciated. It was also no problem having 3 small children with me in the room. I basically got what I needed for a 2-night stay. I actually wanted to extend my stay with them but they would not give me the same rate. So, that was disappointing but I would recommend this hotel for a short term visit in the Hampton area.
Pros: This hotel was easy to find for a traveler from another state like myself. Staff was helpful and friendly overall. It seemed to be a family owned hotel. The room was cleaner than I expected and there was no hallway-noise during the night.
Cons: Not sure if the hotel was family owned or not but they could have been a little more professional in the presence of guests, attire included. There was no liquid soap in the container above bathtub and no iron either.
Cons: Very dirty, sketchy characters walking around all times of the night, the windows don't lock on the first floor and the...please stay away for your own safety.
Pros: The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: The hotel was dirty. Everything smelled like cigarettes even though we requested a non-smoking room.
Cons: Night staff was the worst...
Pros: the staffs are nice and the room is clean.
Cons: The strong bleach smell when I first walk into the room(just need to open the window to air out for like 5 mins), its good to know they clean the room.
Post no pets allowed
Pros: They didn't allow us to stay we had a pet and website did not say..no pets. I lost money for that nights stay
Cons: See above
Pros: It was somewhat cheap in price.
Cons: The room was NOT clean by any means. I do believe that people were using this hotel as home instead of a short stay. Kind of a scary place.
Pros: The hotel was a great price and very comfy. I didn't want to spend a lot on a room and this was affordable and the room was nice.
Cons: There's wasn't anything I disliked about the room.
Not bad for the price, about 1/2 what you would pay for 'event' pricing closer to the Coliseum.
Pros: Friendly attentive staff.
Cons: Some unsavory characters apparently living there.
Super 8 Hampton is located approximately seven miles from Norfolk and 15 miles from Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. They offer continental breakfast and free high speed internet access in all guest rooms. No pets accepted. USD1.00 daily safe fee.
Pros: I liked that it was just off Mercury Blvd, close to everywhere I needed to go. Checking in was great, the guy at the front was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly.
Cons: Fabreeze my musty OLD room.
Tiny 20x30 in towels. Paper thin walls; people banging for me taking a business call. Mattress cover was filthy, included old blood stains.
Pros: The maid was polite.
Cons: Extremely ghetto! It smelt of mildew. You can hear everything through the walls, the kitchen only had two cups, two bowls, and two plates with nothing to cook with. I stayed four nights and two of those nights there were loud altercations down the hall in which cops were called. Walking to my room one night, past the gym which has a giant window looking in to see five males smoking and passing a blunt.
When you stay at InTown Suites Hampton, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Virginia War Museum and Hampton University. Free perks include self parking and wired Internet. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The location was great but the hotel room was a very bad experience. There was dead bugs that was killed and left on the walls and corner of the room. It smelled very bad like there was mold in the room. Bathroom wasn't cleaned.
Cons: It wa a dump i refused to stay here
Cons: Towels were dingy white. Yuck
Pros: close to restaurants & shopping area
Cons: room smelled like cigarettes
pictures do not match what is online
barely cleaned bathroom
Pros: It's located across from a shopping center with a lot of variety of stores and food...that's about it
Cons: Room reeked of stale cigarettes, towels were dingy and room wasn't cleaned well. The ice maker was broken and had been for so long it was covered in dust and cobwebs. People were grilling and partying in the parking lot, which is fine as long as it doesn't last all night...which it did. It was a last minute trip and we were desperate but we did not stay another night.
Pros: worst hotel ever very dirty needs to be torn down
Pros: I didn't wake up dead.
Cons: Where to start? Cigarette burns in my sheets, someone else's hair in the shower, toilet didn't work, wifi did not work, no breakfast, stains on the towels as well as on the sheets, warnings on doors not to open the door for anyone that you didn't know, had to sign a waiver in case someone broke into my car/ stole my stuff, the night staff was strung out and pregnant when I checked in. The place is run down and does not look like the picture. I also had two "gentlemen" come and scope out my car as soon as I arrived. I honestly didn't feel safe there and checked out fifteen minutes after I woke up the next morning. Avoid this dive!
Cons: Didn't look anything like the pictures online. Place is old and run down. Didn't feel safe with all the people hanging around.
Pros: I found our stay rather nice considering the last minute reservations that we made. over all for the money I can not complain.
Cons: I had to clean the a/c filter when I arrived as it was dirty and the a/c was not cooling correctly. the tub drain drained slow.
Pros: The location was good. I turned 21 and the hotel was right across from PBR and other places.
Cons: When we got there we got our key and went to our room, at 6pm and there was men working in the hallway using our power outlet in our room. When we asked the lady at the front desk about it she said we should wait 15 minutes until they were done, which was rude and she ended up giving us another room. The check in time clearly says 3pm, you would think she would one know what was going on in her hotel and two we got there plenty of time after 3 our room should've been ready no excuses. Our toilet had trouble flushing more than once and the shower head was broken, you had to hold it yourself. We reported it to the front desk upon our departure so hopefully it can be fixed for the next people that stay.
