Service was often described as unfriendly or unhelpful, with issues such as unresponsive staff, problems with breakfast entitlements, and malfunctioning room keys. Cleanliness was also a recurring concern, with several mentions of mold, broken fixtures, and untidy rooms. A few guests found the beds comfortable, but this was not a dominant theme. Overall, the negative experiences with amenities, service, and cleanliness overshadowed the positives for most guests.

Opt for a Room Away from the Road

If you're sensitive to noise, consider requesting a room away from the road to minimize disturbances, especially if the rooms do not have air conditioning and require open windows for ventilation.

Explore Nearby Attractions

Take advantage of the hotel's proximity to various attractions such as Place des Vosges, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, and the Louvre Museum, all within a few miles, for convenient sightseeing opportunities.

Consider Bringing Your Own Amenities

Some guests found the rooms to be very basic and lacking amenities such as a kettle for boiling water. Consider bringing your own travel kettle and tea bags for added convenience.

Check Room Views

If available, opt for a room with a city view to enhance your stay with a picturesque outlook.

Plan for Check-in Delays

Be prepared for potential delays during check-in, as some guests experienced slow and inefficient check-in processes, especially during peak times.

Manage Expectations for Breakfast

While some guests enjoyed the breakfast, others found the selection to be limited and repetitive. Consider exploring nearby dining options for a varied breakfast experience.

Be Mindful of Noise Levels

Due to reported soundproofing issues, it's advisable to pack earplugs or consider requesting a quieter room to ensure a good night's sleep.

Plan for Deposit Hold

Note that the hotel may place a deposit hold on your card upon check-in, which could take some time to be refunded after check-out. Plan your budget accordingly.

Utilize Nearby Public Transport

Take advantage of the hotel's proximity to public transport, with a metro station just 10 minutes away, making it convenient for exploring the city.

Set Expectations for Room Cleanliness

While some guests found the hotel to be clean and well-maintained, others reported cleanliness issues. It's advisable to manage expectations and communicate any concerns promptly to the staff.
