The DoubleTree by Hilton Park City - The Yarrow offers guests a great location with an outdoor pool and hot tub that are open all year long. The property puts visitors within 15 minutes' drive of the famous Utah Olympic Sports Park. There is an onsite restaurant and a fitness center that is open continuously. There is outdoor furniture for those that like to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The property has ski rentals right on site, and bikes are also available for riding. Guests are not allowed to bring their pets. There is a free shuttle service for guests to be able to head out to the area attractions. The front desk area is available 24-hours per day, and they are happy to offer concierge services to their guests. The staff members speak German, English, Spanish, Croatian, Polish, and Serbian.

Pros:The staff was amazing! Mike at the front desk, and Edgar in the restaurant went above and beyond expectation.

Pros:Location
Cons:The hotel is older and the service was not up to the standard I have experienced at other hotels in the area. The resort fee to pay for a self-parking in a parking lot riddled with potholes and an internet service that didn't always work was insulting. I have stayed at many DoubleTree Hotels in the past and generally like them (clean, good value) but I would advise avoiding this one. There are much better options in Park City.

Pros:We loved the room, the beds being so comfortable, the pool and game room, the cookies at check-in, the staff being so kind, the size of the room, and the cleanliness!
Cons:There didn't seem to be a way to contact the front desk. When I tried to do so to get the WiFi log in information the woman I spoke to asked if there was any way I could just walk to the front desk and get that information. It would have been easier had there been WiFi information in the room, or a clear way to contact the front desk rather than calling "guest services".

Pros:I was attending Sundance and was terrified as I am older and have a prosthetic leg. Ice and Snow are not my friend. I was greeted and treated like royalty. The staff offered to walk with me to and from the room so I had a stable shoulder, they gave me extra waters for the altitude, and generally were there to make sure my stay was peaceful. They even approved a very late checkout on the final day as they knew my event was late in the day. All this during the crazy Sundance festival!
Cons:Only thing was the heating in the room had not been reconnected to the wall thermostat. Once they showed me how to control it manually it was just a nuisance and they comp'd me a full breakfast to make up for it.

Pros:Shumba at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. All the staff was responsive to my needs and very professional. I was so impressed with the new renovations. I had stayed there 2 years ago and it was run down and dated. Now, it looks like a brand new hotel. It was excellent value for the money.
Cons:The only negative was my ice tongs in my room were covered in something gross and very dirty. I alerted the front desk and they were super responsive, apologetic and made it right.

Pros:I reserved a room with a king size bed. When we got to our room it was two doubles. I went back to the front desk to get fix it and was told there were no other king rooms available. I wasn't happy and was making that clear to the worker. The manager over heard the conversation and intervened. She upgraded us to a king suite. I thought her customer service was great.
Cons:I found out that booking a hotel room through third parties doesn't guarantee you the type of room you get despite what you think you're booking
