it is ok the distance to Roma
the airconditioning was not working
Close to Rome and cheap. Included free wireless internet.
people OK no facilities. The heat is on only at certain times of the day... then you need a sweater to stay in the room
The room wasn't clean. ie. previous guest has used the desk drawer as an ashtray (the desk drawer was full of fags). And the room supposed to be non-smoking room.
Good location, informative staff Piles of junk everywhere in corridoors (renovation still going on?)
The services, cleaning, and hospitality = excellent ! the brekfast room have a very nice wiew!
The price, staff, localization No
The hotel is located in the centre of the little town monterotondo, which is charming but not as beautiful as the more famous tuscan towns. The town is a workers town and a lot of people that life there work in Rome during the day.It has a train station with a direct train line into rome and also to the airport (FCO). To get to the train one would most likely have to take a bus or use a rental car. The hotel itself was fine, good value for your money, the breakfast was nothing special but good enough to start your day, in the lounge there was free wifi connection. The rooms were clean and simple. Overall a good alternative to the expensive hotels in rome itself Our room was above the main entrance and it was quite load at night as people were standing under our room to smoke and talk.
Good value for price. Good food in restaurant. Staff speeks poorly English.
Convenient for the centre of town and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. The town is somewhat disappointing with limited eating options.
There were only two things that we liked during our stay at the Albergo Dei Leoni: 1) the local ice cream and 2) one staff person was very helpful. Things we did not like about our hotel: 1) The hotel is far from the station with the only transportation available being buses. If you are too late (the last bus runs at 9:45pm) then it is approximately a 45 minute walk to the hotel. 2) It's at least a half-hour train ride into Rome. 3) Aside from one staff person, the hotel staff seemed unable to do the simplest tasks (i.e., putting through a credit card payment). 4) The free wireless internet is only accessible in the lobby. 5) There is minimal offered for the breakfast.
The location was close to our friends and close to stores, restaurants and transit system. The breakfast choices were good, excellent cappuccino. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Other than that we were happy with our room except that we overlooked the square and it is quite noisy at night. We liked to sleep with the window open but sometimes it was too noisy. The stairs to get to our room are extremely steep!
Polite staff, very itallian-style hotel, silent nights (no highways or traffic nearby), clean air, covered parking, free wifi in the lobby, cosy town, not far from Rome and easy straight road to piazza Spagna (ab.20 min by car) rooms 1 to 8 are only accessible through the restaurant
Large room. Clean and comfortable. Tiny slow lift totally inadequate for size of hotel. In fact disastrous. In morning most guests had to carry heavy suitcases down many flights of stairs. Internet did not work. Phone system did not work. Staff rude and did not care.
asked if i could heat up some food in dining room for my little child and was told sorry i couldnt.my taxi to the airport was late by 45 minutes
When I arrived at this hotel, I was told that only one of the two rooms I have booked were available. They did nothing to find me another room or at least call another hotel for me. I will never try to stay at this hotel again. See above. No service whatsoever.
Helpful staff. Very good restaurant, but was closed on Saturday night! We were attending a reptile show 3 km away, and hotel provided free transport. Shopping complex and cinema next door.
Very quiet, clean The staff too eager to get away food when breakfast time passed
Room is good Requested for dropping at Fara Sabina Station at 10 am after vacating the hotel. Your staff said no shuttle can be arranged and we have to go on taxi on our own. As per your website airport shuttle has to be arranged while your staff stated that we have to get into morning/ evening shuttle only which sounds ridiculous that flights schedule wont be suiting to your schedule. Hotel being located at remote place and very poor shuttle service i prefer not to choose your hotel and i shall caution same for my colleagues.
Almost all the staff spoke or understood english and were polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was ideal as a base to travel from. The lift was very very slow and only had room for 4 persons. The bar ran out of beer. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
It was difficult to find the way to the hotel from the highway.
The reception available h. 24 and the excellent breakfast
big bads. I clearly asked for 2 cots at the reservation because I have 18 month old twins, and I called the hotel to confirm that they have the cots. However when I arrived they told me they have only one cot, and even he was damaged. There for I hardly slept at night due to my babies inconvenience. No apologize was suggested or some kind of compensation. I am very disappointed
Not luxury place, but all works well. Wery good staff, quiet place and restaurant is pretty close.
Friendly welcome in convient location. Ease of access from Motorway and laid back atmosphere apparent lack of reception staff for local information
115 € is a good price for Rome area, but sounds high if compare to similar accomodations located in other areas of Italian countryside
Quiet environment, close to Rome, in contradiction to previous reviews: Airco in appartment!
quite room. nice and friendly staff, easy parking and a great restaurant on the site. non
The room was very spacious. The Hotel is old and the location is not really nice. Not far from there, you have shops and restaurants but the position and the isolated street makes it impossible not to take the car. Good only if you need a stop over near the highway.
The location was convenient. The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful. There was too little hot water. The hallway was in disrepair.
First of all, I have to say that getting to Residenza Degli Oleandri is a bit of a nightmare. If you are using Tom Tom on your GPS, look for "Fara di Sabina" and not "Canneto Sabino" which will give you nothing in return. We spent half a day trying to get to the place, and we did an extra 100 kms just on that account. Anyway... my driving experience can differ from yours, and what really matters is the place. Residenza Degli Oleandri is simply gorgeous. You get there through a dirt path, and after a while you find an automatic gate. The gate opens and you see yourself on this kind of paradise, with gardens everywhere, a small pond and vineyards extending to the horizon. The apartments are very well equipped, with all that is important. 5 *.
