The best part of the hotel was how funny their pens, note pads, "do not disturb" signs, etc. were. The room was older with a cigarette burn on the toilet and a chip in the sink, but the beds are comfortable and triple sheeted so I had no complaints.
The staff was amazing. We booked through GetARoom and they completely messed up our reservation (booked us 1 room instead of 2). The staff was very understanding, checked us in 2 hours early so that we had time to get ready for a wedding, and supported us 100% when I contacted GetARoom for a refund. They really went above and beyond. The bed was really comfy too!
Sound insulation in the room needs much improvement.
Very handy and good value. None to speak of.
It was a comfortable stay. The hair dryer in he room didn't work, and had to be replaced. The maintenance man was great though, and replaced it right away. Apparently, this is a fairly common occurrence. My recommendation is, invest in better quality hair dryers.
The rooms were very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. Excellent! The location to Downtown is very good. A bit of noise from the late comers in the evening. The rooms are not very sound proof.
Great value for the price, staff is very friendly and helpful I was confused by the rubber ducky in the tub, not really a bad thing though
The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, great room service & housekeeping.
Well appointed at a reasonable price Nothing
The best part of the stay with you has always been that staff that go over and above to ensure that my stay is welcoming and comfortable
we found the room very clean and comfortable and it was just across from where relatives were staying. It was also nice to have ABC Restaurant and Starbucks right outside the hotel.
The convenience of The convenience of being close to everything
Our stay was fantastic, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great, and the continental breakfast was a bonus! Our pillows wern't the greatest, but did not ruin my stay!
The staff the was nice. Too seperated, have to walk outside to get to the office, pool, vending, everything. Not kept up too well.
only 15 min walk to downtown Kelowna. breakfast included. small pool & hot tub to relax after walking all day!
The staff was friendly and helpful. NA
Our room didn't get cleaned, there werent very many breakfast options, the pool was closed and we weren't told that before booking, it's right on the highway and our room was so loud, the toilet leaked, the price of the room was very expensive for what we got. We won't be staying there again
The easy access to room from parking and the Chinese restaurant which was attached to the motel. The indoor swimming pool was in a separate building.
It was clean and comfortable. road noise
The bed was very comfortable , like that very much. The room was very clean. I asked for a wake up call and they helped me. The staff was very helpfull I will stay there again. No laundry bags
We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay the hotel is old we realize that however our room was updated and very clean the linens were very fresh and the room is a good size.
Free internet, good breakfast, free local calling I did not get a business rate when booking on-line
Nothing The service, the old crappy room, the location, the noise from the highway.
Right price range, good breakfast, good location.
The Suite was excellent with a view over part of the lake which we did not expect. The hotel had excellent access to wineries. The one thing I would find that needed attention was the restaurant - not the food or service which was great but blinds are needed - maybe only this time of year but definetely needed!!
comfort far from city
Excellent in every way
The staff was very friendly and we liked the use of the amazing restaurant and spa on the main floor.
we love'd our stay in the resort, the pool was closed as it was fall but we still had the luxury of the out door hot tub it was lovely . the rooms where also clean and lovely laid out ...
wonderful location. staff's hospitality. beautiful view. good food. excellent service.
We were checking in for a weekend, anniversary getaway and we received an upgrade to a Club Suite, 9th floor with a lake view, no extra charge. That also gave us access to the Club Lounge and its luxurious amenities. In the lounge we met a very friendly and helpful member of the hotel staff named Tomoko. She made our stay in that area very pleasant. We look forward to our next stay in their beautiful rooms with their amazingly comfortable beds. We had a very happy anniversary. There was nothing that I wasn't 100% satisfied with except for the channel selection on tv but that wasn't even a big deal because I wasn't there to watch tv, I was there to relax and enjoy my anniversary.
A group of 4 ladies stayed in this hotel during our Sunflicker Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in Kelowna. It was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious as well! A good location for going out and about downtown and fairly close to the lake. There was quite a bit of noise that came from the street which made it hard to sleep; however, there are notices in the elevators saying that they provide earplugs in the bedside table. I just never saw them till the next morning. Parking was a huge issue. Their underground and supplementary parking was full so we had to drive round and round until we found something on the street, which, thankfully just happened to be free over the weekend.
I have always found the staff to be very warm, friendly and helpful. This stay our room was right on top of an outdoor balcony which was rather noisy with young people up until the wee small hours.
the room was cozy and warm, We are enjoy the atmosphere, people. Stuff was very friendly. It was nice to have complimentary breakfast and breakfast was very good. The radio station acroce the hotel was little nosy but they finished around 10 pm it all good
The location was great for our purposes. Nice to have coffee shops and bistros close by. A little road noise on the Bernard Ave. side of building.
Boxing day snow storm landed us overnight with our two small children. The staff were fantastic, rooms were clean and the kids loved the special treat.
the friendliness of the staff.
Very helpful staff; clean and comfortable; convenient location. It was unfortunate that the adjoining restaurant had closed. Most of the restaurants in the neighborhood are specialty and/or overpriced. A simple family-style restaurant would be an asset to the vicinity.
Continental breakfast was a nice surprise, after reading other patron's posts. Nice fruit selection, good coffee, whole grain toast...very nice. Hotel is a bit dated, but that is not a complaint.
Location was close to all amenities whilst on my stay the only thing I wasn't all that happy about was noisy fridge
Friendly and helpful. Smooth check-in and check-out No
The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa. The staff were very nice. It was clean. The smell of febreeze was overpowering when I first entered the room. The shower was tiny but the water pressure was good.
Free wifi without a password. The room was separated, living space in one room with the couch and tv, then bedroom in a separate space with just a bed and nightstands. Pool is outside so not accessible during winter. Hot tub was inaccessible because walkways were not shovelled. Tv had limited channels, the majority of which being American news networks which are horribly depressing at the best of times.
Clean rooms & comfortable beds & pillows. Friendly, responsive staff! The breakfast is mediocre at best. Eggs are not freshly boiled, they are older eggs that are pre-packaged & rubbery. Other breakfast items are mostly refined carbohydrates and sugar. Plain oatmeal was OK. Plain yogourt without sugar added would be preferred. More fresh fruit would be nice & muffins that are nutritious & not loaded with sugar would be better, too. Hey, if you feed your guests "real food", then we may live longer and be able to come to your hotel again.
Excellent suite overlooking lake with access to waterfront walking trail that takes you past marina, tennis club and beaches Summerland was expensive, even when compared to Banff and Revelstoke
Very quiet and friendly staff Exterior patio very dirty
The sheets and blankets were very comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous and had everything you needed. No indoor pool
Close to everything we wanted to see (bottleneck drive).
The room that my husband and I stayed in at the Summerland Waterfront Resort was so comfortable! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! After a day of wine tasting, and looking at the beautiful scenery of the Okanagan Valley, coming back to this hotel just made our weekend getaway even better! The room had wine glasses, and an opener and a full kitchen with cooking utensils. Loved it! The front desk staff could have been a little more helpful with recommending places to eat.
Great Breakfast each morning, friendly staff, nice pool, rooms were clean the hallways were very cold
kids loved the slide. location.clean new. bit worried about safety of slide. Think there should be more signs warning people to stay away from bottom of slide.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was ideal as we don't care for cooked breakfasts. Well situated for restaurants. No
The hotel was very clean. My daughter enjoyed the waterslide.
the room and hotel were very clean and new! nice design. the lighting was to be desired (very dark) but large rooms. Everything (nature's fare grocery store, restaurants, beer and wine etc...)was very close by so we were left to just enjoy ourselves and relax! There is free wifi which was handy too! THe workout room is great - new machines - and the pool and waterslide were great too. Would absolutely stay there again! lighting of the rooms
accomodating staff, good service, excellent breakfast, modern, clean rooms, fridge & microwave in room was excellent for our family stay. It was a little new to us to have to put a $200 damage deposit down for each night, however, we did get this back so it turned out all right.
The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. The open breakfast worked out perfectly for us. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the big comforter but my auntie and mom who are in their 70's found them too much. Everything I needed to do in West Bank was completely handy. I liked all the little stores in the parking lot too!
The Bed. The room was exceptionally clean. Brandy was the only attendant on when I checked in but she had great poise and excellent customer service while on the phone. Even with the line up and phone ringing constatntly she remained in composure. The wait to check in was long only 1 attendant
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient The hotel didn't have a dining room or bar and was not situated close to many facilities
The hotel is probably the most child friendly that I have experienced in 16 years of going to Kelowna for the July 1st fireworks display
Everything was clean and comfortable. Appears to be a newer hotel and was a great place to stay, convenient to Okanagan area attractions. Nothing.
Close to restaurants and helpful staff. A drive to the lake. Please write at least 15 words
The kids really enjoyed the waterslide/pool the view we had was poor(air conditioning unit)... but not a big deal
The room was just right for our needs. The sunny balcony overlooking the pool was a very pleasant place to sit during the warm evening. I attended a business presentation in a large conference area during our stay. There were nearby restaurants available for dining. The included breakfast was not up to the same standard as the other hotel services. There was no fresh fruit or sweet baked goods on offer. We attended two breakfasts and both times one hot item or the other was in short supply. We appreciated the inclusion of a breakfast but were a little disappointed on what was offered.
Hotel room decor is dated. Hotel room decor is dated. Because I booked through Kayak, breakfast was not included, even though I paid as much as those who did receive the complimentary breakfast.
The house bar was expensive and had poor selection and service
It's a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. It has a great courtyard pool that they light up at night. They have a nice eating facility with good food, and a dining area that joins right out into the courtyard pool which was great into e summer. The rooms are a little small and a little dated, though not uncomfortable or gross.
Staff in most cases wae perfect
Great value. Brand new, clean rooms. Friendly service. I will stay there the next time I go to Kelowna. It was perfect!
We were only there for 2 nights but enjoyed it very well.Very nice room.Very clean. Breakfast very good, just a little too crowded.Long line-up.
shopping and stop before flight Kids running in the hallway and midnight.
friendly and efficient
The comfort of the room.
breakfast was good room was comfortable
We enjoyed the closeness to restaurants and Hyw access. Enjoyed the continental breakfast, pool and hot tub.
Friendly staff, promixity to shops and restayrants, close to Kelowna airport. We had a flight to catch and had to be at the airport by 4 a.m. We asked for a 3 a.m. wakeup call and it never came! Luckily we had also set our alarm.
Friendly atmosphere started off by receptionist from Helensburgh, Scotland (sorry, forgot his name!) Nothing
Comfortable beds and big TV. Bathroom somewhat dirty and a shower designed for midgets.
The beds were excellent, the drapes screened out the light and it was quiet. The room was clean and while we didn't use it the microwave would have been a plus had we needed it. Appreciated lots of towels. We were grateful that our room was changed to a groundfloor as we are seniors and don;t do stairs well. Thanks. would have enjoyed more of a selection of herbal teas since we don't drink tea or coffee.
The check-in staff were exellent
Most staff very kind and courteous. Closeness of hotel to shopping/restaurants. Smoking rooms as people with me did smoke. Room really did not feel clean. It must have been newly painted but poorly done so. Paint flecks on places they should not have been. Papers found behind bed side table.
The location was great and the staff were professional. The rooms were not sound proof at all. The sound we experienced from the elevator on the top floor was problematic. If the air conditioner was not turned on we could hear people sneezing and doors slamming. The size of the TV left a lot to be desired. Holiday Inn would be a better choice next time.
The front desk services were excellent. Very helpful reception
All amenities, friendly and efficient staff at the front desk and at the restaurant(chop), excellent location, very clean and nice design throughout the entire facilities! NA
Noisy hallway until 3:30 am, walls seemed to be paper thin as sounds were loud and irritating.
The hotel was overbooked and had trouble finding me a room when I arrived.
Great bed, nice facility, quiet. Elevators were very slow
Nice new hotel, smelled good in lobby. Far from downtown but on the other hand, close to the airport
Stayed several times - like the hotel I did not like the fact we were given a wheelchair accessible room when it was clear we did not require it. reason is everything is very low down. Didn't even see the towels under the sink on a railing. Clean, acceptable but not what we asked for - wondered if it was because we booked it through your company at a lower rate.
A new hotel very nice but AC very loud and hard to adjust
