10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elegant as only French can do . Charming and one of the gems
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tamerlan is a best manager. Thank you very much, my friend!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Relais & Château.... no other words needed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Best location in St Paul and outstanding service and most attentive staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location inside the city walls on the main street through Saint Paul. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Nice glass of rosé and cookies upon arrival with comforting concierge after harrowing driving to get to the property and many steps to climb to find a bellman.
Cons: No air conditioning turned on in the property yet, and it was stuffy and warm in the hotel and my room. Opening windows with no screens helped, but was reluctant to leave open while out or at night. My deluxe room has a wonderful view overlooking the valley below, but rampart walkway was eyeball height for walkers looking into the bedroom window, taking pictures, and talking. Not at all private without keeping draperies closed altogether. Small bathroom with old and slightly moldy finishes in the shower. Glass door to shower would not close all the way, so water leaked on bath floor even with strategically placed towels on the floor. Decor needs to be upgraded to 21st century luxury standards rather than still reveling in 1990’s glamour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Suite was absolutely delightful. Hotel upgraded our suite because of availability with no extra charge. Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Located in a delightful medieval village on the french Riviera. Breathtaking views of the countryside and of the sea. Wonderful local French cafes.
Cons: Be prepared to walk as the medieval ramparts are often too narrow for cars. But there are a number of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is wonderful, the village itself is amazing
Cons: The room is too small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unique , Lovely Hotel, and experience at the end of the season! Very cozy & intimate, in the center of a storybook Medieval setting. Loved all the art galleries and unique shops.
Cons: Should have been sent VERY detailed instructions re: arriving by car, PRIOR to arrival. It was extremely time consuming, confusing, and stressful despite the use of GPS.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, staff is very nice and helpful. Really liked the coziness of the hotel
Cons: Service at the restaurant could be a bit better. It would have been nice to know what was in our cheese platter and our glasses were often empty so we had to wait or ask.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel. Great location in heart of this old village, rooms very clean and comfortable, and staff very friendly. Billy is the best valet anywhere! Have stayed here 3 times and would go back.
Cons: Nothing

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So we wanted to go to Monaco nice and Cannes so we picked this hotel as the station is literally around the corner so you can get to either city in 20 mins. We had the junior suite with balcony (great spot to tan) Amazing hotel, amazing cleaning staff they would clean and also organise all of my stuff I left out tonnes all of my designer shoes jewellery bags etc almost everything I own was designer yet everything was handled and cleaned nicely. The free drinks was lovely especially when we'd come back in the evening and I would get a hot chocolate from the machine and have it on the balcony. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel I highly recommend booking the junior suite lovely room phone connects to the tv nice bathrobes and very spacious rooms. I read people said the streets are unsafe I was fine with my friend I think the mix of people made the vibe kl. The main road is like bond street and every turning is different a lot of tourists as well so it is safe. If you want good service and place with standards this is the place to book. The staff were all lovely down at reception it's a very cosy but modern hotel will definitely be coming back here.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean rooms. Efficient air conditioning.
Cons: Neighbourhood not clean. There were guys hanging around the corner whose activities looked suspicious.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, shuttle service, very friendly and accommodating staff, assistance with dinner reservations, drinks and snacks at the pool, pool towels, abundance of sun beds, newspapers and magazines
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely comfortable and agreeable. The style of the property was pleasing, the room we had was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The staff were terrific, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff we dealt with could speak English, even if we tried our French on them, but they did not make our efforts feel inadequate! The outside areas, including the outdoor lounges, the pool surrounds and grassy areas were extensive and were never busy - there was always space to relax. The pool is a good size, that allowed for serious swimming, if that is your thing. All in all, a terrific place to stay. Far enough out of town to provide a feeling of space, but close enough to St Paul-de-Vence and other towns to be convenient.
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean good breakfast although expensive
Cons: A bit expensive I think it should of included breakfast for the price of the room rate!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good. Shuttle service to the old town on a retro Citroen liked a lot.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 18th century style Renovated and clean
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, small boutique and fantastic staff throughout our stay... pool, room, jacuzzi!
Cons: Road outside could be busy and noisy at times. Breakfast was ok, if you paid for the ‘full-breakfast’ you will survive till dinner. The ‘light-breakfast’ was not really worth the €12.00 per person, for a few pastries, juice, coffee. Otherwise to eat this in the dining area was delightful!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Facilities were great
Cons: We sent two bags for laundry and recieved them dirty. Very disappointing. we are a family with a one year old, stayed for two nights and took the cleaned bags on the day of Checking out and only discovered clothes were not clean when we reached our next destination. We paid 120 euros for the laundry, thankfully gave us 50 percent discount on baby stuff. But clothes were not clean.

Pros: The manager and staff were knowledgeable and knew the town and surrounding area well making excellent travel suggestions .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good Owners are running it Perfect service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved loved this little paradise in the heart of Nice. Delightful palm tree filled garden where you take the breakfast to the most helpful staff you could ask for. The rooms and the building are just delightful - true old school French Riviera. Parking on site and a very short walk to the modern tram system which goes straight to the old town. Perfect. I’ll be back.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely villa with an even lovelier garden/terrace facing the property and staff always here to help. Private car park available but shaped in a corridor, hence why you will have to leave your car keys at the reception and let the staff move your vehicle if someone else has to use their car.
Cons: Our "superior" room was lovely but pricey and could have been bigger. The room had aircon, an italian style shower and was tastefully furnished, however I wonder what the non superior rooms would be like as ours did not feel particularly that way, especially taking its price into account. I was also expecting a jacuzzy in the room as I am pretty sure this is why I booked this superior room, however I could not retrieve any mention of it on my booking (I might not have paid enough attention when I booked it or the hotel changed their naming convention between the time I booked the room - January - and when I stayed there - July). There are however rooms with Jacuzzis available. Despite being located in Nice you will still have to use a taxi to reach the beach or the old town, or walk ca. 45-60min to get there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! Room lovely, parking easy and the best ever breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in one of the cottage rooms with a jacuzzi. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-equipped, featuring a bluetooth speaker and a very affordable minibar (€2 a drink). Breakfast was continental style: a basket of breads and pastries with a variety of spreads, cheese and ham, and the option of a fried egg. The hotel is a little north of the main city centre but it's less than five minutes' walk from the main tram line which will take you to the central area in 15-20 minutes. Above all, the owners were extremely charming and helpful in their recommendations of restaurants and sights, and it was a pleasure to stay with them. We would happily do so again if we were ever in Nice!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Villa with nice garden to having breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the style of the hotel, fast check-in and help of personnel when we checked-in. Also liked, very much - the garden around the hotel.
Cons: The situation with parking in this dictrict of Nice is a disaster. No space at all, but if there is a space, it is for a car of backpack-cize, like Citroen C-zero. So, ask from the hotel! Can not avoid a strange situation with payment. Yes, I agreed to pre-pay, to pay upfront, to include torist tax - whatsoever needed to be paid. But I disagree, when hotel reserves full sum of overnight as guarantee, then another payment - this time for a room should be made. Why not to use reserved money as prepayment? There are no minibar or something, that hotel may charge for. In another hand, bank does not afford to handle double payment from the same merchant, this time a hotel, so the situation with checkout was confusing. Try to understand, that if every hotel during the summer holidays with charge twice for an overnight stay, it is a mess and all together will cost "an arm and a leg".
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I booked simple room but it only had a twin bed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful: eating breakfast in the garden was lovely and it was nice to be in a local neighbourhood away from the busy tourist areas. It was easy to catch a tram to the beach and old town.
Cons: No shampoo or body lotion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very cosy apartment-hotel. Fully equipped. Very comfortable beds. Close to supermarket and the seaside. Very pleasant personnel.
Cons: Everything was fine. :-)
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and smiling. The bed was comfortable although smaller than it looks. The location is great , it is midway between valbonne and Nice, you need fifteen minutes to each
Cons: Broken and squeaky sofa/ there were ants coming into it. bed much smaller than it looks. No tissue paper no paper towels in the kitchen, coffee machine with no capsules, could have at east provided two per day. The photos are very different than the reality, very disappointing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well situated for all attractions
Cons: Prepayment well before arrival
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our third time we have visited Villa Velvet. Always friendly staff (the same people we have met here four years ago), very clean. It's very convenient to get to Nice or Antibes, everywhere. We liked that the huge supermarket was in 5 minutes by walk and in 10 minutes the long promenade. Super job!
Cons: I just have mentioned that the part of the bed is a little bit damaged but it's just because of the material quality or how gasts use it I think.
6.3 Good
Pros: Not much I liked
Cons: I got the “garden” room when I arrived and it was horrible. It’s this sad apartment facing the back of the building with this little area in the back with an old chair. Not quite a garden. They were nice and switched us to a room with a balcony but still The apartment felt cold and made us all not even want to stay there. We were 3 people but only had 2 knives and 2 forks in the kitchen. I really didn’t like the place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice terrace, nice appartment
Cons: Far from train station
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, clean room and a friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay at Villa Velvet very much. The place s close to the beach and restaurants, yet conveniently far from the main street and thus silent and quiet, enabling for a nice terrace breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and supportive, we received umbrellas and some extra beach stuff for free to enjoy the sun time. Building and rooms are clean and modern, cleaned every day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen (the larger room had a washing maschine which was totally cool). Villeneuve-Loubet is a small town which looks as a typical summer seaside village, but once you discover the old village you will find it amazing. Also, it is very close to Nice, Moncao, Eze and also some fantastic cities like Saint Paul de Vence or Valbonne (totally recommended!). Overall, a very good location for a vacation stay!
Cons: We had two rooms, the smaller one had a great terrace for morning breakfasts or evening wine discussions. The larger was more comfortable due to size, but the two points potentially worth mentioning: there were a separate toilet room and a separate shower room (located at opposite parts of the apartment). This was ok, but in the toilet there were no sink to wash hands, so you need to go the shower room. Kinda weird design I must say. The other thing you should be aware is that the room located on ground zero at the back of the building is a bit dark - it has an own small garden patio but is a bit hidden from sun. Not a huge disadvantage but clearly visible as compared to front side rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was excellent. A small studio but lovely and clean. The small kitchenette was well appointed with excellent oven and microwave - mind you we only used it to heat our morning croissants! The women at reception was very helpful and spoke excellent English, slightly better then my French. Supermarket and good restaurants nearby. We had.a car so getting to Nice was not.a problem but public transport was not quite so frequent as the location is outside the main Nice bus routes but there is a train station not far away. All in all an excellent place to stay.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, Villa Velvet was in the perfect location. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the staff were very welcoming and friendly - their English was far better than our poor French! The apartment was very secure - we had our own key and a code to come and go at our leisure.
Cons: The room was a little small - we stayed in a studio apartment - but we did have 6 weeks worth of luggage with us!

Pros: Excellent environment, extremely clean room and bed, very friendly people, and walking distance to St Paul de Vence
Cons: Non
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful gardens and fantastic pool. Owners were brilliant too, friendly and had great art dotted around the place when we stayed.
Cons: Breakfast at 15 euro per person is a bit expensive, considering it’s only continental, and should be included in the price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and relaxing with pleasant staff.
Cons: Not allowed own food or drink in room which was a pity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well appointed. Clean and beautiful. Absolutely spot on service, friendly staff. Great Breakfasts Wonderful ambience should be listed as a 4 star property.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was a decent continental. The room was very charming, very cute, old fashioned and French, some lovely touches to it. Good shower location was great a 5-10 minute walk to town, The pool was great, overlooking the valley/ hills Their golden retriever dog was very well behaved and friendly Would stay again for sure.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location , walking distance to St Paul. Nice pool. Breakfast ok. Good parking.
Cons: This, our third stay disappointed. Property a bit tired, desk slow to respond to requests, repairs not done and a limit on use of bar fridge ! No assistance with luggage on arrival... new management ? Also don't expect too much space in "junior suite".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic hotel at a fantastic location. The hotel is a boutique hotel with absolutely charming features - few rooms with all amenities, great breakfast in a picturesque garden, great dinner service. The hotel owner and director is an Italian signora with great style and a perfect hostess. Truly one of the most unique places that we as frequent travellers - both for business as well as for personal reasons - have ever seen.
Cons: There is really nothing that was not perfect.
6.3 Good
Pros: I’ve stayed there before and it was beautiful - it’s as pretty as a picture and walking distance to St Paul de Vence. The new young man working there couldn’t be more helpful as was the gorgeous lady with dark curly hair - nothing was too much trouble for both of these staff members even though it appeared to me that they were restricted by the new manager.
Cons: We were in the two bedroom suite and the second bedroom got absolutely no cool air from the air conditioning . With a heatwave in France , we were unable to sleep in the second bedroom and lay awake in a pool of sweat and when we asked for a fan we were just told a flat NO - not good enough for the money we were paying. We have a right to a comfortable nights sleep and we barely slept. I was told there was room for a rollaway bed but there wasn’t really room at all and when my son arrived on night three we were terribly cramped. The new manager has signs everywhere saying no food or drink to be brought into hotel yet there is a fridge in our room which begs the question - what is it there for if not to put food and drink into. We had bought lovely wine and cheese with us and there was no way we weren’t going to drink/eat it, especially since the hotel had barely anything in the way of food offerings. I understand they make money from these things BUT we have done this in every hotel we’ve been to and at Le Hameau we felt we had to hide our food from the very grumpy manager - unfortunately they’ve lost me as a customer and I won’t be recommending them again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool and grounds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Instant ‘French Charm’ Homely ...certainly not ‘sophisticated ‘ But we loved it for our needs Pool was superb Staff were Lovely especially ‘Moona’ Pretty ..French room clean linen clean room super shower & a very pretty view Lovely
Cons: For us .. it was charming !

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is superb, wonderful interiors and decoration in public areas, Bellboys and concierge are very helpful.
Cons: Check-in disaster. I came in after midnight, didn’t get any help. Overpriced, awful breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved, loved the location and the overall vibe. The lunch restaurant and the bars - we went to both - were great. And the staff were great!
Cons: We had two rooms and one had an updated bathroom and the other didn't. Not really a problem because the one without the updated bathroom had a nice view!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is exceptional with an outstanding design and the staff take care of the guests. Well located and quiet.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice location. They changed my room when I was given an inappropriate room since I had my kid with me. The check in employee was very kind and helpful.
Cons: Check out took too long. Some Rooms need renovation. For a 5 star hotel Room service should be 24/7 or at least until 12am. But when we order at 11pm they said no we don’t have anything only pizza. The room service needed more staff to handle all the guests in this 5 star hotel. There was only one employee at night in room service. However the staff for room service during the day were incredible.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super professional staff, really nice and large rooms. Very clean, quiet, with expected service in room
Cons: I missed some amenities in the room that you can find in those type of hotels usually: smart tv, speakers, etc... Breakfast only available from 7am which is a problem with early flights. You should be able to order in room earlier than that.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The eccentric decor and the grandure of the hotel.
Cons: The bathroom was in need of modernisation. Tiles that had been painted over and were flaking off - not attractive. The Friday barbecue was very disappointing. Tough meat and limited vegetables.
6.8 Good
Cons: The room was very tired and in serious need of decoration. Breakfast was a very poor event - clearly lack of staff and all sorts of mistakes that you'd never see in a 5-star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ate breakfast outside the hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the incredible artwork through the hotel makes it really special. We upgraded our room to a suite with sea views which was just amazing and the little extras and room service was great.
Cons: The breakfast was really average and let’s the place down especially when it’s an expensive hotel. Some of the staff in the breakfast area were just rude as well.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was nicely refinished albeit the air con was not able to run very cold
Cons: The service in the rotonde restaurant was appalling for a 5 star hotel. Were kept waiting 16 minutes after we had the menus and wine list.. even the waiter D walked right by ... and this was at 7pm with the grand total of four tables occupied in the whole place ! No surprise then that we walked out and went to a restaurant down the street and had great service. Will not be returning
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.

Pros: It has a great location. The railway station is 5 min far from the hotel by walk. The beach takes 10 min on foot. The room was clean and beautiful and great size. The breakfast was fresh and tasty we love it.
Cons: Would it be great if they have a kitchen and they serve scrambled eggs, omelette or other roast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and friendly staff at the check-in. The time I was there this hotel offered the most competitive rates for short term booking. It’s a great base to visit Nice, the beach and the area around.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast could be better quality. But also there are enough nice places around :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern clean amenities. Central location. Short walk to some great restaurants. Breakfast from 6.30am for early starters.
Cons: This place was good in all ways. It’s hard to fault.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: None
Cons: Worse ibis experienced.Towels etc. not changed and Room was not tidy completely. Reception demanded and locked the amount euro 344.00 during checkin and charged repeated amount during checkout. Please check and ensure that they do not double charged.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect to get to the train station in 5 minutes walk. ideal for the person who wants to travel into other cities around but don't want to drive.
Cons: The breakfast is reasonable but without any change for each day

Pros: Lovely hotel, nice size room we had the "Queen bedroom" with a lovely balcony/terrace. Friendly staff, very helpful, good breakfast and good location.
Cons: Coffee was provided in Reception but after the first day the hotel ran out of milk (minor gripe)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was polite, funny and spoke perfect English. The manager worked like crazy to help out at the breakfast. We were impressed.
Cons: The rooms! They're fine but there was absolutely no where to put anything. Our room had one lawn chair. It was weird. It all feels a little too Miami Vice with the colors. Felt slightly Miami-ish/Golden Girls. Bottom floor was noisy with window open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s rather close to railway station “Nice Ville” (5-7 min by walk) and to tramway station “Jean Médecin” (5-7 min by walk) that goes from Airport. Very friendly staff. Rather spacious rooms. Breakfast is ok.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was v nice. Not too close to the masses. Hotel Recommended some lovely restaurants. Rooms were spotlessly clean and bright. Spacious as wells. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Wish there were coffee making facilities in the room all I. All though it was a fabulous place to stay. Thanks to the team there
Cons: Could have had a coffee making facilities.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were here just for a week. Hotel is located centrally right across from the beach. Rooms are very specious with luxuries beds. Dinner experience at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Just one small issue - we did not get city center view as the website promised. Balconies were facing each other with no privacy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything perfect
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice service as always in Hyatt, nice rooms. Separate toilet and bathroom in the room, what is perfect. Amazing location, right in the city center.
Cons: No front sea view in rooms. Many rooms have a view on other rooms what is not nice. So you always need to close curtains in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: The concierge desk on the other hand were exceptional - helpful and so friendly! Vincent was on our watch and he cared for us with humour, great care and excellent knowledge of Nice There was also a lovely chap in the restaurant whose name I didn't get but he had great humour, was helpful and had the biggest and brightest smile!
Cons: The reception staff, without exception, were dreadful! Some were robotic, others plain rude and extremely unhelpful from checking in to checking out! The restaurant in the pool area should have been relaxing but the staff made us feel unwelcome and treated us as fools much of the time!
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Hotel badly needs renovation, carpets are not clean, furniture scrapped, some hardware is outdated. At the same token it is still very comfy and quiet.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: The check in was a mess. Paid up front yet the hotel still did a full account preauthorization on my card. Basically blocking facility on my credit card despite paying up front. Absolutely not cool. The “refund” took 10 days to reflect on my credit card. Not happy!!

Overview Reviews
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice flowers, purchased as an add on. Clean, comfortable beds, good pool
Cons: My mom is disabled and we were unable to use our eating area as it was constantly used bulky staff to load all their supplies and dirty laundry. This also made it difficult for mom to get in and out of the room. Safety issue and certainly not acceptable a th suxh a highly rated property
5.8 Okay
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Dangerous for mobility issues. Staff left supplies and junk all over our patio so I had trouble leaving room. Many stairs. Rude when we tried to address issue. Very pushy on check out
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely hotel, very attractive and pleasant ambiance, wonderful convenient location near the old town, charming professional efficient pleasant staff, we had a superior double room which was spacious, elegant and with a small private enclosed terrace... couldn't have been nicer.... good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool was a bonus.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with huge balcony. Very friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Nice pool. You could order drinks at the pool, but not food. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, sight seeing.
Cons: Restaurant was expensive. Tiny rooftop gym was actually charming, but equipment was outdated, no water, no circulation. I suspect it doesn’t get used much, so I appreciated that it was even there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a unique property with outstanding views and a great location close to the sea and to the old town. The hotel staff throughout are friendly and helpful. The pool was an added highlight along with the jacuzzi and sauna.
Cons: The restaurant and bar area had an amazing ambience although the menu was somewhat limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was amazing. Its like finding a diamond in the rough. There isn't a better location and hotel. This is definintly worth coming back. A real gem.
Cons: Nothing. I couldn't be more pleased with the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for city and airport. The pool area is unique for a city centre hotel
Cons: The carpet strips in corridor near lift on first floor let down that area of the hotel. It would be good to find a modern alternative to eliminate risk of slipping on the sloping floor. The choice of food at breakfast could do with a little improvement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and rooms are amazing I loved this hotel. It’s very relaxed and easy. I was also very impressed with the size of the rooms.
Cons: Nothing. All was great.
9.5 Excellent

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming historic property with lovely views and wonderful staff.
Cons: A bit tough to reach due to narrow roads but worth the effort. A bit further from Nice than anticipated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in an amazing old village, with winding cobblestone streets. The hotel is a tastefully converted old castle on a cliff, which makes for a very unique experience. The restaurant had the most delightful view overlooking the sea. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely situation in a Medieval village of note, great sea views and really super attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Easy to walk up into the village, or down into the newer town. Very easy from the airport. Excellent attentive staff.
Cons: The location doesn't provide a relaxed outside seating area. There isn't much they can do about it, it is in a tight village setting. You have to be able to walk including stairs but if you can't do this you shouldn't be staying in a Medieval hill top village.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the location and the area
Cons: Needed tv channels in English too. The location is remote and we would love to have stayed in our room and an English movie in the evening etc
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Although the location was a little remote and access was slightly difficult, it was a peaceful and lovely option to staying in Nice which was about 25 minutes by car. We have been there twice and would stay there again. Beautiful place.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent dining, amazing local history and clean.
Cons: No hotel parking but superb free taxi service to lower valley car parks by staff
6.3 Good
Pros: The building is lovely and the terrace is nice.
Cons: Our room, which we chose based on the various deluxe room photos online, doesn’t appear online. It was a strange room with an internal staircase leading downstairs (within the room) to a cave-like room with low ceilings and tiny/short opaque windows. The room size is fine, but not at all like the other deluxe rooms shown online. My husband hit his head on the ceiling multiple times and I was challenged with my claustrophobia, with the ceiling probably 5’10”. Sink and shower didn’t drain well. We queried the reception about whether this was what we had reserved and it had a plaquard saying it was a deluxe room, so because we arrived late and tired, we didn’t argue.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This is a neat property in a very old part of town. View from balcony and room was very nice (we had a premium room).
Cons: There is not much they can do about it but parking anywhere near the building is not possible. Breakfast is expensive. Dinner menu very limited but we found a restaurant nearby that was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed extra comfy .room was lovely full of charm. Good shower and views from balcony. Loads of character.
Cons: N/a

Cons: The noise at night
7.0 Good
Pros: The property was in a great location, close to the Main Street, train station and beach.
Cons: The property didn’t have a proper kitchen you could use or even a fridge. They would not allow food upstairs or drinks. No hand soap in the bathrooms, very unhygienic.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I was quite uncomfortable to go up & down on those 3 story bed, especially friend of mine who weighs almost 200 pounds, we requested a lower bed, they were book solid, though friendly staff did accommodate us but it was very hard for us to go up & down
Cons: Central location
5.5 Okay
Pros: -The personnel was very friendly and helpfull. -the hostel is located close to the train station , which is very good. -you can store you luggage for free -they cleaned the rooms everyday -a lot of placed to eat around the area
Cons: -slept in a dorm for 5 ppl and the bathroom was extremely small. You have to be very slim to be able to bend and wash your feet without touching a side. -the breakfast was not good. It was good enough so you won’t be hungry but you had a small piece of baguette, a decent croissant, chocopaste, jam, butter and compot as yogurt. Drinks like tea, coffee , water and orange juice (not fresh) were always available. You were allowed to bring your own food which is good , but no storage. -for a pretty big facility, the should have a decent working iron. - a few pictures are not reallly up to date ( stains on the sofa’s from normal usage) -weird bathroom smell in the hallway (stayed on the first floor)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is really great. I liked the free coffee.
Cons: Breakfast is super basic. I wouldn't recommend to buy it in advance. If you are in a rush, you can take it, but otherwise I recommend you go and have breakfast outside.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice and friendly staff. Good location. Nice common rooms downstairs!
Cons: Super small Rooms, no Space whatsoever (you could hardly sit on the toilet cause the shower was directly In front of it), very overpriced, no hairdryer. If they were going down with the prices you could justify the rooms but with those prices you def. need to step up the game.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Just a clean hostel.. Good location.
Cons: The lower berth is bad. .. The Place is not enough for sit up. And the bed stairs also have problems. Anyway uncomfortable bed. It makes noisy when u turn around ur body on side. Bathroom is so small . No kettle, no refrigerator, no toaster in hostel ...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location near the train station
Cons: Local surroundings are a little shady, but never felt threatened.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice curtains and good air con in the room. Although there was a battle for temperature ha.
Cons: All in all not bad
6.3 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: I was given not offered the choice of a bunk bed, the third tier. So couldn’t really make up the bed or get to it with ease. Mattress was stained. Didn’t feel comfortable so I checked out the same day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My first solo travel experience started here! More than happy! I had booked just 2 nights at the beginning, but everything was great and I decided to stay until the end of my holiday! Staff 10+++! They made the difference! Everyone helped me everyday from the practical things to simply advices

6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was nice. Right across the street from a great grocery store.
Cons: A good walk to the beach. Staff wasn’t very helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great place which deserves four stars instead of three. Receptionists and cleaners are extremely friendly and helpful, even thou the room was not clean to expected standard( not left dirty but missed a few things) it was incredibly comfortable double room with a fancy balcony overlooking the main street. Air con worked perfectly wel and I slept so good on that bed( which is a rare thing) Once we checked in the ladies offered us refreshments which just melt my heart :) Also, we had a bottle of rose which they opened for us and placed in the ice bucket as their own initiative, that was extremely kind and not many three star hotels are going THAT extra mile Thank you so much guys for your hospitality and I can definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay in the city centre instead of a beach side, you will enjoy!
Cons: The rooms could be cleaned better but that was the only downside and not that critical.

Cons: The cooked breakfast and somehow it didn’t look appetising. Tasted fine
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff tried their best, but not able to compensate for the serious flaws of the hotel.
Cons: The hotel is very dated and in need of an update. The room was certainly far from expectations and the carpets very dirty. Pillows were cheap fibre type and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was dismal and many of the food items simply ran out. The showers were cold.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Shower made no sense. Sprayed horizontally and got everything wet.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, modern and comfortable place to stay. Location was a little away from the action of Nice, but as we spent most of our time exploring the beaches along the way to Monaco it was easy access to the train station and a nice place to return to each night.
Cons: Roadworks going on which we’re a little noisy on our last night, but not much can be done about this. Looked like it was all finished when we left last week.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is good and the staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Thought it was a little overpriced for the facilities offered. Breakfast was so so and expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location. It was a lovely hotel and under normal circumstances would be a 5 for everything
Cons: The road works outside 24hours a day for the first 4 days. This was due to the new tram line being installed. The manager did compensate us for the inconvenience with a credit value on our account and a bottle of wine and wavered our small bar bill.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: La Malmaison Nice Boutique Hôtel An Ascend Collection Member is a charming small little hotel. I love the big balcony windows and a tiny ledge for admiring the city. Location is amazing, you can walk down to the beach in less than 5 minutes. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants dotted around the hotel. We are on our Euro trip around and easily found a self service laundry shop for our clothes nearby the hotel. The hotel has a unique decor and we were happy to stay here instead of big chain hotels.
Cons: When we arrived - to our dismay., the air conditioning did not work in the hotel due to a break down. It is ,I’d summer with 40 degrees celcius temperature so it was a bit of a let down. But they provided us with a standing fan and we opened the window during the night . Temperature was a lot cooler but we were unfortunately woken up by drunk people creating a ruckus on the street on the way back home.
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Everything I needed for easy access to the airport. Very helpful multi-lingual staff. Secure property with standard amenities.
Cons: Lack of on-premises or nearby lunch and evening dining.
6.8 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and relatively comfortable. Bedding was nice. Parking garage below could be purchased from desk at 15 euros/day. It was a very reasonable price compared to the regular garage parking.
Cons: The hotel was very difficult to find. Getting from the parking below to the hotel was complicated as there is no signage in the garage as to where you need to go to get to the hotel. The temperature in the room was very cold and could not be warmed up as they had switched to air conditioning mode only. Had to go to the hotel next door and ask for ice. The printer did not work to print boarding passes. Only a couple TV stations were in English and all but Disney was news.
7.5 Good
Pros: Next to airport, walking distance. Nothing exceptional, but convenient for overnight stay before or after your flight. And pleasant compliment as fresh orange juice at breakfast:)
6.0 Good
Pros: Great hotel for overnight stay before an early flight. Helpful staff. Basic but spotlessly clean room. Very good value
Cons: Location close to the airport is good, but it took almost an hour to find the hotel. Local construction work isn't helping, so we could see the hotel, but couldn't work out how to get to it. Would be helpful if hotel posted better directions on their site
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything we needed. Location. Staff very helpful. Pool. No issues at all. Very happy.
Cons: Nothing. All good.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great very central - 5 mins walk to Train Station - 3 min walk to Prom, Restaurants and Bars 10/15 walk to Old Town. Room was lovely with really good AC. Room was cleaned and sheets, towels changed on a Daily Basis. Nice little Bar area - closed at 12 midnight.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't great - charge of €16 person. There was a €25 charge for beach and there was no pool at the Hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: proximity of the beach and helpfulness of the staff
Cons: a bit far from the old town, breakfast could be better
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location is good - not far from the main entertainment areas. Some staff members were helpful.
Cons: Cleaning is below average - toiletries are not always refilled. Room feels like it was assembled from leftovers - looks ok, but practically unusable. Bed tables are tiny - really hard to even fit a phone there! No drinking water in the room - need to buy it yourself. Rooms have no soundproofing - you hear everything around. Air conditioner is very old and triggers allergy when turned on. Breakfast is very limited. Coffee is the worst I tried. Juices are just some synthetic liquid from the machine. Tea selection is very bad. Bathroom smelled moist and ventilation did not work. Deluxe room is located on the 4th floor and elevator is only going to 3rd. Moreover you need to walk quite far from the elevator to 4th floor. Room key is super bulky and has half-kilo metal knob with room number. Door does not close by itself - require extra pull/push to close. Overall service is worth of 2-star hotel, not 4-star. Some staff members on the reception could not handle even basic requests.
7.7 Good
Pros: Room was nice, plenty of space for our family of four, beds were comfortable. It's close to the train station and a very short walk to the beach/water, and the main street with shopping and restaurants. Couldn't have been a better location and the neighborhood was quiet.
Cons: Had an incident where the staff told us our breakfast came with the room, then they later charged us for breakfast. Staff member said he never told us that, even though he gave us a tour of the breakfast room. We paid, but were surprised that the hotel basically accused of lying. A 4 star hotel at that price has clients like us who can afford breakfast, so it was strange that they made us feel as if we were trying to skip out on our bill. Other than that, we had a nice stay and the staff was very accommodating.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach and the main station.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean which is an important point for us .The staff were very polite and the breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Even if the room “Classique” was a little bit small , it was okay for a couple for our 1 night stay .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is ideal for all sightseeing’s, breakfast is nice( especially for Nice), the staff is excellent (many thanks to Irina♥️)
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is the best. Very convenient for tourists in Nice, next to everything. The staff - very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The shower was overflowing and the vent in the shower worked non-stop, making noise. We asked to check it, the hotel technician was able to make the vent stop, but the shower was overflowing till the end of our use of the room. The hotel has no parking, and we were proposed to use an underground parking lot of another hotel for additional payment (very high), but in this area, you cant find an alternative.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff helped arrange our van transportation with a baby to Eze and return. Most staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. Location is quite good, about 3-4 blocks from Promenade. Bed is comfortable.
Cons: Terrible management decisions. Like one tiny bottle of water and only on arrival day. I had to go to Carrefour two blocks away to haul water for the baby’s formula. The price of water was 1.35 Euro for six large bottles. For a few cents a day, there would be many happier guests. Towels in bathroom were not changed, even wet floor towels. We were told they had to be on the bathroom floor to be changed, well they were! Yuck! Strange, tight arrangement of bathroom. Check in was only so so. Mosquitoes!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff where great. very helpful!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is good
Cons: Overpriced. Breakfast @18 euros per person was very poor. Some staff were a bit abrupt and unhelpful. Parking @25 euros a night - very expensive
