Pros: Clean, nice, spacious room. Close to the old town centre, 20 min walk from the train station. Nice breakfast, fast internet. Very welcoming host, we had a very pleasant stay, would definetely recommend this place to anyone going to Perigeux.

Pros: The bedroom was big, clean, comfortable and very nice looking, the decoration was kind of rustic but so cosy. The bed was very pleasant and all the amenities were perfect. We didn't take breakfast but we still got coffee, tea, snacks and chocolates in the room.

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped. Terrific location very close to the old city centre.

Pros: Good location in the centre of the city, only a short walk from the medieval city of Périgueux. The house itself is very stylish, with some very nice reuse of old furniture. The room was very well equipped with an ensuite toilet and shower. The optional breakfast is recommended as it is served in the room!

Pros: Beautifully decorated room with many personal touches by Luc. Spacious, clean, quiet location, free parking, great breakfast served on a tray to our room for only a few euros each. There was even laundry facilities on site! Luc was so friendly and helpful providing suggestions for local restaurants. The location was very easy walking distance to the centre of the town.

Cons: Nothing, all good and was sad to leave!

Pros: Francios was a superb host, the room was great and the breakfast marvellous. The location is perfect for the city and parking was directly opposite. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Cons: We rented one apartment for our 3 daughters and the third fold out bed was just rather small for an adolescent. For a small child it would probably be fine, but it was a bit narrow for anyone larger...

Pros: We were very surprised when we turned up to this apartment it was better than we expected. The property was beautifully designed and quirky, it had everything we needed, towels, bottle of water, shampoo. The bed was super comfy and the pillows. Quite location. Location itself was perfect a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment was super clean. We had no issue with hot water in this apartment, everything was great. DIRECTIONS It’s worth noting the place can be tricky to find if you do not speak French as the instructions are sent in French and they do not explain exactly where it is. It is essentially next to the Ibis hotel, the street on the right hand side of the ibis has other roads coming off of it to the right, it’s one of the first roads, walk down a little and you will see a sign on the wall introducing the apartment. That’s where you put your first pin code in which you receive on email and the second pin code is the door to your apartment also in the email. CAR PARK There is a car park to the left of the Ibis Hotel which is free and also opposite down the ramp by the river - also free.

Pros: Keyless door was a nice feature. Room was well laid out and comfortable. Location was perfect.

Cons: Only minor thing to improve is including instructions for the smart TV box as we couldn't figure it out.

Pros: Was a self contained studio and centrally positioned and easy to get to once it was found ( on arrival) ! Very clean, modern internally and fresh!

Pros: What a great apartment in a beautiful building and town. Location is just right, a few minutes walk into the centre and quiet at night. We stayed in the ground floor studio. It was decorated very tastefully and had everything we could have needed. In addition to that, it was SPOTLESS, very clean and well maintained. Free Parking is just over the road, couple of minutes walk. 100% recommend and we will definitely return.

Cons: There was a bit of a fusty smell and the shower went cold quite quickly.

Pros: The people who owned the place were really helpful and friendly, the setting was stunning, and the facilities absolutely beautiful. The owner gave us a brilliant recommendation for dinner which was a local night market with live music. Beds were comfortable and really nice shower.

Cons: The fitness suite was just a smelly room with 2 machines - not suitable for anyone really serious about fitness and you can't use the pool in the morning.

Pros: Le Mas des Bories definitely has the 'wow' factor! Walking across from the large, shady car parking area you come upon a simply stunning property with an imaculately kept, very pretty garden with an infinity pool. As gardeners ourselves, we just wanted to drop our bags and have a wander round it. We managed to stay focussed though and, once inside the property, were equally delighted by its beautiful interior. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and attentive and led us to our room on the first floor. As with all Mas des Bories rooms, it looked out over the garden so was quiet despite the property being near a road (and we do sleep with the windows open). Later, we had a swim (towels were provided), then after an apertif in the garden, we chose to eat in the charming dining room (you do need to book dinner in advance of your stay) and we enjoyed everything we ordered except one of the cheeses which smelled of old socks (no, we are not connaisseurs of cheese!). The wine suggested to us was excellent too. I would recommend Le Mas des Bories to couples or solo travellers.

Cons: Hard to find anything negative to say about the delightful Mas des Bories. To be picky, the decorative French doors to bathroom with pretty curtains instead of glass were attractive but afforded little privacy.

Cons: - rooms are rather small (and we already upgraded the room) - no A/C... Summer is hot! - bit strange to be told by host that he cannot understand you because of your accent. Especially when you are a born and raised French... hoping that has nothing to do with ethnicity

Pros: Our host Pascale was excellent.He has a great dry sense of humour and he and his wife are a lovely couple. The 16th century farmhouse is stunning and dinner and breakfast in the gardens wonderful. The food quality is excellent and with wine all very reasonably priced. Also a lovely infinity pool to cool off. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Cons: The rooms do not have air-conditioning but even at 36C we slept well.

Pros: Friendly and attentive hosts who served delicious food. The hotel itself was charming, spotless with stylish decor and furnishings. French rural charm at its best.

Pros: Excellent location and managed to get the remaining hotel car park space. Not really a big issue as there is a large underground car park opposite the hotel but it saved carrying the bags up stairs from there. We were upgraded to a Priviledge room which was excellent and overlooked the square. Free soft drink mini bar in the room .

Cons: Only paper cups provided for hot drinks in the room.

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location right in the town center. The room was larger than I was expecting, with a comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant, always greeting you whenever you came or left the building.

Cons: We had dinner at the restaurant and found the quality of the food not too great despite nice attentions for the children (play kit with games and pencils). Mostly, what made our stay not too pleasurable was the room comfort- we could hardly sleep (bed too small, poor ventilation, stale air - it was quite a hot night though).

Cons: The room was very warm throughout the night, the heater was not on at all, weather outside was raining and cool. it would of been nice to be able to control it ourselves.

Cons: Because I had booked with Booking.com I was charged 59€ for the room although the price of rooms was displayed outside the hotel as45€!! The receptionist stressed that as I had booked with Booking.com she MUST charge 59€ and agreed in future I should book directly with the hotel to get the best price!

Pros: The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Linen very clean. Location of room to the back of the hotel was very quiet. Wifi was fine but unsecured.

Cons: Reception could be friendlier. Shower grout could be cleaner or replaced. Bathroom lighting isn't bright enough.

Cons: When we arrived we were greeted with a notice saying no food could be consumed in the room. The penalty was some number of nights accomodation as an additional fee. It would be nice to have been made aware of this via booking.com, as we were travelling with our own food, and perhaps might have stopped along the way to eat rather than having to go sit in a parking lot to eat.

Pros: WE were cycling so we were just happy to get there. It was everything we needed though some outdoor picnic tables would have been nice as the sun was beating down on our rooms. Nice cheery room.

Cons: The staff had set the bloody airco to 15°C whereas it was 35+ outside. And even though I stopped it, it was back to a darn 15°C (and the bathroom light on) when I came back from work the next day with 38 outside. That's plain stupid. And if it's policy, it's even more stupid. Waste of electricity, and of course I got a cold. The airco had run so much all day long that the room was damp. And on top of it, the blankets are way too warm for summertime. I slept 4-5 hours per night. Never coming back.

Cons: Just 1 socket to plug my devices in a 3 room dorm. Bathroom was dirty(mold and beard hair). No security service during the night (neither in the hotel nor in the parking).

Cons: The place needs a facelift The corridors were shabby and the carpets stained. My room was pokey and the skirting/wall was starting to rot presumably because the bath/shower wasnt sealed and it was getting through the wall. I had a little black beetle for company all nite (damp). Ran across my face during the nite --- that got my attention! The toilet seat was loose and the flush wasnt adequate --- had to flush it with wastepaper bin, 3 times. When I had breakfast, which was good, I noticed that rafter ends on the verandah/drinks deck were rotten (need attention), and I think the A/C died or was overloaded during the nite -- it got very hot. I was surprised, at a glitzy Ibis: I had expected better

Cons: The front of the property was poorly lit. We felt unsafe in a rundown area. The decor was very tired. Our experience with F1 hotels in the past was complimentary but we feel that there has been no investment in upgrading over the years. Services have deteriorated eg no towels provided, no shower gel, breakfasts have been limited. We will not return to F1 and certainly will not recommend to any of our associates.

Pros: Close to the highway. I was concerned about this kind of hotel on arrival, but it was quiet, I even had very good night's sleep. The room and everything were clean.

Cons: They almost didn't find my booking and didn't want to look further until i show them a copy of my confirmation. At some point they even sent me to another hotel that belong to their group near by.
