very clean and quiet pillows too thick and hard but bed very comfortable
Non smokers like me should be offered rooms that also had not been used by smokers. My wife is very sensitive to cigarette smell. It is horible to sleep in an ash tray smelling room. Worst is not nothing can be done immediate to repair a broken aircon and faucet. The airline booking was good. Delayed but OK. due to bad weather in Pheonix.
Hotel needs improvement, should no smoke room for non smoker.
The customer service at the front desk and the maid crew was very helpful, curteous, and friendly. The room was very clean and there were sufficient supplies of towels, toiletries, etc. My only advice would be to extend the hours of the continental breakfast for those of us who like to sleep late.
THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME WITH THIS HOTEL AND WILL WILL BE BACK THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN THE AREA. OUR GRANDSON LIVE IN PEMBROKE ,SO WE WILL BE BACK SOON.
It was clean. No elevators to third floor. Looked sketchy. Smelled like smoke. Wouldn't stay here again. Way too expensive for the quality of hotel.
The room was large and was everything we needed. The only drawback was that there is no elevator and my wife was on crutches. We would stay again.
Looks like a simple hotel, but has great rooms! No elevator :(
Location. clean. quiet. Breakfast was not good. small area no room to move. very miserly.
Friendly staff, easy to find Parking lot could have been plowed - I left at about 0930h and it had not yet been plowed but to be fair they had recieved a big dump of snow and I did not get stuck thankfully
Clean and cheap Breakfast was inedible. Load hockey parents in the hall drinking
After pulling into Comfort Inn Pembroke and passing the absolutely beautiful gardens with exceptional iron works, I knew this was not going to be my average hotel experience. The entrance into the lobby was as welcoming as walking through my own families front door. I was greeted warmly be two very professional and well dressed individuals. I began to give my confirmation number when the young man asked for my last name. But I am not a number I thought. ha Anyways I was persuaded into an upgrade in the second floor with what I now know as the Historic Ottawa River. I wish i could sleep and rise to such a gorgeous view to say the least. I not only felt relaxed and rested but rejuvenated by next morning. I went to the back grounds and enjoyed a coffee while overlooking the river. An hour later my wife and I played some horse shoes. We noticed the housekeeping staff was very friendly and said hello and ask how my day was as i passed in the hallway. I was traveling to Ottawa and on the day of departure I was asked if i needed future reservations made..wow..I thought they care even after i am leaving. I did and not but 5 minutes goes by and I have a new confirmation number in my hand but in a envelope that said thank you for staying with us Mr.X and have a great weekend. No for what shows here as a two star hotel I would say is a major understatement. I received 5 star service from every employee. I would have no doubt in stating it to be not only the cleanest Comfort Inn but the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Thanks
The staff is very welcoming and make sure our experience is excellent. They take the extra time to know if everything is well with our visit. As breakfast is not available on site they offer a rebate on an excellent restaurant across the street.
Everything was excellent. No complaints. Nothing.
I will defintiely return to this hotel again. I usually stay at another hotel in the area - have always gone to the same place. However the price and amenities/service at this other hotel finally forced me to try another chain. I will be back. Congratulations to this hotel manager for all of her work on providing all round excellent value for my money!
bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Halls were dirty. Breakfast was okay. Hostess was very nice, but there was no way to make the instant oatmeal. You had to take it to your room to microwave the water?? You had to ask for eggs and sausage, as the hostess had to serve them
clean great location night staff talking in the hall way very load laughing ,bed very hard not extra pillows, or blanket . staff did not tell us about breakfast or the time , etc
Staff don't tell guest there is bacon and egg. It is hidden in another room and the server is blocking the door and window to access or see that room. In fact nobody know that is part of the food serving area.
We chose Comfort Inn because it was reasonably priced, pet friendly and in a good location. We have stayed there many times before! Could not reach anyone at the front desk whenever I tried to call - very frustrating!! Our room was amongst a group of hockey tournament families - had to ask to be moved to a quieter section. This should be obvious and should not happen!
The hotel is old-looking, very stinky of cigarette smoke and the rooms leave much to be desired. For example, the television sets are tiny and old. It is not worth the $ we paid nightly; an hotel across the street is clean, smells nice, has large flat screen TVs and modern in design for $ every night
Rooms are very quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was excellent and the staff are very friendly. No

Great room for a good price in a new, attractive hotel! Enjoyed the breakfast area...good food, coffee and the National Post.
Friendly staff, pool, eating area No
overbooked and after a two hour drive to get there, had to find other accommodations nearby that were not fit for humans. should never be involved with companies that overbook. With computers as efficient as they are, never should thar happen.
Location Pool shut down too early but the rest was very nice
Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of hotel rooms and public spaces and proximity to downtown as well as a free breakfast, internet and parking.
The hotel was very nice, clean, new, great. The breakfast was not very good compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have been to. I would give the breakfast a 4/10. It was a little better than an Econolodge breakfast.

Location. It was only a 3 min cab ride to the wedding we were there for
Clean, good breakfast Pool was too cold
The room was clean, spacious. The bathroom was clean. TV and WiFi worked very well. Breakfast was good and there was a choice of hot food. The hotel was really quiet. Location was perfect, next to the main highway and in front of Irving Big Stop.
The hotel is located just off the highway. Lobby was beautiful and inviting. Staff was very good. Hotel recently renovated, so very clean and new looking. Pool and hot tub was great. Restaurant/lounge was very good. We didn't get the type of room we booked. The room location looked over the pool area and was extremely noisey....especially in the mornings! You cant turn on bathroom light without fan running...very noisey! If you use stairs at side door locations, the doors lock behind you and cant be accessed with your key. Service and food was very good in restaurant but on the expensive side! The fitness centre and pool are open to the public for classes and training, can get busier than usual.
I liked the hotel but because i booked through Priceline l ended up paying 15percent more! I will not use priceline again
I chose it because the price was within my budget. Upon entering the room, it smelled bad. We opened the window but there was no screen so bugs came in. There was a cooler in the corner of the room and when opened we found a moldy sandwich. We put it in the hallway and the smell went away.
the air conditioning in the room was totally inadequate to cope with the size of the room and the heat already built up in the room. Our visit was during the hottest days of 2013 summer yet the air conditioning unit was unable to be set below 18C
