The hotel is in a street close to the embassy’s, there was a barrier and guard at the entrance to the street giving added security. The hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility, from the chaos of the city. The hotel is set in gardens, with a large pool. There is a bar serving food and breakfast outside. The staff were very polite, courteous and professional. Clean towels daily and comfortable bed.
The rooms are very small. Not many sun beds by the pool. The roads are chaos and very difficult to walk and cross roads.
Spacious, light room with high ceilings, we had plenty of space even though we had additional bed in the room. Room clean and very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location in a quiet area as the hotel is on a private road and also perfect for getting to the Royal Palace and National Museum. Breakfast tasty although portions felt a bit small compared to other places we had stayed.
Pool area felt unloved and not very inviting, lots of leaves and bugs floating in the pools and the tiles around the pool were quite dirty. Bathroom by the pool not very clean. Restaurant menu a bit lacking in imagination and food was average.
The garden is a relaxing, tranquil place. The service was efficient. The breakfast was perfect, really! The staff is very kind.
The staff is not knowledgeable about basic tourist sites throughout the city. A knowledgable concierge would have made getting atound more fluid. Construction next door was loud.
This is the second time we have stayed in The Kabiki. It is set in a lovely shady garden and has a beautiful pool which is actually big enough to swim in. It is a real oasis in the centre of this busy and vibrant city. We had an upstairs room which was quiet and reasonably spacious. We enjoyed having breakfast near the pool and the staff were friendly and helpful, though twice the bread was stale, which is incredible when there are so many great bakeries around. The WiFi was good throughout the hotel. They helped us arrange a car to take us to the old capital of Oudong, which was worth a visit, and the taxi to the airport was very reasonably priced too. Despite a couple of niggles detailed below, we would definitely stay again!
Very little water pressure in the shower and it sometimes stopped altogether. The hotel needs some investment as it is becoming a little shabby. Some of the pool loungers shown in the photos are not there and so there are not really enough for the number of guests. They were probably broken as the ones remaining are also on their last legs. Outdoor cushions etc. are a little dirty. These are easy things to fix!
The location is near the major tourist attactions, but the enviroment nearby is quite dirty, the smell is bad, and rubbish on the street is everywhere, so very smelly. I think this hotel in located at old town, and new downtown may be quite clean. The swimming pool is good ,has little one and big one, little one is suitable for kids. Breastfast is very nice.
the hotel is good. the only limitation is dirty enviroment outside of hotel.
