The room was comfortable and clean. The most jarring experience was arriving at the Inn and not finding a front desk to check in at. We arrived and couldn't even find the entrance. There is a restaurant that is attached to the inn but it was closed so we couldn't get in through there. We walked in to the building via an unmarked door into a very drab, utilitarian hallway. There were doors with numbers lining the hallway so we assumed that these were some of the rooms. We explored the building but didn't find a front desk. We called the telephone # of the inn but no one picked up and there was no voicemail. Apparently the inn doesn't even have a voicemail. We eventually got in touch with the owner via their personal cell phone after running into a guest at the inn that informed us that there is no front desk and the owner wasn't around. The owner was pleasant enough and she told us that "oh your keys are in the door to your room". I would have been ok with this had I actually been sent an email prior to my arrival to let me know what to expect. I didn't even know which room was ours and it's unrealistic to expect guests to figure this out on their own. We were just about to call up Visa to get a refund when we eventually got in touch with the owner.
