Pros: Nothing at the entrance to the building prepare you for what you are going to see and experience as soon as you pass through the door. Amazing place to stay and dine. Francine and Patric was so lovely and friendly, show us the huge house and tell us about it’s history. The room is actually at a size of large suite and decorated in wonderful way. The facility is huge and you have a lot of spaces to relax in. Dinner was amazing experience - it’s a mast. Breakfast was also great. The value for money is amazing. It was such surprising and pleasant experience, after two nights we were so sorry we had to leave.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is absolutely a very, very special place. The present owners have restored this 17th Century stone villa, originally built and designed by local Counts, and have successfully captured its original elegance, beauty and grandeur, while adding modern amenities and comforts that blend in perfectly -- such as the very large and comfortable bathroom in my room, or the narrow, refreshing pool, set in a sort of grotto. My room made me feel like I had been transported in time, with its high ceilings, stone fireplace, sweeping spaces and gilded edges. Florence gave us a guided tour through the property, taking us through a myriad of stately rooms with views of the Rhone, a sunny inner courtyard, and terraces on different levels. It is a very magical place, in my opinion, and I am very grateful to Florence and her husband for the work and passion that they have put in this enchanting palace. Bravo!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: THis Chambre de Hote was a beautiful little gem, the owners Patrik and Louren were fantastic, my only negative was, it would have been nice to have breakfast included, the evening meal was a true example of French cuisine with equally outstanding wine. Many Thanks and Best Wishes Darren G
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing refurbished old house, the hosts were super nice, and the dinner outstanding.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house was fantastic. The meal cooked for us was delicious and very well presented.
Cons: The upstairs family room was ok but would benefit from a make-over its a little drab and could be brighter and a bit more luxurious but still enjoyed the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a stunning building. We had a wonderful but too short a stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a truly beautiful chambre d’hotes. Stunning old, palatial building refurbished by owners to a very high standard. A unique experience. A wonderful cave - like pool was an inspired touch and very welcome. We had a fabulous meal cooked by the owners in the evening- the best meal of our 7 day trip to the south of France!! Don’t miss this wonderful treat.
Cons: Nothing - it was all perfect. A superb stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. There is not a minute that I didn't enjoyed. Patrick and Florence are fantastic people who will welcome you warmly. You will rapidly feel relax like at home, I know for sure that I will stay here again for my next trip. I highly recommend it. They will do all the necessary to accommodate you and do everything they can to meet your requirements and expectations.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. It's a very good place to stay. This is the second time for me to stay at this hotel and as a regular traveller for business purpose this is my favorite stay ever.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great option for overnight stay for us. Lovely hotel with great facilities and a very good restaurant. Modern and in great condition. The staff were courteous and efficient. Would definitely stay again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel for us when visiting friends in the area. We loved our room, no. 217, apart from the fact there is only a bath, no shower. Next year we shall opt for a room with shower. The room is comfortable with a large balcony overlooking the pool.
Cons: We have stayed at this hotel many times. It has had an extension, ten new rooms, parking was difficult this year. One evening we returned to our hotel around 9.30pm, the car park was so full we had to park in the road.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good and friendly staff, great rooms. The dinner was excellent and the service was nice. We felt relaxed the moment we arrived and the staff was helpful and made us feel welcome. We will surely visit again when we travel to the Côte d'Azure.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Instructions on how to find the property.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a suite with our two children and dog, the room was huge and we had a terrace that looked on to the pool. The area in front of the terrace was grass so perfect for the dog. The pool area was lovely, very clean and plenty of sunloungers. The bathroom was very large with a vast shower.
Cons: The main road ran straight past the hotel, ideal for getting back on to the motorway but you could see the traffic from the pool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, nice pool and outdoor area.
Cons: Some of the staff did not speak English. The food in the restaurant was incredibly disappointing. Completely tasteless, bland and expensive for what it was. The place is in the middle of nowhere and there wasn't really any option to have food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We used his hotel as a base for exploring he Ardeche gorge for a day before heading down to Provence. It was a lovely hotel. The room had a different layout to most hotel rooms. A better aspect for the outside terrace we had. The terrace outside your room is a nice place to spend the afternoon. The pool is generous (but deep, so young children won't be able to stand). Bonus was a complimentary minibar.
Cons: Not much to dislike. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance, but not a problem for us. The first night we drove a few minutes into Pierrelatte, and the second night drove just a few minutes over the river to Bourg-St-Andeol and ate very well in the village square.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upon early arrival, the staff kindly offered that we use the pool while waiting for the room to be ready; ideal after a long drive. The room was lovely and spacious, beds comfortable and a large balcony overlooking the pool and garden. We had lunch at the restaurant, the staff was once again so friendly and the food perfect The domaine is located near the crocodile farm, an hour away from avignon, near the forteresse of Mornas... lots to do! Overall had a wonderful stay and thank you to the lovely staff who were so friendly!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had trouble finding the Hotel as we couldn't get the address on our satnav even when we were quite close, travelling from Lyons direction. It is actually right beside the N7 and visible! However we turned to Waze for help and were sent a very circuitous route! Maybe age is against us. However Hotel very nice indeed. Staff OK although not sympathetic! Food lovely although my husbands steak tasty but rather tough. That happens in France!
Cons: The steak! Everything else perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had dinner and it was excellent, and service also.
Cons: We had to leave at 6 am and no one was around to check out. So we left a little note with the key. Also when you book make sure you request poolside.

Pros: We stopped in Pierrelatte as it was a convenient distance on our journey and intended to use it as a sleepover however we really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel was traditional with lovely staff, a clean and comfortable room and a good breakfast. When we had a wander into the town centre there was a small music festival on where we enjoyed having a drink and some food and people watching ! Pros: The town us sweet and just around the corner. This is a very old classic building and a little funky by American standards, some strange remodeling choices, but we were not in America. The proprietor and his wife are charming and work hard to make the place wonderful.

Pros: Very family Hotel close to the historic Center of Pierrelatte. The owners and the Personal where very friendly. Restaurants and Pubs are very close. Free parking. Nice Hotel for business trips and sightseeing in the Provence.
Cons: ???
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel's owner is very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet. Excellent position in the middle of the town, in a nice buiding. Parking available. Recommended
Cons: The air conditioner was not well located in our room (I do not know how it is in the others), so that it is adequately refrigerating the antebathroom only, not the bedroom. If you want the bedroom adequately refrigerated, you must regulate your AC on polar temperatures, which means that you need a winter coat to cross the antebathroom, if you want to avoid to get sick. If so, a ventilator in the rooms (and the AC switched-off) could be more helpful

Cons: Pool was closed already in the afternoon and they did not open it the next day. I selected this hotel because of the pool! The included breakfast was tiny, they were unable to serve a warm breakfast. Pros: Host was very friendly although her English was as limited as our French She provided a great dinner at a very reasonable price
Cons: Wi fi was poor It did not reach the room

Pros: The accommodation was in a separate building in the garden. It was very well appointed with a very comfortable double bed, separate toilet and a shower room. The towels were lovely. The bedroom was very cool as it has shutters and with the outside temperature of 40 degrees this was very welcome. We opted to have dinner which was a very wise choice. It cost 20€ per person and was delicious and plentiful. We had not realised that we needed to reserve a parking space but this was not a problem as non of the other guests had asked for parking. Breakfast was the best that we had on this trip and had a good variety of choices. Coffee especially was very good. Thank you Catherine and your daughter for making our stay so pleasant. We will definitely be back.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike

9.5 Excellent
Pros: View from room is superb, lovely spacious room and very welcoming staff. Good food - dinner and breakfast. This was our second visit and we’re looking forward to our next!
Cons: WiFi coverage/capacity a little poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in an old building which makes the experience even nicer, the rooms have views to the river. The breakfast was fantastic and super convenient to have a small taste of a medieval town
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Convenient for the motorway en-route south.
Cons: The hotel is rough around the edges, the room in particular was tired and in need of some tlc. The bathroom was small and only had a bath with a hand held shower attachment. Not great for a family room! The room wasn't air-conditioned, which although we were aware of, made the stay unbearable. The heat in the room was intense and keeping the windows open is the only option for fresh air. The hotel is next to a main road though and as such there is a lot of traffic noise when windows are open. Needless to say, no-one slept well. Staff were OK, but not didn't go out of their way to be welcoming.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fresh and varied breakfast. 2 excellent restaurants. Lovely situation on the banks of the Rhone, in a lovely old town. Proprietors readily available and helpful.
Cons: Only fault was the leaky shower head in the bathroom.
