Pirna Hotels

Hotel is very close to the railway station and only a 5 minute walk to the boat landing stage on the river. Rooms very clean and comfortable, fair selection for breakfast.

Some noise from road traffic if on the side of hotel facing main road but not too loud.

The hotel is right around the corner from the town's train station--very easy to get to without a car. It's also only a short walk to the old city and the castle. The hotel itself is nice and in good condition.

Other reviewers noted train noise; All the trains on that route are electric and usually quite quiet. However, it's also near a busy street--there was a bit of traffic noise. Nothing too bad though.

Hotel was clean & offered a large room with balcony & flower boxes. Breakfast was decent, including eggs, fruit, good breads etc. Pool was small but pristine. Front desk staff was friendly & helpful.

Front desk & hotel close around 10pm, so a late-arriving guest would have to ring proprietor's bell after that to check in. Some parking spots were quite tight.

The stay was comfortable, beautiful setting, excellent connection to downtown. If I have to go to Dresden again, I would stay there again.

From the desk to the restaurant the staff is absolutely superb.

$18 dollars for breakfast is just too high !!!

Room is great, in beautiful surrounding, and large enough to be comfortable with 2 small kids (4 and 5 YO). Best possible value for money. The kitchen is very helpful when travelling with children. Also, the concierge is knowledgeable and a big help.

You pay for the room, and that's what you get. Anything else is extra (and not cheap) - wireless interenet, breakfast, swimming pool, etc.

While I had booked a parking space, that wasn't available. The free spots were limited and I had to park in a 3h limit parking zone and finally I got a parking ticket. But the Hotel staff recognized their fault and they reimbursed the parking ticket and the prepaid parking.

The room was large, clean, and very accommodating for our family of six. Breakfast was outstanding, as well as overall service.

Really great staff! Did everything possible to make me feel confortable! Everybody (for the first time in a German Hotel) spoke English! Really Huge room!

The Inn Keeper, Sabine, was fastastic. She speaks some English but does help to know some German, but not essential

Well,somebody was complaining about staff not speaking English. I dont agree: Mrs. Sabine speaks English and well enough to be very well understood. The hotel is lovely. Is situated in a very peaceful area of Radebeul, quite close to Dresden and Meissen (of course, if you have a car, I don't know the public transport), is very clean and beautifully decorated with old style furniture. The parking space is large enough to accomodate quite a few guests, the breakfast was very diversified and tasty. The garden is splendid, too bad we've been there at the begining of December. Rooms are large and absolutely spotless with a very well suplied bathroom. I loved the attention we've got from the owner. It was an absolutely nice stay.

Maybe there should be some English speaking channels on TV, but this is a "problem" common to Germany and Austria and, in the end, we came to see Dresden.

The marvelous landscapes (Swiss Saxony) from the windows. The delicious breakfast.

The "cold" welcome. The "Gaststätte" (restaurant) was closed and the courtyard was dark as we arrived. There was no lights and no sign of anyone. The room was not well decorated.
