The original building is magnificent.... but don’t be fooled that you’ll be staying in an old room... the rooms are in a newly built ? Newly renovated stable....

Many things: the pool is not for children under 16...this is not made clear on the website. Beds were uncomfortable, not soft mattress but hard and cheap. TV didn’t work properly, poor lighting in rooms. The First staff member who greeted us was curt, rude and superficial. Cry unwelcoming and snooty. While the halls are great, I’ve never seen cheaper looking picture copies on walls... very strange. Would have been easy to get a replica oil, but these facsimile copies looked cheap and detracted from the otherwise very special interior.
