Pros: This beautiful Tuscan villa was the most romantic, intimate place in our italian vacation. Gianni was very friendly, polite and skillful person. We will never forget the enchanting view before and after the sun went down...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Giani was a very special host for us. He welcomed us with a homemade dinner (per request), always attentive to our needs and preferences during breakfast (I had the best scrambled eggs of my life), and gave us many tour tips. The room is comfortable and the view is amazing, perfect spot for the sunset. We had the pleasure to enjoy a pleasant evening, drinking some wine and cheese, while Giani was beautifully playing the piano in the back ! Indescribable!!! Thank you Giani for such special moment !!
Cons: The bath tub wasn't working.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, fantastic service from Gianni, spacious and comfortable room, wonderful aircon, the breakfast was delicious.. couldn’t recommend this place more! My friend and I felt so very welcome and had the best time over here. Gianni is a wonderful host and everything about this place shows how much he cares about your comfort: from the hammocks and tables in the garden, his insightful tips on what to do in the area, to the fact that you can use the fridge and bits from the kitchen if you want to eat in and take in the gorgeous view at sunset. It was a magical stay and would love to come back!
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect

Pros: The breakfast was a good range and the cappuccino was to die for. The host was fantastic with his maps and local knowledge ensuring we got the best from every day trip. Sun bathing in the garden with it's beautiful view of the Tuscany Valley with the sound of the host playing piano quietly in the back ground was the most relaxing experience ever. Definitely will be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was amazing and met us outside upon arrival. Upon check-in he gave us multiple maps and much appreciated inside information on local attractions, events, restaurants, shops, roads, etc. We went to a restaurant in town that he recommended and it was terrific! He plays the piano in the morning and in the evening and is very talented. The breakfast was homemade and plentiful with cakes, fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, and juices. He handmade some of the best scrambled eggs and the best cappuccino I have ever had! The rooms were great and cozy with fast WiFi and Air Conditioning in every room. The view from this place belongs on the cover of a travel magazine. We were genuinely sad to leave this place after 2 days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room and our host Gianni was very good with tips on the best way to get to all local attractions.
Cons: If I’m being really fussy it could have been a bit nearer to town but this is a small price to pay for the beautiful surroundings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect accomodation with a perfect view, breakfast and a very kind host! Rooms were clean and large! Totally recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most lovely host, Gianni who welcomed us with a smile and gave lots of useful tips for our trip. He prepared the best cappuccinos every morning. Good breakfast with local products. If you are planning on staying in Tuscany, this is definitely the place to choose. Beautiful surroundings and sunsets, peaceful atmosphere. Spacy and very clean rooms. You will not find a better place!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: we greatly appreciated the friendly service of all staff and at all times, our room was excellent and pool towels were provided.
Cons: the lunch menu could be less basic and all choices of the menu of the day should be available. Our first breakfast offered a variety of seasonal fruits, prepared as a fruit salad but the second day there was no fruit salad.

Pros: If I could give this hotel 11/10 I would. My partner and I loved absolutely loved it. The staff are so welcoming and kind. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and we ate there every night of our 4 nights. Fantastic halfway point for a lot of the attractions and the staff helped us out with where to go. It was truely a fantastic Tuscan experience. The pool at the end of a day sightseeing was lovely. If we ever return to Tuscany I would return here without hesitation, I have friends planning to travel to Tuscany and this is where I would tell them to go.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is excellent! Location and the terrace is perfect; with the stunning views of Tuscan hills, vineyards and olive trees. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and clean! The restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant, specially if you can sit outside. The food is great and vine is superb - of course! The service is a real first class! Swimming pool is great, right on the cliff with the spectacular view. The Villa has a small SPA, very charming as well! The premises, though historic, are kept in a very good condition. Everything is taking care off. The owners are very nice and kind, willing to help and eager to fulfill the guests' wishes and extra demands. Many thanx to Giacomo for upgrading the room on our second visit, and for being such a great host! We will be coming again, that's for sure!

5.8 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: I made reservation for four (4) superior double rooms and got email confirmation. Two rooms where in main building, main entrance. One with side entrance from parking. Two of these rooms where on ground floor. Far from ideal but reception staff explained that guests who book via booking.com gets worse rooms (?!). Fourth room was in nearby building with entrance from local street outside property. It was less than half size compared to other rooms and bathroom was a joke. It was charged as superior double ?!. Our complaints made no difference.

Pros: perfect location
Cons: wish i can stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful warm welcome from the family for us and our friends- we were glad to introduce them to the Lecchi magic. Wonderful food with home-sourced vegetables and meat, and flexibility for different diets. Unrivalled hilltop location, patio and history.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The absolutely stunning location, the wonderful family owners/managers, the very tasty meals in the restaurant, the lovely grounds (including the very comfortable pool area with the best view in Italy), the comfortable and well-appointed guest rooms.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s like a dream and a trip back in time.
Cons: There was a wedding party in the villa and it was LOUD
7.0 Good
Pros: Die Lage, die Personal ist meistens freundlich.
Cons: In our suite I found small things (buttons, old lipstick, etc.) that did not belong to me. For me, it means that the rooms were poorly cleaned and the garbage remained from previous guests. My husband was bitten by a spider or bed bugs at night in the room. Because of this, we spent most of the day at the hospital, as his hands were very swollen. He must now take a lot of medicine. We ask at the hotel to inspect the room and give us another one. At the receptionthe said us that my husband was bitten in the forest (outside), but we were not in the forest or walking. And they did not want change the room for us. We also wanted to reduce the price of the suites because of all this troubles, but the manager at the reception told us, we have to solve this with Booking.com. This is very sad, since we paid quite a lot for our room. In the toilet near our suite for two days there was no toilet paper, and the shower hose in our room was broken and one part of the shower just fell off.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A truly beautiful villa and winery, built in 1126 so full of history, restored and maintained to a very high standard. Superb restaurant Osteria 1126 (suggest you book in advance - it’s very popular for dinner). Breakfast was lovely, outside in front of the main villa, overlooking the pool with stunning views. The pool was so refreshing with enough sunbeds while we were there, and great views. Thete’s also a lovely short walk up an avenue of cypress trees to the top of a small hill covered in grape vines and olive trees which we walked freely around - along with deer visiting from the woods. Also, stunning views to St Gimignano from the top. Our room was just above the restaurant which was very convenient. It was actually an apartment with large lounge, kitchen and really cozy bedroom up a spiral staircase. Air-con both upstairs and downstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We recommend the wine tour and tasting - the wine and olive oil produced at Cinciano is all delicious - the wine-maker is very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. The location was great for getting to Siena (c.35 mins), St Gimignano (c.30 mins), Florence (c.1hr), Pienza in Val d’Orcia (1.5hrs), and just 1.5hrs from Pisa. Plenty of free car parking space in the villa too. All in all we had a fantastic stay, thank you very much Cinciano!
Cons: Nothing. If I was forced to find something to say, it would be that the shower was adequate. That’s it! It was absolutely functional, just not gushing.

Pros: Stefania’s warmth and dedication was outstanding. The place is located in the heart of the beautiful Tuscany, a great villa well kept and comfortable facilities. We would strongly recommend it !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The lady was super friendly and welcoming! And the place is simply wonderfull :) clean, good breakfast with lot’s of choices a nice swimmingpool area and close to the nearest cities. The road to the B&B is a little offroad but we knew this before and found it not a problem at all we arrived at the night and drove straight from Florence to the B&B without any problems. The lade sent us good instructions. When the morning rises we enjoyed an amazing view and the road to and from the hotel give also amazing views!!! Amazing stay and we definitely recommend this jewel!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! The host is nice and the view is stunning. Perfect for a quiet getaway
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We rented the entire villa for our family of 12 people. Stefania, the host was super nice, helped us a lot with planning the stay and took care of perfect breakfast. The location is great with a stunning view. The villa is vary comfortable. The pool was clean large and relaxing. Very recommended.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our host Stefania was just amazing, she gave us a lot of good tips for the restaurants and trips, too. The swimming pool was clean and with the perfect temperature. Pool towels for free. Room cleaned every day. A/C working properly. Silent environment for sleeping /if we don't mention loud neighbors doing unspeakable things/. Nice surroundings. Delicious breakfasts in front of villa and sometimes the rest from the breakfast was available during the rest of the day. Coffee and tea machine available all day, all night for free. Close for trips - San Gimignano, Firenze, Vinci, Pisa, ...
Cons: The last 2 km road is really terrible. Thin walls. Small space for the wet towels and swimsuits. The fact that we didn't have a chance to use the kitchen while there were owners friends or owner himself /not 100% sure/ who could use the kitchen. It was weird situation. I understand that if the house is somebody's that they want to use the whole house but they shouldn't have guests there because then there differences between "normal" guests and there "privileged".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view, very clean, and Stefania is a lovely and attentive host :) Toscana at a best!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect host, A very nice breakfast and always something extra. The view is amazing.

Pros: We loved everything! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Quiet, secluded, gorgeous views, an amazing Infiniti pool, quaint and clean rooms, fantastic views, unbelievable breakfast and top it off, an incredible owner and host that loves taking care of her guests and takes pride in managing the property. We would return here without a question. Look no further! Villa Del Pino is a gem!
Cons: Nothing! Our visit was perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic and tranquil location, friendly staff, great food, clean and comfortable room, what is not to love about this place!
Cons: The only suggestion is a little better internet connection speed. I was working a little from my laptop and the internet speed was a little slower than normal, but most people won't be here for the internet.

Cons: Only real shortcoming was the aircon not working well.

Pros: New, clean, the staff is friendly and the value for money is outstanding.
Cons: There were some small things like the shower by the pool not working.

Pros: Beautiful location with stunning views. Swimming pool that was very much appreciated as we had very hot weather (in July) and gave us a chance to relax by the pool inbetween sightseeing. Staff were very helpful and friendly and food was very good. The breakfast was included but we also had lunch one day and evening meals twice.. Exceptionally clean everywhere. i would recommend this hotel.
Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff are friendly. The breakfast and dinner are great
Cons: The road that access to the hotel is a bit of challenge. The road is narrow and only allow one car at a time. Its quite scary when you are either forced to give way to an on coming car or squeeze your way through the path without going off the road when the other car allows you to pass first.

Pros: Beautiful place. Quite. Excellent location to visit Tuscany.
Cons: WiFi working poorly

Pros: Receptionist Francesco was great! He was attentive and helpful. Room was nicely furnished, big, we had a small balcony which was nice when we wanted to sit outside and drink wine. Breakfast was rich.

Pros: Location is fantastic, nothing around you, but still very close to Florence and Siena (30 min drive) and 10min from San Gimignano, in the very middle of Tuscany. The staff is helpful, you don't notice them but they are here for you. Old fashion stone house, comfort and clean room and toilette, the breakfast is self service but very good for the price, surrounding around the house is FANTASTIC, trees is all you see, birds are all you hear. Very nice yard for sitting at night and lots of toys for children.

Pros: Perfect tuscan country house, located up a small hill. Outside the house there are many mediteranean plants and flowers, places to sit... Really beautiful! The hosts were really friendly. We had a dog with us and they were super nice about it. We also had a kitchen (shared with just 1 more room) where we could cook. Good location for Siena, Florence...
Cons: A bit cold, because we were there in the spring and the house is made of stone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay was really nice! Claudia met us outside, despite it was rather late in the evening. Great location, very close to S.Gimignano and Siena, thank to that we managed to visit both. My mother and I liked the hotel, it's a pity the stay was so short. Overall the impression was that we were at friends or family place, so friendly and cosy. When I was leaving, I even got a present from the owner - a cap! With warm regards, Natalia

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outside of Poggibonsi but really easy and fast to get - 7 min drive, same to big supermarket COOP. Though you need a car as it seems no public transport is available. For those who are looking to quiet, countryside place after day of sightseeing Tuscan cities/landscapes. Nothing really to complain about - great host (fast and easy communication, warm welcome, apartment and property guidance), great place and area! Lots of space outside of the house - vineyards and veggie/fruit, swimming pool with big space around it. There is a bbq outside you can use. Parking place right in front of the frontdoors. From the window you get beautiful view on the valley and little town on the hill. It is super quiet - we were only people in the house at a time. Again, people owing this property are very friendly and they fully respect your privacy. For families with little kids it is a great spot - lots of playground around. I wish we could be there during the summer to sit around the nature outside of the house - small terrace available. There is even a baby cot with mattress available.
Cons: I was thinking about things we didn't like and could't find anything, really... It could have been closer to town (it is only 7 minutes drive!!!) and there could have been cosy osteria accross the street (no place to eat in walking distance). But then, with such price and all the things on we-liked-list, I guess this is anyway highly recommended place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great peaceful location, relaxing after a long day of sightseeing . Kids lived the pool and garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The villa was beautiful, in a stunning location with a lovely pool. Had everything we required for a very enjoyable holiday. The location was excellent too and was great to be able to visit local villages and the larger cities such as Florence & Siena.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, the location is great for exploring Tuscany. House and garden are well maintained. The pool is clean and decent size. I would like to come back again.
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic. The view was wonderful. The accommodations were basic but clean and spacious.
Cons: Kitchen facilities were minimal. There was a full size fridge, stove and an oven, but no instructions on how to use the oven (or it was broken, not sure). While there were plenty of dishes and pots, there was nothing to make coffee or toast for breakfast. (I realize that toast is not a normal breakfast item in Italy.) If you will be staying here, make sure you bring something to clean the dishes with including dish soap and a rag. While I understand that the price does not lend itself to many amenities, basic items could be provided for those of us staying only a few days. We did not cook as it would have been too awkward. There is a large dining table which I am sure is underused. The TV is in a corner right next to the couch, so it is difficult to watch.

7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful spot, quiet and peaceful. Very large appartment. Two terraces. Great kitchen. Lovely swimming pool. Great location, loving tuscany!
Cons: Bathroom was broken and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. So we had to flush the toilet with a Bucket water..not very hygienic. A bit outdated furniture.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and historical, overlooking the hills of Chianti region of Tuscany. Individual apartments in a old village setting, and quiet area of Chianti. Apartments are very spacious and clean. We were able to sit outside and overlook the hills from lawn chairs they had available. Kitchen had everything that anyone would need to cook meals if they wanted to. Beautiful pool, although we did not use the pool (water temperature too cold for us). Staff, especially at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bar and restaurant (Casa Bandini) were closed when we were there (except for the free breakfast included with our stay). We were very disappointed that the cost of the property wasn't adjusted for the fact that not all of the facilities were open. We stayed Wednesday night through Saturday morning, October 18-21. There was no advance notice that the restaurant or bar would be closed. Thus I gave a rating of not so good value for what we paid for our stay and there was no attempt by management to adjust the pricing. Also, we did not know there would be an additional tax that was added onto the cost of the stay (maybe our fault for not reading all terms and conditions). The location is down a gravel road, a little hard to find if it is dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, comfortable room and great breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool Restaurant Playground
Cons: A bit dark in the room
5.5 Okay
Pros: Wonderful location on a ridge overlooking a wooded valley
Cons: The hotel was deserted because the owners had closed after we booked to prepare for a wedding. We were the only people on site and the owners seemed to live elsewhere. No lnterest in providing any service such as clean towels or anything to drink & no one to request one from. Bearing n mind that the property is 1.3 Kim's from the nearest road & 3.5 Kim's from nearest town you need to arrive with supplies! Although we had booked because we knew ther was a resteraunt we were told it was closed on the evening we arrived. This meant finding our way to the town to eat & even with more difficulty back through a one way system in the dark. Restaurant appeared to be open the following day but nobody went during our stay. Decor was rustic but not comfortable. We were the only people at the hotel & shown a bungalow as far away from the facilities as possible. Amazingly a "suite" became available near the facilities at a 'small premium' of €100. This comprised a bedroom and a kitchenette. Bathroom was very small with a small shower with sliding doors at right angles that are common in downmarket hotels. All accommodation is in bungalows which have tiny windows and are very dark. I guess this place is ideal if you want to self cater & use the swimming pool in the hot weather. On paper it sounded lovely but for us the reality did not live up to the dream.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a great location for San Gimignano and is also a good base for exploring the Chianti Hills. The pool area was very relaxing and there was plenty of sun loungers. The lady at breakfast was friendly and accommodating. Our bathroom was very nice.
Cons: The breakfast was basic and more homemade options would be better. Although the staff in general were friendly, there were a couple of members of staff who simply felt it was not appropriate to even say good morning which was a shame; we suspect this was the Manager. Our room was dark and the bed was basic and not very comfortable.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: The place was totally misrepresented and way over priced. I honestly feel that we were ripped off badly. The booking indicated a restaurant on site, but the restaurant is closed during winter and there was no mention on this. The host was completely unapologetic. We arrived after a long drive expecting to be able to at least have the first night's dinner sorted, but no such luck. Dinner involved a torturous 20 minute drive at night through very difficult conditions in a place we had not seen by daylight yet. The room is absolutely terrible, with no redeeming features at all. The bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor with a dangerous vertical ladder (not a staircase) to climb. The host seemed to think that putting a mattress on the wall to catch somebody if the fall solved the problem. We have no idea why we got this terrible room as the place was not booked out. There is a small kitchenette, but the hosts did not supply a single tea bag, sprinkle of salt or a sachet of sugar nothing. Absolutely no basics at all - completely empty bar fridge and that was that. On arrival the host offered us a couple of bottles of wine, but then charged these to our credit cards after we left. Fair enough, but no discussion about costs and the wine was stupidly expensive. We were supplied a bit of wood for the fireplace, but the chimney did not work and smoked the entire flat out on New Years Eve. We had to put the fire out and leave doors and windows open for a long time in freezing weather to get rid of smoke. The biggest single problem was the lack of any proper showering facility. The bathroom was equipped with a bath just large enough to hold a ten-year old child and a hand held shower adapter. No curtain or any reasonable facility. Showering or bathing was simply impossible and we had to resort to doing our best with a face cloth. Horrible experience. Lastly the hosts were simply nowhere to bee seen after we checked in. Nobody to ask for help or advice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located for touring Tuscany and the surroundings. Extremely relaxed and peaceful, perfect for a laid back holiday.
Cons: The restaurant didn’t serve lunch and our room didn’t have a kitchen, so basically you need to venture out to at least the closest town to eat during the day.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel itself is very unique. The weather was not very good for us so we did not get to enjoy the pool but it looked nice and clean.
Cons: The location is difficult to get to (two gps systems sent us in different directions) and not really central to anything. There is nothing to see in the town itself. The breakfast was sparse (although coffee was good) and the waiter was very angry at us for sitting at the wrong table even though nothing was marked to let us know we shouldn't sit there. He let us know more than once : / Also, they need more staff. Went in to office more than once and no one was anywhere to be found. Also, if you require wifi, definitely do not stay here. Does not work in rooms at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant Very helpful staff Undercover location to hang laundry Beautiful location.
Cons: Had to request heat be turned on almost every evening. Once on, it was very comfortable. Required driving on very rough, narrow dirt roads to reach facility, however once you have reached paved roads it is very convient to Siena, Florence, Volterra and other areas in Tuscany.
7.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful landscape, quiet, comfortable, friendly atmosphere. The hotel seems to be a former little vilage of Tuscany, which gives the perfect atmosphere for those wishing to experience a real Tuscany experience. We traveled with locals from Tuscany which all agreed that the hotel has a very authentic decoration of a tipical Villa Toscana. Definitaly recommended to enjoy the Tuscany country side.
Cons: It was indeed quite difficult to find as there was not enough signs throughout the road. Shower had no curtains which made it quite difficult to enjoy a nice shower without wetting the whole bathroom.
7.7 Good
Pros: I like how the whole hotel looks, buildings with surrounding. Very romantic place and very italian.
5.3 Okay
Cons: the room had not any view of the hills and wifi internet wasnt there
7.7 Good
Pros: Great location in the beautiful Tuscan country side. The owners are nice and the restaurant on site is absolutely brilliant. The old borgo is fantastic for anyone with an interest in history. I wold recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing and the host was really lovely.
Cons: Hot water wasn’t working at the time but these things happen! Not a big issue
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, the fulfills your demands. Quiet place with nice pool, fantastic views and close to RA Firenze-Siena, you can reach many interesting places in regions within short time. The accommodation is simple, but in summer time absolutely perfect.
Cons: everything was fine
9.5 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived from Florence at Poggibonsi station, the staff offered to pick me up by car. I was warmly welcomed and shown my small but cosy and spotlessly clean room, where I opened the window to a beautiful view. The house and its surroundings were very, very quiet (I could hear the crickets). Breakfast was ample, with great coffee and fruit from the gardens. For exploring the region, a car is convenient. I didn't mind not having one, because I was there for a wedding and had others friends staying in Poggibonsi. Also, when staff members needed to drive into town, they kindly offered me a ride. Unfortunately, time was lacking to have a swim in the beautiful pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: An exceptional unbelievable fantastic services from Gabrio, Martina and Nicoleta that no other B&B can come close based on my travelling to 40 over countries in 100+ cities. The room and facilities are great!! You can have a visit to the vineyard and seeing apple tree and pear tree within 200 meters.
Cons: Location is a challenge for people who does not drive. However, considering all the great people, facility, room and breakfast you are going to receive during your stay guarantee to justify the location inconveniences.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a really wonderful time at Tenuta il Tresto! The place lies in lovely tuscan surrounding, around 2-3km from Poggibonsi City Center. As we didnt come with a car, it is around a 40min walk from Poggibonsi to Tenuta il Tresto (the last km, slightly uphill), so simply be aware of that, meaning it involves a bit more planning when going shopping or visiting places. The owner Gabrio was super nice and attentive and helped us with any question or request we had! The appartment was spacious and equiped with all basic living and kitchen utensils. The outside court features a barbeque area, lovely meadows and a pool area. We felt very relaxed and peaceful there and would definitely come again!
6.7 Good
Pros: The family running the place was extremely nice and friendly! We felt like very welcomed houseguests when arriving, and were really well taken care of during our entire stay at the place. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast superb -especially the homemade marmelade that was beyond words! We just had to buy some for home as well :)
Cons: Location is a bit tricky, but luckily the friendly owners are willing to help you when you call them.
7.7 Good
Pros: quality of the welcome

7.5 Good
Cons: The room was advertised as having a fire place, but it turns out this was just a hole in the wall with paper and cardboard stuffed into it. When we asked about the fireplace and how we should get it started, we were told that - for our safety - we could not use the fireplace. A bit disappointing.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice swimming pool and big room with bathroom. Staff was super helpful and very nice! They produce their own products so you can stock up on homemade marmalade and honey if you wish to.
Cons: The property was a bit expensive taking into account location and standard. Wi-Fi was very poor.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location was good! The spacious garden and clean refreshing swimming pool behind the accommodation brought us great fun. An hour or two after checking in around six o’clock we went for only a five minute walk to an amazing restaurant called ‘Nostrano’ were we drank good wine and ate lovely food. The women of the family that run the place were very kind. Especially Gabriella, whom makes you feel so welcome.
Cons: Well... we did not have a great start. We where welcomed by a young man who didn’t really knew what was going on. My boyfriend had to tell him he should check our documents for registration. I had to ask him for a key to the apartment, which he had to look for. After I locked the door I could jus pull it open with little to no force. It seemed that he also forgot to tell us that that we had to utilize different mechanisms and locks to secure our doors. Later that day the lovely ladies of the family came to tell us that he also informed us incorrectly about breakfast policies. Then the room, it lacked the basics. No bedside table, only two (hidden) electricity sockets that were taken by lamps. The fire place was filled with old papers and carton boxes which reminded me of an abandoned haunted house. There was a door that opened, but the doorway was closed by a sort off aluminum and isolation construction. I encountered 6 or 7 spiders. And the room wasn’t that big, so that a lot. I think a clean environment wouldn’t attract that many insects. And I won’t even start about the mosquitos. There was also zero pressure on the pipes, because rain hits me harder then the shower I had this morning, after the shower door almost fell out of the shower cabin. And the WiFi was completely unusable for us. Sadly, it felt that the mother of the owning family really tried her best and meant to give us a great experience. We just did not have that.

Pros: Position and cleanses of the hotel, plus the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very good hotel for budget price and excellent location to visit the Toscany Hills.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice in terms of value for money. The breakfast is very tasty, croissants were amazing and super fresh
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff. Gentlemen at the reception and ladies at the breakfast were exceptionally nice and professional. The location is perfect for 1-day trips to San Gimignano, Siena or Florence, however, Poggibonsi also has things to be visited. Additionally, at the breakfast they presented us with a lot of gluten free options (including bread, muffin, croissant, cereals...) when we asked. We really enjoyed our Poggibonsi part of the vacation thanks to Hotel Alcide.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Wet carpet and in poor condition
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast perfect. Room clean
Cons: Wifi terrible. It doesn't work. Too slow. The hotel is old
6.8 Good
Cons: wifi internet connection was very slow.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Room too small for three beds; the space between the bed and the closet is too narrow. Bathroon too narrow and therefore unpractical. Bathroom unsafe; electrical socket comes loose from the wall; electricity at the Fluorescent lamp not protected. Cupboard needs replacement (cannot be opened; rhumboid) They tried to fix it but failed. See pictures Restaurant (dinner) very disappointing; deep fried seafood; poor meat; waiter speaks Italian only.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind and helpful staff. They have gluten free meals!
7.5 Good
Pros: Cozy room: the bed was really comfortable! Large breakfast, unfortunately mainly made with non genuine products.
Cons: Cleaning ladies were noising in the morning outside our room and wake us up quite early (8am).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I had been there before and, being gluten free I had had a bad experience during breakfast, but this time they werewell prepared and offered me several options and were ready to offer me a specific thing I eat in the morning (remembering my request of the month before) The staff is very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place even if the rooms are really old style they have all the needed comfort including Wi-Fi in the rooms and AC which works fantastically (no noise and mostly no air in your face when you sleep)
Cons: the style of the hotel is quite old and rooms and bathrooms are pretty small...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has an excellent location for a star trip those who come with a rented car. The service and staff were excellent and even made sure to open our dining room at 11pm because we got hungry and everything around was closed.
Cons: There is no bar open in the evening in the area to finish the day before returning to the hotel.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bathroom and shower were great and bed was comfy
Cons: Hotel is not 4 star, maybe the day it was finished refurb but not now. Noise I'm the room from the pipes was awful. Food from the restaurant was drowned in salt making it so I couldn't eat it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. The hotel near a big supermarket, so it was very good to grab a snack or buy something you need. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has open parking in front of the building.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Can think of anything
Cons: The noise of other guests at 6 in the morning. this hotel caters for tours leaving early in the morning with no consideration for other guests. By the time you get to breakfast what's left is cold and not a lot left. The hotel manager couldn't care less. The staff were nice but not enough of them in the restaurant and as such it was a job to get a clean table. Its a ten minute walk to the centre and station.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is pretty good with a walking distance supermarket. It's a good place to be the headquarter in Toscana as the other cities are pretty close ( however you need a car).
Cons: Nothing
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Room rate was relatively cheap; interestingly, the fare for the following night was ten times the one we paid
Cons: Personnel at the reception desk and in the breakfast room was not particularly pleasant - the latter did not say “hello” not even once. The hotel looked definitely rundown and in desperate need for a substantial redecoration. In particular, even if they apparently tried to renovate somehow the rooms (floor and some of the furniture, even if that looked cheap, too), the walls would need some repainting. But the bathroom is probably the most critical aspect. Hinges at the door were rusty, the wood frame was partly rotten, the toilet flush only partially worked, the water tap in the bathtub had some leakage and the lid in front of the air duct above the toilet was missing. Since we arrived and throughout the night we could hear some water noise coming from the ceiling of the whole floor - not only in our room, that could be heard in the corridor as well. Breakfast was poor: little choice, served in a gloomy room with ruined walls.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Comfy bed, large, clean shower-room.
Cons: There was no restaurant open ( web site said it had 2). No food to be had for a few miles as all restaurants booked. Breakfast was chaotic when 2 coach loads of Chinese tourists polished off acres of food like locusts. And their selection was better than ours!
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location for reaching San G. and Siena by train. Overall more comfort for the same budget vs. the major cities in Toscany. Free parking.
Cons: There was wifi signal in our room. Complained to the staff whic said they would look into it. Each time (4 times) I went to the front desk I had to explain from the begining what was the problem. Each time they would say they will check and nothing happened. The second day this was corrected when they gave me a different room because I figured out that only our room which was at the begining of the coridor does not have wifi reception. Their manager was helpful and helped us change the room. Still the whole first day without internet I had to sit at the reception to have wifi signal which I needed for work. The staff seemed not to have any idea that the rokm does not have wifi signal at all and they were ignoring my requests for changing the room The night staff at the front desk does not speek English. Most of the room does not seem to have this problem, but if you are unlucky to get the first room at the coridor, this is what happens.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Distance to supermarket &train
Cons: Walls were dirty Fridge filthy & not running properly Broken Glass from roof in lift all over floor bar not open .Bottled water not in room would be nice to have one per person as most have supplied.
7.7 Good
Pros: Very good hotel situated between Firenze and Siena from where you can make trips to the beautiful Chianti area, Moteriggioni and San Gimignano. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with advices.
7.3 Good
Pros: Very efficient stuff, fair restaurant. Unfortunately not a least one chair to sit on in the room. The rest is OK
4.3 Okay
Pros: easy to find, very close to the highway
Cons: very low quality breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: you have the car this place is the best at good value!
6.7 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel, if you have a car and you want to visit Toscana, this is a perfect choice
4.8 Okay
Pros: Ease of access. Stores, restaurants nearby. Breakfast included. Free and easy parking.
Cons: Hotel very rundown. Internet promised but none--absolutely none--available.
5.6 Okay
Pros: The accessibility from the Firenze-Sienna highway
Cons: The first night one of the beds was broken, so they had to change the room. The 2 dinners we had at the hotel were so-so.

Cons: Nothing - everything was amazing!
