ABOUT SPACE WELCOME to peacefull, green area of NP Plitvice lakes! Let our home be your home for few days:) If you decide to visit us, you can choose from three separate houses, but at same yard as one. Big wooden OAZA MIRA is biggest - suitable for max 5 person. Here some description of it: - there are common door at the entrance from the yard always open - when you enter stairs leads you up to your place where are doors with keys we give you when you come - there are 2 rooms with double bed`s - spacious kitchen and dinning room in one, with all cooking appliances - other stuffs in kitchen: kettle, coffee maker, gas stove, refrigerator. - living room with 2 sofas (one is pulling out as a sleeping place) + big TV (normal, not cable) and stereo - bathroom with essentials (toilet paper, soap, towels, hair dryer.) GUEST ACCES Behind the house is terasse which is common area. If you prefer to be alone, there is lots of part around the house which you can find just for yourself:) Everything you find around house is for your use, also fruits and vegetables which can be found around. There is place where we make barbecue, but it works on old way - with wood:) We can help you with that or enjoy meal together, why not? Big parking area is just in front of all three houses and free and safe for use. Internet access is available, but we are working on that to be as better it can. There are also places like bars and restaurants where you can use wifi for free. p.s. If you are sitting outside at terasse, it is quite good signal for wifi. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS OVERVIEW Best way to experiance it is to take a walk around and through the most beautifull part of National Park. Till there, you dont even need a car. Just walk till the nearest entrance through the wood and nearby villages. It takes about half an hour, 2-3 km. Than you will enjoy all day walking, driving in panoramic boat and panoramic bus. Depends on how much you would like to see. Except this part, there is also a lots of things you can try, lets say few: - Medveđak hiking trail - enter is from Entrance 2 of Park, characterised by three peaks: Oštri Medveđak (889 m), Tupi Medveđak (868 m) and Turčić (801 m), with old beech forests that had been left to natural development. - Explore the instructive trail 'Čorkova Bay (21km) and Plitvica (9km)' -The forests and meadows are home to various wildlife species such as bear, wolf, roe deer, red deer, lynx and wildcat. Therefore, if you are lucky enough, you may encounter some of these on the way! - Baracas caves - nature of our ancestors, clean and beautiful in its simplicity, but slowly and increasingly forgotten by the modern man. Enter the underworld and discover an astounding world hidden beneath the earth, generously letting you in. - Rastoke ( Plitvice in small) - like it said, you will see how looks Plitvice lakes in small, in village caled Slunj. You will find great restaurants and good fairies walking - like you are in fairy tale:) - Kutarevo bears sancturay - this is an option if you dont mind driving one hour to see wild bears and this beautifull place with volunteers from all over the world. Best what you can do is to leave your obligations and bad feelings at home, enjoy fresh air, try clean spring water and listen a sounds of water and animals:) OTHER THINGS TO NOTE We like to stay in touch with you till your arrival day. It is good when we know when you will come, just to organise better around your welcome. So, lets stay in touch just one,two days before your arrival. We both work in shifts and sometimes it could happen that we will not be at home when you plan to come or house could not be prepared in usual time. But, we belive we can arrange it together before your arrival and find some good compromise around your comming time:) This is one reason more why we like to stay in touch before your arrival. Only what we are asking is that you come after 3 PM, or, if you are preparing to come earlier, to let us know in time. Also, departure time should be before 10AM, to give us a time to clean house before next guests come. Behave and feel like you are at your own home, that`s the best rule:)
