Pros: Very clean and comfortable! Had a great nights sleep! Awesome breakfast made by David, especially the coffee! Thank you both for sharing your home! Hope to see you in the US someday!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were wonderful. Very attentive and spoke English. The accommodation is modern and clean but retains elements of the original building. It's set in a large garden and had storage for our bicycles. Only a couple of minutes walk from restaurants and the bus stop to Mont St Michel. Excellent place to stay for a couple of nights, or longer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, in a quiet little town just a short time drive to Mont Saint Michel. Good breakfast and room was clean and comfortable. McDonald’s nearby if you arrive late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the location, the comfortable bed, the location, everything was fine
Cons: can't think of amything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great since it's within a 5 minute walk to the train station and the B&B is very tasteful and attractive. They let us store our bags with them until the room was ready. We were also very impressed with the breakfast spread - croissants, pan au chocolate, bread and cheese, cereal, yogurt with fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. The couple who own Mont B and B were extremely helpful with giving us the latest schedules and recommendations for restaurants and speak perfect English. Also, if you miss the shuttle bus to Mount St. Michel, they will take you there for just 10 euros. The outside garden is also a marvel and is a testimony to the love that the owners have put into their B and B. Our room was well lit and had a big window looking out onto the garden. We wish that we had booked another night just to relax and enjoy the garden. Great feng shui!
Cons: We actually really liked everything and that's unusual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming and comfortable place. Within easy cycling distance of Mont St Michel. Great breakfast and nice garden to relax in. The owners are a lovely couple. This is a great option for the area. A lot of nearby places are very overpriced and not as nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sue and David were extremely helpful with excellent tips for exploring Mont-St-Michel, restaurant suggestions for Pontorson, and prepared an EXCELLENT breakfast. We would highly recommend Mont B&B for its comfort and cleanliness, garden/patio, location (proximity to Mont-St Michel), cute/personal feel, the breakfast, the value, and the incredibly welcoming hosts.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is just the perfect place. Beautiful B and B, renovated to a high standard by the wonderful owners. The garden has plenty of seating areas for chilling out in the tranquille surroundings. No noise, peaceful with bird song. Breakfast was a lovely French buffet with home made food too. This is the perfect location for touring. Close to Mont Saint Michel and the Bretagne town of Saint Malo is less than 1 hour. Both are stunning! As we said to the owners, we will be back next year for a longer visit! Merci pour toute.
Cons: No issues
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts- welcoming and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the property were very kind and the level of hospitality was beyond our expectactions. The hotel and room themselves were very clean. The location was also very conveninent as it was next to the main street. The breakfast was delicious too, especially the Pain au Chocolat’s!
Cons: The shower didn’t drain water fast enough and pooled up a little, but it wasn’t a huge problem as there were more than enough towels. Also, it would been better to have a seperate shampoo and body wash instead of a one liquid for all solution.

Pros: Nicole and Pierre were the best hosts! They made sure everything about the stay was perfect. Nicole arranged dinner reservations and even a massage for us. One morning we had to leave by 6:15am and they woke up early and had breakfast for us. The room had extra special touches to make us comfortable like water, tea, coffee, candies and cookies. Also, the house was impeccably clean.

Very kind, taking care of everything and providing very helpful recommendations (as visiting Mont Saint Michel Abbey at night or the local beaches to go with our daughters). The house is beautiful, very welcoming, decorated with a lot of style and charm. They have a wonderful garden. The breakfast is excellent with a great variety of home-made products (yoghourt, cakes, jams, crepes...). The location is perfect to visit Mont Saint Michel and some other villages in the surroundings, as Saint Malo, Dinan...

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality and cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very nice and forthcoming. We were positively surprised by the bed comfort and our kids just adored the pool and the garden.
Cons: The place hosts two families on the second floor (owners live on the first floor) and we felt this was too crammed. The lounge area on the second floor was shared and if one family has taken it, the other has to stay in the room where there's really not a lot of space besides the beds. (one can go outside, if the weather is good, though).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. An enjoyable short stay for the family
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room very good, breakfast first class. Owners: excellent reception and couldn't be more helpful. Garden beautiful.
Cons: Only criticism would be location for travellers without a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Very impressed with our room and bathroom, there was lots of space. House is modern and very clean. Lovely pool and garden area with plenty of seating to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was delicious, lots of it was homemade too. Our son was very happy with the play area upstairs which also has facilities to make/heat and eat your own food. Our hosts Cathy and Thierry are lovely people and looked after us very well. Great facilities for families all round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, the hosts (Thierry and Cathy) took the time to advise us every day about the region, lend us their bikes and even made the (already delicious) breakfast slightly different every day. They were very friendly and welcoming. I would very much recommend this place to my friends and family.

Pros: Veronique was an amazing hostess. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, providing us with a thorough orientation to the area and suggestions about how to make the most of our time there. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner on our night there was a picnic on the building's grounds looking out over a beautiful meadow at Mt. Saint Michelle in the distance. Just beautiful. Great for our family of four.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is THE PLACE to stay when coming to Mont Saint Michel. Thanks so much and we will be coming back often.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was professional, attentive and friendly from the minute we went through the gate. The location is really good - very close to the shuttle bus taking people to the Mont-St-Michel, but without the hustle and bustle of people, which the other hotels close by seem to have. It's also an easy, flat walk (about 2.5 kms but easy to do) if you decide you want to walk. Veronique is obviously passionate about her business and provides great information about the Mont eg best times and places to eat. The breakfast she provides is an extensive (and lovingly prepared) contintenal breakfasts. If we returned to the Mont, she'd be the place we'd choose to stay.
Cons: Not a dislike, but our GPS had difficulty finding the location - persist though, it's well worth it!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a very nice time. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
Cons: This is just a small suggestion that maybe you can teach foreigners how to unlock the entrance door as I was locked out of the house when no one was home. It was raining and cold on the second day after my bike ride back to Le Mont, St Michel. I didn't know how to unlock the door properly as our house keys work differently in New Zealand. I waited at the train station for 2 hours in the cold underneath the shelter and suffered minor hyperthermia. This was mostly my fault, of course, but a tutorial on unlocking old French doors would have been nice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is charming. The location is excellent. The breakfast is delicious.
Cons: Up on the top floor, the ceiling is a little low.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. The property was very clean with plenty of facilities for guests. The guests lounge/dining room was very handy and it good to be able to make oneself a cup of tea or coffee. There was a covered swimming pool and areas for guests to sit in the garden.
Cons: Can't think of anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful hosts.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and good breakfast.
Cons: The stairs up two floor.
7.0 Good
Pros: NIce breakfast. We booked two rooms for our family of four. It's important to note that EVERY room is unique. All the rooms I saw were quite small, but each had a different character and arrangement. The kids really liked their room. My daughter loved the window seat to sit and read. She was also in love with the semi-canopy over the bed. In the kids' room, the bathroom was separated by a wall and door from the bedroom. Both the toilet and the shower were in this separate area which was nice because it kept smells and the steam from the shower out of the bedroom. The kids found the room very comfortable and one of their favorites on the trip :).
Cons: As I mentioned, each room is unique and we had two rooms. I was not fond of our room. We had the gold and black room. The shower is literally IN the bedroom so the steam from the shower fills up the bedroom. The toilet is separated from the room by an accordion door. I understand that they were trying to provide the luxury of having a private shower and toilet in your room, but it was really awkward and tight. I don't know if it was just during the time we were there, but sewer gas smells kept coming in from the toilet/shower. Since the manager had limited English and we were only there one night I decided to not mention it and instead covered the smells with essential oils I had brought (thank goodness!). Not the most comfortable stay for me and my husband :(.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house, the room, the yard, the retro style decoration, the dinning, the owners. The breakfast very good. All was wonderful!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - only a short walk from the town, with free parking close by, and its restaurants and activities. We were there while a fete of music was occurring and enjoyed a late night stroll. Our young host family were delightful and very helpful. We liked the tea and coffee which was always available in the lounge, and the informality was very restful. Our room had a four poster bed and was most comfortable.
Cons: No complaints !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and a nice quiet location.
Cons: Rubberized under sheet on the bed which becomes ubearably hot during the night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was close to Le Mont St Michel, within walking distance to the main street of Pontosoron and restaurants. Parking was readily available daily. Breakfast was good each morning and coffee fresh. The couple running the B&B were very limited in the English language as we are in French but they worked well to meet all our needs, expectations and answer questions. Superb customer service and friendliness. A pool is available as well which was a nice surprise.
Cons: NA - all was positive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On arriving we were made very welcome, were shown to our lovely room, exquisitely appointed, and so comfortable. The accommodation is a work of art, historical pieces of furniture and artifacts beautifully placed, making a gracious whole. Truly amazing. The clematis in the front garden was in full bloom, a riot of pink all round the edge, indoors a great display of orchids. And breakfast presented perfectly, another work of art. with more than enough to set yourself up for the day. Everywhere SO clean, a credit to Pontorson, should be classed 5 star.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If anyone can find me a better breakfast in France I would love to hear where.pretty room amazing garden wonderful hosts Good restaurants near by easy to find and not far from Saint st mont michel. Sadly we were so comfortable that we overslept by an hour!
Cons: Nothing but our lack of French was an embarrassment but the tablet and free translation helped considerably
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable and with a real attention to detail. The owners are attentive and work hard to make the stay as good as it can be.
Cons: The town is nothing special but at only 15 mins from Mont St Michelle this isn't real a problem.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, warm and attentive people, excellent local breakfast. The guest and living room were very clean and gorgeous, my mother loved the decoration. I would recommend them for a stay to go to Mont Saint Michel, or for visiting between the Normandy and Brittany regions of France.
Cons: Nothing that I could think about my stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts! The breakfast is just perfect. Beautiful house, conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel, with secure parking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good matress, very good breakfast. Handy location to train and bus for Mont St. Michel. Pontorson is well equipped with a Carrefour, Lidl and McDonalds all in walking distance.
Cons: Only able to check in between 6-9 pm, whereas the owners live on the property and there are only 2 rooms to attend to. Train from Caen arrives at 14.45. Bathroom including toilet is inside the room with a screen divider. One does expect some more privacy for that price. No desk in the room to work at privately. Could use table in lounge downstairs. coffee and tea upon arrival in room, no refill for second night. Only French spoken. Breakfast only from 8- 9.30 am, no exception when you have to leave early.

Pros: Lovely family room, fantastic location, so so quiet and great to relax in the outside space on arrival
Cons: Be aware very steep stairs to the Dior room, need to keep an eye out for the little ones. Also very cosy bathroom, lovely shower but don’t expect to have much room at the sink which may or may not be a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts who recommended and booked us a table at local restaurant Very lovely breakfast will be back
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pastoral location. Ultra clean. Extremely hospitable hosts. About a ten minute drive into town for dinner. Very nice breakfast, with good coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very peaceful, a good change for us as we live near London. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary things like tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryer. The shower room was well appointed and we were encouraged to ask if we needed anything else. Breakfast was very varied, from croissants to cold meats, cheeses, French bread and home made preserves. Some days there were fruit yoghurts and fresh fruit from the garden with plenty of tea and coffee.
Cons: We liked everything!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice countryside place, where we appreciated garden for kids to play. Carine and Daniel were really helpful - even if we came later, they enabled us to use their kitchen for heating up a dinner. Also breakfast was served in a nice family environment.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Parking is private and safe.
Cons: We found a big family of mini spiders on the curtain. The acoustic is poor.

Cons: Nothing to say
9.5 Excellent
Pros: nice host. he really kind and friendly. we stayed during Easter. he also gave my children Easter egg. :) and the day after, we leave early than breakfast time, he worried our breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wanted to visit Mont St Michel on our way back to England and this was in a nice location in the countryside nearby and away from the tourist hordes. Daniel was welcoming and there was lots of room upstairs in the family 'suite'
Cons: I'd have liked a bit more variety for breakfast and bigger glasses for juice.

Cons: Nothing. This hotel met all of our expectations.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night in this hotel on our way to Mont-Saint-Michel. We asked for two quiet rooms and got rooms in the back on the second floor which were extremely quiet. The rooms, one triple and one double, were comfortable and very clean with modern bathrooms. The hotel is authentic and has a lot of character (beautiful old wood stairs). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a very nice buffet with many different kinds of things (fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, eggs, croissants, baguette, etc.). We strongly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back.
Cons: Nothing.
4.3 Okay
Cons: VERY BAD IDEA TO HAVE A WEDDING EVENT AND NOT ADVISING CUSTOMERS BEFORE....

5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: No managed reception on arrival we had to call by telephone and wait . Empty shower gel dispenser in shower. Poor attention to detail , expensive breakfast charge for poor breakfast , under cooked fat washed eggs and omelette more like a dish cloth .

Pros: Great room and beautiful hotel! it is a great choise for visiting Mont Saint Michael! Every detail was berfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ground floor room with a garden was beautiful, and the additional downstairs floor was a pleasant surprise. The bed was super comfy, bath and shower were amazing Nz the interior was perfect. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. Location wise is excellent, surrounded by restaurants and bakeries, and mont Saint Michel is only a short drive away. All in all a lovely stay :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was great.Well furnished and very clean. Even we missed the check in time, hotel stuff was too nice to take care of us and helped us to get in to the room in midnight.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of character and very good location
Cons: No lock up facility for car but we come from an area with lots of crime so I don't think it is a problem in Pontorson
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really loved staying in the hotel. It has a nice garden and stylish rooms. The elevator is small (just for one person or only luggages) but I think it is due to lack of space to install something bigger. On the other hand it was real fun for the kids :) Breakfast was amazing especially omelette. I recommend this hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely and very central - near the station and on a street with restaurants. The best part was the owner, who went out of our way to make us feel welcome. We were there to run a half marathon, and she opened breakfast early for us and made pasta! The rest of breakfast was also delicious, with great pain au chocolat and home-made jam. The beds were super comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Brand new complete renovation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a junior suite which was a lovely room with great bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, did not want to get out!! The breakfast was continental with a selection of crossiants, breads, ham and cheese and cereals. We were also offered an omelette every morning which was great. Coffee machine so no problems with the quality of the coffee. There is a lovely area to sit out at the back of the hotel and also the bonus of off road parking. The hotel was situated on the main street in Pontorson yet there was no traffic noise heard from our bedroom. Very good location. Two hour walk along the river to Mont St Michel.
Cons: We would have liked to have tea and coffee facilities in our room.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were super attentive to detail and very welcoming, the room and facilities were spotless, and the location is excellent (about 5km from Mont St Michel). The guest room has two tiny windows that perfectly frame the famous abbey. Our hosts lent us their parking card so that we could park at the Mont St Michel parking lot for free, advised us on where to park to lessen the walk to the shuttles, and gave us tips on places to have a nice dinner.
Cons: The house is from the 1790's (not a misprint - 1790's not 1970's) so is 200+ years old. This means there is no AC (hosts provided electric fans to help), the bathroom is not en suite but down a short hallway, and my main issue - a very tight and steep set of wooden stairs leading to the guest room. If you have a lot of luggage, it will be challenging to wrestle that luggage up to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was friendly and helpful -- from our first brief tour of the beautifully restored property and our nicely decorated second floor room to checkout the next morning, everything was lovely. Not only was she patient with my rusty French, she was happy to chat, and to offer suggestions for local restaurants. In addition, although we arrived a bit late in the day (after 7:00 pm), she was kind enough to telephone the place we selected to reserve a table for us. After an excellent night's sleep, we had a lovely breakfast, including fresh fruit (a nice assortment including apricots, donut peaches, and cherries), viennoserie (croissants and pain au chocolat), fresh baguette de campagne (with butter and jam or ham and cheese), and yogurt, plus tea and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here!
Cons: Nothing -- everything exceeded our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place. Natalie our host was so nice. We loved all the attention to detail. Very close to Mont St Michel. Borrow the free bikes and go for a ride!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay when visiting Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Nathalie is a wonderful host. The house is incredible and very special!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was a work of art in this house. The owner has an exquisite eye. We had the best night’s sleep in ages-beautiful room, lovely comforters, nice linens and a lovely cross breeze. One window in the room frames Mount Ste. Michel. The only caution is you have to climb several stair cases. If you have no problem with that,do go here.
Cons: The stairs, not that they weren’t beautiful, but just that at a certain age, you wish you didn’t have to climb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful old house. Natalie and Yves we’re very welcoming and friendly. Great place to take the bikes and explore.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This inn is lovely - and is set apart from the tourist hubbub. A 5 min drive to a terrific photography spot and 8 min to Mont St Michel shuttle (or you can bicycle). Our room was spacious and comfortable and our hosts were friendly and gracious, and they kindly showed us around their amazing garden. We were able to tour the Abbey in the quiet hours before closing and photograph in early dawn. A magical experience. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nathalie thankxxx for everything
6.8 Good
Pros: Very comfortable room, with beautiful furniture, comfortable bed, sheets, etc.
Cons: The lady that owns the BeB couldn't be more rude. Couldn't miss an opportunity to complain about any delays or if we used too much electricity. Gave us very good tips about restaurants and parkings but in another moment treated us like people from underdeveloped countries. A really sour person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome at the Ancien Presbytre d'Ardevon was amazing, the only hotel where I have really felt 'home from home'. The room was an absolute delight, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with a bonus view on Mont St. Michel. My only regret .... that we had only planned to stay one night! Could not recommend more highly. I huge thank you to our hostess.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a two-floor appartment with a living room on the ground floor and a bed-room upstars. There is everything you need including a small fridge and a coffee-machine. The owner is really welcoming and speaks good English. It takes a 20-25-minute walk to a free shuttle to Mont Saint-Michel which is definitely why you come there. It is quite a pleasant walk along the fields and a good chance to visit the abbey in the evening and early in the morning. You feel a part of good old rural France at this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: such attention to detail as to what we required and liked
Cons: the access stairs to the bedroom was rather steep and would not suit anyone with a disability
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality and breakfast were amazing
Cons: Showers were only accessible via the outside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and nice master
Cons: Everything is good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Francis' place was wonderful, like staying in your own cottage in the country. Francis is very charming, gave us great tips on visiting Mont St. Michel, and provided an excellent continental breakfast. He even picked us up at the bus station since we did not have a car, and dropped us off upon checkout. The full bathroom is not immediately within the room, but was not a problem for us. The shower was amazing, and robes and slippers were provided. It's a bit of a walk to MSM, but we enjoyed it. It's peaceful and nice to stay apart from the tourist row.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Francis is an absolute gem!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property perhaps can be best described as a campestral boutique homestay. Working farms/ranches and nature are your neighbors. Different from many of the other lodgings offered in the area. The host(s) were exceptional and unique. The ratings for this property are high, large due to their concern for their guests. You have lots of private space with a lovely downstairs for eating and relaxing by the fire if cold.
Cons: For the price paid and value received, there is nothing to complain about. As in othe reviews, this a historic property which has been modernized. There are steep narrow steps to reach the bedroom. Be a fit person, or find other lodgings. While there is a small sink and toilet adjacent to the bedroom, the main modern bath is a few steps away via a covered portico. Have a car or be prepared to walk abot 2 K to the visitors center and 3 K to Mont Saint Michel. Walking will keep you in shape, and slow you down to better enjoy your visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay here with our puppy! The location is excellent for visiting Mont Saint Michel with a beautiful view of the mont next to the house and you can take a nice walk across the field and get to the bridge in around 35-40 minutes. The breakfast was delicious, especially the banana bread and Francis was an excellent host. We would definitely recommend staying here!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome and hospitality of Mr Francis, the host. Also the delicious breakfast!
Cons: A bit far away from the bus station, need to walk for 30mins.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and warm homey atmosphere. But the best thing is Francis, our landlord. We love his hospitality & caring.

Pros: Lovely property with a huge garden. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We had a great time while staying there and Mont St. Michel is very close and easily accessible by public transport too. Our hosts were extremely helpful, they even gave us a lift to a nearby town. Would definitely recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was clean, nice and good value for money. And close to center and le mont saint michel.
Cons: Check-in might be more reasonable. Owners do not speak english but somehow you figure out a way.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our comfy room was like a suite with separate living and sleeping areas overlooking the garden. The house is like an old manor set in a garden behind a high wall. Its an oasis. Stephane was a lovely host who served a really good breakfast and gave us some excellent tips on avoiding the parking fee for Mont St Michel and where to go for the best sunset view. We were delighted with the kitchen which enabled us to cook one night. All up an excellent choice for Mont st Michel.
Cons: It was all good.
4.3 Okay
Cons: The owner don't speak English. Very hard to understand what he want, and very hard to explain something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is budget accommodation priced accordingly. An old house turned in to accommodation. Has an upmarket hostel feel to it. Free parking right outside on road. Nice light room with comfy bed and great shower. Sitting area within room and shared kitchen downstairs with fridge to store our picnic. Note no breakfast is provided as claimed in the ad. This wrong info is not the owner's fault but a booking.com error. Bring your own breakfast. Plenty of restaurants and cafes just a few steps away in the town. The 7mile walk to Mont st Michel right on the doorstep. A warm welcome from the owner.
Cons: We had realistic expectations of this budget accommodation and it was fine for us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy place with a lovely garden (in the summer, I imagine)! Owner was helpful and informative, even if only in French as my partner is a local. Kitchen has everything needed on a level or another, so you don't need to spend your money in restaurants. There's a smaller grocery store nearby and 10 minutes walk away is a big supermarket. Center is quite close too. Breakfast was served in a fancy dining room–local pastries and bread from a bakery, different jams and butter, coffee, tea, yoghurt and cereals—and was a very nice one!
Cons: Gate was locked before and after the check-in time. We tried to use the doorphone, but it tried to call the owner and went to voicemail. After a few minutes the guy came to open the door. On breakfast, the almost full (took 1 cup) thermos of coffee was taken away long before the stated time of the ending of breakfast. Waited for 20 minutes, but it never came back. Shower was a bit dated, had to turn the knobs with full force to move them. No sockets next to the bed, closest one was 2 meters away in the middle of the wall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, Stephane gave us a lot of perfect advices. Maybe just breakfast could be better, more choice (fruits,...)
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice quality but basic breakfast. The breads were nice but the fruit was rotten. The location is excellent, close to the centre of town and there is a bike track which goes out to Mont St Michel about 10klm away.
Cons: This is an interesting property and difficult to describe accurately but imagine that for some reason, you happened to have a 200 year old mansion which you want to run as a B&B so you do all the renovations yourself despite having little DIY experience. That is what this place is like inside. The rooms are basic with wafer thin walls, there is exposed plumbing and loose fittings, the corridors are narrow so best avoided if even vaguely claustrophobic. There is plenty of parking behind the closed gates but for some reason we have to park outside on the street. The owner is friendly if efficacious. The accomodation isn't expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. This could be a lovely place to stay with a bit more attention to detail but at this stage it is best described as a 1 star hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, plenty of space. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast and our hosts were very patient with our poor French. There is secure storage for bikes in the lovely garden.

Pros: Great location right in the middle of town. Very modern and clean. Good, secure storage for our group's 14 bicycles.
Cons: Reception did not open until 5pm. No other guests were staying which seemed a little odd as it's a large hotel that has obviously had a lot of money spent on it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here before. Definitely even better. Managed to get early check in to hotel as restaurant was just about closing . Otherwise would have had to wait until 6 pm. A bit tricky when you've just cycled 68 km ! and just want to relax. Otherwise , absolutely perfect. Great staff , excellent restaurant , great location.

Cons: Lots of flies and very slow service in restaurant.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location. Can walk to Mont St. Michel over the fields and causeway - about 35-40 minutes and of course with excellent views. Up close to the salt marsh sheep. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Food OK , not exceptional. 2 mornings they run out of Croissants - although people do inform ahead of time that they will take breakfast - not good enough. Also, quite a number of flies in the dining room - not an infestation but enough to be persistent and annoying. Cannot see Mont St. Michel from the property-but excellent views walking just 30-40 m either side of the barn that is in the way.
