A lot of noise from upstairs, just from people walking around.
Wonderful staff Walk up
I was pleasantly surprised by Aladdin. Clean room with better-than-standard bed linen. Right on the water with a lovely view. Bravo to owner, Mr. Patel.
Small balcony so you could go outside and look at the water, boats going by. Good shower. There were a couple of good restaurants nearby. Warnings about the use of the toilet written on a card posted on bathroom wall, very poor internet connection, very skimpy continental breakfast, our room next to a business that had hammering going on during the day.
Nice location The person in charge made me so uncomfortable that I left with out using the room.
Great location and we had a very friendly welcoming. Deer in the grassy lawn in the morning, which was fun. Liked the kitchenette option and nice to have a table for eating at and writing. Bed and pillows not very comfortable. Wish the pool was open later in the evening or earlier in the morning so we could have used it. TV entertainment center at an awkward position in relation to the bed.
Room was well cleaned. Location was good with easy access. Staff was very helpful. Amount and type of towels was on the small size all around. for the price would have expected a better quality bed, yet it was good. Room smelled, but I think it is because of the Mill up wind during our stay.
Continental breakfast buffet was disappointing. No fruits provided. Also, hotel does not have a computer for guests to use.
My friend and I were coming into Port Townsend to go whale watching. The Old Consulate Inn was the most affordable and did not have a minimum night stay. We shared the bedroom with the twin beds for a night. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious. Aside from the courthouse bell, it was very quiet. The building is a beautiful Victorian home built around 1889. The owners have done a good job with upkeep and decor. They also accommodated our early departure the next morning. We requested a to-go breakfast. The regular seated breakfast is around 9am. In our boxed breakfast we were surprised to see all the food. There was a lot of it! And all so good! There were 2 different muffins, 2 different fruit cups, slices ham, and 3 kinds of cheese. It was very delightful!! They were also flexible with dietary restrictions. I would stay there again.
It is a very charming place that we much enjoyed. It was liked going back in time to the early 1900's. It dates from 1898 and is really well maintained - I have never stayed in a room with such a high ceiling. I would definitely recommend this hotel. There was nothing to dislike. The gentleman on the front desk was very friendly and helpful and there are lots of great places to eat all around and easy parking in the rear.
Nice theme, clean and good location. The neighbors were loud, early in the morning.

Love boutique hotels. The Victorian styling and the claw foot rub on my room was a big plus. My room smelled like Shepards pie/onion soup. But that's probably the restaurant below. If I was staying longer I probably would have asked to be moved. Windows were a bit tough to open. Otherwise not a bad stay :).
Right in the heart of Port Townsend, everything was within a block or two. There was free internet. Outdated, musty, frumpy room that probably belongs in the same class as a Motel 6 in a forgotten part of Trenton, N.J. The hotel suffers from an identity crisis. It could be a fantastic Victorian hotel, but instead, it's stuck in a bad remodel from 1980.
