Employees at front desk were very nice. Gave us a street view room without asking since we had to park our truck on the street.
Accommodations, staff, bed.
Need fans in the bathroom!
Perfect trip hotel was clean and service was great!
Great boutique type hotel
Breakfast is adequate Comfort of room, especially linens Location, can walk to most things and close to MAX rail
Noise from elevator, room was next to the elevators No coffee maker in room No alarm clock View was of a very close wall
Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly
Walls are very thin!!
Great Portland Hotel!
Loved this hotel! Had a noise problem from rowdy neighbors both nights but the staff was amazing! They compensated our parking, one night stay AND a bottle of wine! We will definitely stay here again! Fun hotel!
Great Hotel. Loved the stay.
The beds were super comfortable. Rooms exceeded my expectations.
Homeless people on the streets outside the hotel upon arrival to hotel.
Very nice hotel in a great location. Close to Powell’s, restaurants and breweries.
Perfect location for wandering around. The room was spacious and bed was comfy. We would stay again!
Fun neighborhood and nice hotel!
They love dogs and that made us happy! Room was beautiful! We were right next to the elevator and that was super convenient for our dog needs but we could hear the elevator open and close all night which was annoying. Not much you can do about that though.
We discussed the problem with the room temp 5 times and until 8 pm on our last night did the desk person tell us it was not turned on. This was not very good for us. Our room was newly renovated.
Been a couple of years....
Its been awhile since I have stayed at Marc Spencer but the renovations are amazing. My roomwas on the first floor that used to be mini suites a long time ago. I was lucky to have a room with a view of the stage for this year's pride block part . Was a blast! I'll definetly be coming back!
The only thing wrong was I wish I could've stayed more than one night :-(
The convenience of a little kitchen, on the streetcar line, very close to The Pearl District and Stumptown Coffee. Oh, and free wifi for guests. Bright and lovely studio room for 1 or 2 is Unit 206.
Loved the location to the Pearl District and downtown easy to get to public transportation liked the kitchenette in the room enjoyed the public areas of hotel--enjoyed the breakfast and excellent coffee--very helpful front desk
The staff were exceptionally helpful and the free coffee and biscuits in the lounge most welcome.
The small kitchen, microwave and eating utensils in the room were a great amenity. The location to the Pearl district can't be beat. Very easy to access this hotel from the max train line from the airport. The location is very walkable to area shops, breweries and nightlife. The continental breakfast was rather extensive and good. We loved the wine tasting in the afternoon.
I felt the rooms were a bit dated and small. But they were not bad rooms by any means.
Breakfast, no luggage helper, old furniture.
