The restaurant and bar menu were shockingly limited.. my coworkers and I were eating the same thing every morning for the week, given the lack of choices. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal to me, but there isn't much within walking distance and I don't think I would walk around downtown Portland after dark. We Uber'd over to a brewpub one night for a welcome change from the same-'ol at the hotel. Also, the restaurant is only open for breakfast & brunch.. and closed the rest of the day... You can eat at Hilton #2 across the street - also with a shockingly poor choice of options. There were about 3 appetizer choices, 2 or 3 salad options, a couple of sandwich choices and maybe 3 entree options. The "entrees" I would be generous with - such as a thin pizza for 1, or a piece of salmon (just the salmon, no sides), etc. And that was across the street, and the Duniway - it's basically nothing in the evening.
Pros. I LOVED our time at the Duniway. Great location, clean rooms, cool vibe and amazing staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel, Jackrabbit, serves remarkable food. We are there every morning and one evening. Everything from the drinks to dessert was super creative, flavorful and just incredible. We had originally planned breakfasts at other restaurants but Jackrabbit was so good that we just kept going back.
Cons. Nothing. The food, drinks and staff were exceptional.
Pros. Great amenities and excellent service. More comfortable than staying at your own home, guaranteed!!
Pros. Nice downtown location and nice rooms
Cons. Need complementary coffee in the lobby
Pros. Loved this Hotel. Located downtown and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. My wife and I had a wonderful time and we will stay there again. Most comfortable bed we have slept on at a hotel. The T V in our room was wall mounted in a shadow box and was 66” flat screen.
Cons. Nothing was wrong. Can’t think of anything that we didn’t like. Our only regret was that we cannot stay longer.
