Nice staff, but small dark rooms (because decorated in dark wood), and senility of hotel (age more then 120 years!) is feeling despite of reconstruction. I guess, not more then 2,5-3 stars. very friendly!
Very good location, friendly and helpful reception staff. The food was rather unimaginative and served in a slightly school dinner environment
location and cleanliness no tea making facilities in bedrooms,no iron or ironing boards .no money exchange.no wine coolers for your wine with your evening meal , not disabled frirndly i.e. no ramps to access the hotel ,bar closes at midnight or before (even on the night spain won the world cup!!!!!!!)
Staff, food and value for money Parking may be an issue during peak season. Bath enamel was chipped
Staff was very nice and friendly, good comfort in the bedrooms (maybe the double used as single was a bit too small even for one). Close to everything you need in Portocristo.
Hotel staff was nice and polite. Hotel was clean and everyday cleaning was proper. Variety of food. Breakfast Champagne every morning including. Nice location. We recommend spa and specially massage.
The staff was friendly, the location was excellent, the room was a very good size and had a nice balcony overlooking the harbor. There was a nice flat panel screen in the room, there was a big breakfast included with the stay. The internet service is very expensive and should be included free. There was no room service option available -- they had a dining room but we wanted to be able to eat on our balcony overlooking the harbor, but couldn't. Room service is slow... we asked for extra towels which didn't come for about half an hour. And the only English TV channel was BBC news.
location receptionist (magdalena, although manolo was very good), spa only open 11-18 (closed all monday), avg quality of meals, poor bathrooms. wouldn't classify it as 4* hotel.
the central location, the sea front view while sitting at the outside tables. The polite bar staff. the lack of atmosphere in the bar and the fact that even though they listed Irish Coffee on the drinks menu they would not make us one at about 10.30 because the coffee machine was shut down.
Nice location in the middle of Porto Cristo very close to the water. Great balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor and a small beach. A wellcleaned room with goodworking aircondition and decent amount of TV-channels including eurosport. Helpful and friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet included. Rather small room and no outdoors pool.
Hotel location,comfort none
The apartment was good, the pool area was good and the location was also good. The hotel staff was bad, they did not speak english and to be truthfull they were lazy and not serviceminded at all...
Very good! I can definetly think of coming again to this hotel! We are three persons (two adults and a child, 10 yrs) staying in the same apartment. There was however no possibility to get three balcony chairs, three glasses to the bathroom etc. This I find unacceptable in a four star-hotel! I have never during our last 10 years of travelling together as a 3 person family had any trouble with that anywhere else in any other hotel in Spain or other European countries. We have made about 15 journeys during that time. I wonder if this could be changed until next time? Thank you!
Room, view from balcony, jacuzi
Sport facilities Various activities for young and old There was allways a place at the swimming pool
Verry good and friendly czech receptionist, the food and spirits were delicious. All inclusive finish at 22:25, terrible table wine included, no water afther, the rooms has very thin walls and we hear everithing what neigbour do.
Location Bar closed at 22.30
The hotel is conveniently located close to 2 beaches nearby (10 minutes walk). The food was the best we had. A lot of fish meals, huge variety. They changed it every day. Weekends are always some fun at the pool area. The view was nice, as we had balcony towards the pool side (south). There was very bad, sewer like smell at the top floor which got into the hotel rooms. Problem was partially corrected after 5 days from our arrival, but it still smelled in the lift every day. Beds are old and the springs could be felt every night. In the bathroom was only one bar soap (no shampoo). And lastly, the walls are very very thin and you could hear all the noise from neighboring rooms.
The hotel were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the food was very good.I liked the pool. I think that the bar prices are over the top,a half a litre of local beer was 6 euros,in bars nearby it was only 3 euros
Mallorca Palace felt like a really nice oasis to come back to after a fun day at the beach or site-seeing. Sa Coma beach is very clean and safe for children. Not too busy. I didn't mind at all that the Mallorca Palace hotel isn't sea facing, it's so close anyway. We enjoyed the evening meals - good selection of choices and the service was excellent.
Buffet dinner was excellent and hotel service very good. Hotel well presented and clean Beds were a bit hard, room cleaning was ok, but not 5 star
The home-made sushi during dinner. Noise level. For western-Europe (D, B, NL, CH, AT, FR) it would be rated as 3-4 stars hotel.
The Food was amazing it was well presented with a fantastic choice everyday the quality was second to none, staff friendly and attentive, I would go back and spend a full week next time!!!
Everything about it. Hotel was perfect just what we wnted. Staff were the friendliest I have met when staying abroad. Food in one of the resturants was not very good but was not a problem as there were 5 to choose from and the rest were lovely!!!!
It´s comfortable, it has a nice swimming pool and is surrounded by a natural area that helps you forget you are very close to other hotels.
clean and quiet
The location and facilities, particularly the use of Biomar Spa. The hotel bar closing at midnight when bars in other hotels including the other Proturs in same complex remaining open and allowed smoking in the bar areas when your hotel did not. As a result of bar closing early and non smoking policy in bar our party of 6 went out to other bars which stayed open later and permitted smoking. Also no porter available to assist with luggage on arrival/departure.
Clean & comfortable rooms with quiet and efficient air conditioning. The food was good. The outside could do with redecoration
Location of the Hotel is great: maximum 100 m to the beach. The same distance to bus stop. Rooms are big enough, nice terrace and sea-view. Sometimes there is smell like in toilet in the room, in the same time in toilet normal smell. It was strange and not really nice. Something wrong with condition-system.
Price of drinks was extortionate, food poor quality
great facilitys for the kids the pool is brilliant a lovely safe enviroment for the family to stay. the boogie train needs to be on later and the driver should learn a bit of manners.
Staff is friendly and helpful. We can't complain about variety or quantity of food. Shops in the hotel are open till 10 or 11 pm
Clean big swimming pools, small supermarket inside the hotel, free transfer from hotel to beach Sunbeds occupied in early morning, high prices at supermarket, entertainment 100% orientated for just English speaking
Value for money. Nice and helpfull staff in the recepion To many fat and tatooed people. To many noisy children in the Spanish restaurant (bad acoustic).
Facilities were good (almost excellent) and the shows were excellent. We had a lot of fun. It is in Sa Coma which has a very nice beach. It is some distance to the beach. Often had problems with drinks at meal times -- juice turned out mostly as water and the red/white wine available with dinner for all-inclusive was not drinkable.
The staff was great, and we liked the pool. There was a lot of children with parents so we recommend it to young families, but not to much for romantic trip or honeymoon.
Good facilities, good location in residential area, great pool, shops en site
night time entertainment for children not enough sun beds all taken by 7am. Room small with small balcony and very basic.
The location and room was ideal. The view from the room was amazing and because we had limited information about the hotel before going, we were pleasantly suprised. None of the staff there spoke English, but was not really a problem as we got by.
Spectaculair seaview. Nice furnished bedroom. They were very nice to our child, bought special yoghurt for his breakfast etc. We expected a bit more from the description of the hotel on the website. Maybe after they really finished the renovation. Now there were too many problems to make it in some moments uncomfortable (toilet didn't flush, no hot water for two days, flooding in the bedroom, electric wires hanging around).
Excellent sea view from balcony The room was never cleaned for the full 10 days we were there. We had to ask for clean towels. We booked using a credit card and checked the website to see that it was accepted yet were told we had to pay by cash when we got there.
Perfect location nearby beautiful beach and walking promenade. Easy access by car and no problem with parking place. Exceptional view through window from the room and small terrace to the sea. I would suggest better breakfast, more fresh fruits and vegetables (almost were not served).
The site, the view, nice staff. Service, cleanliness
Proximity to beach , bars and restaurants. View from the bar. Air conditioning Some baics missing from room - no rubbish bin, coat hangers or soap. Very cheap towels. German owner could not speak any English. Variable quality of very German breakfast.
