I love the view. I had room 305.1. And the view was so beautiful. Other than that, no I would not recommend. Don’t take the awful steps, leave your luggage with porter and then take the Interno Positano bus and exit at the Royal Positano and that’s the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is in dire need of updating, is tired and the air conditioning does not work room 305.1. I told the front desk but they said they couldn’t fix it. The breakfast is mediocre. Don’t waste your money on awful breakfast.
Pros. Staff was helpful but not always totally clear in their advice. Room was relatively spacious. Location is convenient to catch both Positano Interno bus as well as SITA and other buses beyond town.
Cons. Breakfast was mediocre, no wifi in rooms (and very little bandwidth even in lobby where there was wifi), hallways are worn and very difficult to navigate. .
