Food and swimming pool The decor and entertainment.
Consistent good choice of good quality buffets, fresh friut available with all meals.Fussy children always found something they liked (including pasta choice most meals).Pleasantly surprised to find drinks (soft drinks, beer and wine ) included.Daily activities organised including Eco walks,Dance class,Boat trip (at extra cost). Hotel staff friendly. Local shops on hotel site were reasonably priced (not usual rip off as 5 star resort and you have no alternative but to buy there.) Advised by reception staff and on site travel agent that only way to get into town(Angra ) was by private taxi (costing 50 Reals one way). Untrue- regular bus service, used also by hotel employees, stops just outside front gate of resort ( cost 1.80 reals one way). Approximately 20 mins into town, otherwise not much to do at resort if weather wet,as we had for most of our time.
You don't have to worry about where you're going to eat and it was not to croud. Not many options for adults.
The location is great, the hotel is very beautifil and it felt like I was in paradise for few days, night intertainment, the pool and huge and very nice, the water bar by the pool is terrfic. I would definitely recomment this total to anyone. It is a must if you want to spend few days in Angra.
Staff were quite ready to assist in every way, and the recreation team was an excellent one. The food, although good looking and in a good variety, did not taste up to expectations.
The room was very big and comfortable with a very nice view. The food is very bad, all the days it was the same menu and with no variety. On Saturdays and Sundays it was a little bit better. The restaurant is very noisy. The beach is not as nice as we had supposed and it is not very clean. There is not practically any entartainemnt in the evenings and they are really boring.
Good breakfast, clean room and nice location. Limited knowledge of communications in English - English is my second language but staff your reception with staff that could understand English also. I forgot my fisher's jacket in the Restaurant after my dinner and could not get it back - difficult to feel unsecure. Train your staff to be business oriented and be professional.
This wa the worst hotel I have ever stayed at...they ration towels like they are a rare commodity, and the hotel staff was so sad, and the pool and elevators werer b roken the whole time, and this is not an abberation...please don't stay here... their website looks good, but it is a horror show....
It was a very nice place. Good / clean hotel room. Awesome pool, Bar next to the pool. Staff was friendly. Pretty good, free breakfast. Nice view from the hotel. Staff didn't speak English very well, you need to take a bus or taxi to a clean beach.
Almost nothing. The location is horrible, close to the Hotel there are industrial places, the swimming pool was dirty to a point I think it was dangerous for the health. Probably the hotel with the worse value/price ratio in my entire life.
Meme was amazing, she was so helpful, and knew so much about the island. Plus she had great tips and connections to make sure we got the most out of our stay. The location is amazing! Literally on the beach, beautiful views, not smack bang in the middle of town, but a short 5 min walk to restaurants.
The beach and the natural environment. The food. Facilities and service are not 5 star as advertised.
Great location by the sea, rooms were quiet comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious
