10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely accommodating, the hotel was relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommend
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The hotel is ok, but as for a 4* one. Not matching the 5* standard in many ways, do not expect it. On the other hand the price is fair for a 4* hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great amenities. Awesome staff and close to the falls.
Cons: Internet was pretty slow.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing. It never disappointed! The nature walk behind the hotel and the pool were also very nice.
Cons: They were painting and fixing a few things while I was there, so you could feel a light smell of paint in the lobby.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms, very clean and well kept grounds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very specious and clean. The bed also very comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast Great at organizing excursions and taxis Good options for packed lunches
Cons: Late check in Spa limited services Taxis organised by then expensive in comparison
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had dinners and breakfasts at the hotel. The dinners were all great, would be nice to have a little more variety of vegan and vegetarian meals (some days there were fish and seafood, the others only meats). All food was of very high quality! Breakfasts were simpler, but tasty, too. Would be great to have a coffee machine to be able to drink espresso and other types of coffee, the common coffee served at the breakfast was a little too light :) The rest was all great! The hotel offers a bike rent service and there is a horse stalls just five min walking from the hotel in case you wish to go horse-riding.
Cons: The hotel is a little isolated from the rest of the city and the taxis are pretty expensive, think about that as you need to go to the national park and also if you want to go out at night. We rent a moto in the city and were happy with that, otherwise I guess we would have spent much more money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room super big and comfortable, nice swimming pool and spa
Cons: The WiFi connection is too bad in the room, maybe something faster makes clients happier especially when you need to work a bit.
6.3 Good
Pros: The food was nice in the restaurant. The hotel itself was nice enough.
Cons: The room type was oversold - it claimed to have a hot tub but it was just a regular sized bath, under the shower. Disappointing as this was why we chose the hotel over others.
Iguazu Jungle Lodge - Puerto Iguazú - Building

9.2 Excellent (1,873 reviews)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adorable room - cosy, and spacious. Excellent breakfast & dinner. Staff extremely willing to help.
Cons: Nothing - wish we could stay more.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel staff was extremely friendly. They helped with all our reservations and provided great advice. The pool is amazing and the a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner is good. The breakfast was decent, but not extraordinary.
Cons: The room was shabby, the furniture very old, and the third bed (which was an extensible couch) was not very comfortable. This looked more like a cheap motel room than a high end hotel. The outsides were better looking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very light clean rooms, beautiful bathroom and view from the balcony Tasteful interior Excellent restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The loft room I stayed in was very spacious with a large balcony overlooking a river. There is a large swimming pool and an excellent restaurant on site. A tour desk in reception is very helpful for explaining the best way to see the falls and for arranging trips.
Cons: The room could be brightened up. It is a bit dark and cheerless.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else, good breakfast, the room is excellent and big, restaurant is excellent, stuff are so kind and helpful, the resort has everything, good for honeymoon!
Cons: It's a bit far from downtown (15min walk, on a bit difficult road)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our unit was large, and very clean. The restaurant was excellent, evey meals was great and is highly recommend. The tourism desk at the hotel made our our quick stop over seeing the falls absolutely seemless and easy. We had nothing booked for the falls prior to arriving. Very much recommend.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. As an added bonus most of the staff we dealt with spoke English which made it easy for us to make arrangements to see the cataracts. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean. The balcony was spacious and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and both times the food was very good and the presentations were inspired. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was outstanding. The staff arranged our taxis to and from the airport, to go downtown. The tours for the Argentinian or Brazilian side of the Iguazu falls can be arranged through the hotel. The rooms are outstanding and the view from the balcony is great. You can even ask for room service and get it served in the balcony. Loved the stay!
Cons: Loved everything of the hotel

Pros: Silvio, the owner. Went out of his way to help me when I was trying to get a new credit card from the States.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extraordinary people
Cons: They don't have save box in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliest owners/staff made this a wonderful place to stay! They were so sweet in helping us with everything in the hostel and giving us information on what to do in the area. The best breakfast we've had which included toast, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, salad, fruit, fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, milk, yoghurt, cereals and cake! The room was cosy, comfy and clean and we slept great. The bathroom was clean and had hot water. The swimming pool was lovely and clean too - a great spot for sunbathing in the morning/early-mid afternoon. The location of the place is perfect. Only a minute's walk from the bus station and supermarkets. And a few minutes' walk from the restaurants. If you wanted to get takeaway you could use the plates and cutlery and eat in the dining area of the hotel which is very thoughtful as in several places it is cheaper to get food to takeaway than eat in. We will honestly miss these guys as only after 4 nights they made us feel like family. Muchísima gracias por todo!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect ! Clean room, nice location and wonderfull breakfast !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, good breakfast, clean facilities.
Cons: People smoking right outside of the dorm room.

Cons: Not very sound isolated from the other rooms. Was possible to hear all activity from the loud people in the room next to us
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Early check-in was possible The staff were very kind and helpful The localization was perfect in puerto iguazu

4

This resort has facilities measuring 3714 square feet (345 square meters), including conference space. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is complimentary (available 24 hours).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. I wouldn't want to stay at the Sheraton as it is run down and in the middle of the jungle! Loi suites is much more beautiful with great views and fantastic pool area. Also the breakfast is regal. Fantastic! The staff is extremely courteous
Cons: WIFI in the room is extra charge Bar and Restaurant service is EXTREMELY slow. On multiple occasions and with different waiter I had to wait 20-30 (!!!) minutes for a cocktail to come out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel with amazing facilities! Very clean and the staff couldn’t do enough to help us! Also the WiFi was extremely fast which was amazing because we had to service
5.4 Okay
Cons: The hotel needs refurbishment and tighter management. Food was ok, but not outstanding, staff were pleasant but some needed better training.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool is amazing and the trails in the jungle were also very nice.
Cons: They could offer some transfer service to downtown.
6.3 Good
Pros: - the setting in the jungle is beautiful, the pool is the centerpiece of the hotel (although not heated and cold), the cleanliness was generally impeccable. - we had a villa which was spacious, nicely designed, with an enjoyable hot tub on the deck. Our jungle experience was unfortunately ruined by loud techno music on 2 of our 3 nights stay coming from across the river and lasting until 7am, we had to use earplugs...
Cons: This place needs some serious improvements in management to claim its five stars: - Cold welcome if existent at all, sent to our room after giving cc details with no welcome drink (although there were some ready), no explanation about facilities or activities, and no apologies for the failed airport pickup (poor email and direct communication with Natalia the manager despite several attempts) - A part from a few exceptions, staff efficiency and proactivity was generally lacking: slow to bring menus, to take orders they often got wrong or had to be reminded, making waiting times annoyingly long. - Quality of the food in general was very average - Some basic amenities were lacking such as locks on toilets in main area (!)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a unique setting and has an amazing architecture right in the jungle. The pool area is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Superb shower.
Cons: Limited dining options. Very few choices for vegeterians. Plates I tasted not outstanding.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were excellent and friendly. A suggestion would be to train them more to learn English.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is great. It is missing a little bit of maintenance, but nothing that bother to much
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting with wonderful pool.

Pros: Dinner at the El Jardin restaurant was exceptional and romantic - complementary amuse bouche and glass of champagne were a very nice touch. Jacuzzi bath in our room was a lovely touch too.
Cons: Could have offered complementary bottled water even though the tap water is safe to drink - I think that’s what a 5 star hotel should do regardless.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We went for two days and stayed four. The management did a good job to accomodate our requests for changes, Spent there New Years Eve and had an excellent programme and organization.
Cons: I personally do not like that much loud music at the swimming pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: this place is perfect!!! it has change in good rate there is activity for the childrens clean good breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and there were plenty of amenities and services. The grounds are very nice. Also, we were able to walk about 10-20m to several very good restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Service a little slow restaurants.
7.5 Good
Pros: Executive Room was huge, like an apartment with a very nice bathroom. Facilities & garden very nice. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Wheelchair access is very difficult to access the swimming pool & Roman bath gym & gardens. There isn’t a lift to these things & no ramp or facility for wheelchair dependant people, however they can be accessed by a difficult narrow winding path. Hotel power in the early evening seemed to have problems with the lights going off a lot. Hotel restaurant has limited dinner options over 5 nights.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Coffee was wonderful. Dinner on the patio overlooking the pool was awesome too.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Room size
Cons: Service from staff. Lack of communication. Had a function on till 2am music very loud.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is big, very nice pool area, rooms and restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient and the staff was very helpful and warm.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ayelen the owner doesn’t speak much English but she is so very sweet and tries so hard. She gave us a warm welcome, gave us a map of the area and recommended activities and a local taxi firm for our stay in Iguazu. She brings pastries and bread for breakfast. She also used Google translate on her phone to explain everything to us and made herself available on WhatsApp to help us any time. A real angel. The property is superb value with a kitchen, shower room, double bedroom, a twin room and one extra bed by the entrance. There is pool access and somewhere to hang out your clothes outside (handy if you get wet at the falls.) The property is about a 10 minute drive (30 minute walk) to town, about a 30 minute drive to the falls and 40 minutes to the airport on the Argentina side.
Cons: Next door had loud music blaring from 02:30-06:30 the second night of our stay. When I mentioned this to Ayelen however she was apologetic and said she had made a complaint, and you can’t ask much more than that.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ayelen was very kind and helpful. The house is large and clean. Large garden and pool. The accommodation is on the edge of the city, a little bit of walking to the center. But everyone knows this when you look at the map. when I checked out, I got a nice poster as a present. It was really kind of Ayelen. Ayelen: Everything is OK, I am already home.
Cons: Breakfast was a little bit boring.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ayelen is very nice and helpful. She had good tips about visiting both sides of the falls. Our kids really liked the pool which is a must when it's so hot outside.
Cons: It's 15-20 minutes by foot from the center. A taxi costs 200 peso.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean cabañas, super comfy beds! Nice pool and outside area with grill and volleyball net ! Very calm at night (be aware that you either walk 30min into town or need a taxi (100pesos) to get to the center) . Ayelen the owner was very friendly and we used her taxi service a few times !
Cons: Due to the immense heat we had , it was quite stressful to eat and cook in the main room in the cabaña without A/C. Very simple breakfast
7.1 Good
Pros: Ayelen was lovely. We had a problem with the airconditioner and she fixed the problem very quickly. She also helped us to get to the falls.
Cons: The location is not great as it is out of town and hard to get transport. The taxis kept getting lost looking for it. So I would only recommend staying there if you have a car.
El Pueblito Iguazu - Puerto Iguazú - Building
7
9.1 Excellent (541 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Puerto Iguazú (Zona Granja), El Pueblito Iguazu is within a 15-minute drive of Cataratas Avenue and Three Borders Mark. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is complimentary (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located inside a thematic forest. Good breakfast Friendly staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here two nights, and its close proximity to Iguazu Falls and the airport made it a good choice. There’s a restaurant on site that made dining easy, where there are many options on the menu (e.g. pasta, steak, sandwiches, salads, etc.), and the meals I had were satisfying and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed comfortable. One of the big perks to the stay is the grounds, where there are plants and animals on display. A serpentarium, butterfly house, aquarium, and other structures allow one to see the wide variety of fauna, and the layout encourages a leisurely walk through all the flora as well.
Cons: I was on the ground floor at the end of the building, so it was probably a bit noisier than some of the other rooms - whenever anyone was going up or down the stairs, it was possible to hear them.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Iguacu Waterfall Hotel I booked the hostel after the flight landed at the Igucu airport. This is a four-star hotel. But the receptionist can't speak English, and it took me about half an hour to finish check-in. The room is based on the ad description, but it was cold, even though there was air conditioning. But it was summer mode, with cool wind blowing off. I felt I was living in an ice room on a lonely island. Later, I modified the air con mode, and the room temperature was going up. But it never stopped me missing the hostels where I used to stay. I think hostel is a better accomodation for me to choose.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The ecopark, the staff at check-in and out, the cat and her kitty, our hall cat who guarded our room, location to falls and airport.
Cons: What could be better: more hot items. Everything else was ok. Maybe Argentinians/South Americans don’t eat a big breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the more beautiful hotels I have stayed in. Rooms were huge, almost like the size of a studio apartment. Rooms were clean, decor was lovely. Good variety of options for breakfast Hotel complex part of a garden (like a small scale nature garden with a few animals).
Cons: Big complex so almost got lost a few times, not really a problem however maybe a few signs to point to the main building might be helpful. Location not really central if you want to go into town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are huge and comfortable. Surprisingly, the hotel restaurant was outstanding! The chef knows what he is doing, plus great value. The staff was very helpful and paient with my many questions, including bus prices and times, taxi, and where to exchange BRL for Argentinian pesos.
Cons: Nothing really. I guess the water for the shower could have been less hot, but that’s better than the opposite!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s close by the nature, the colonial architecture is beautiful , the hotel is clean, the room is big, the place is quiet and cozy . Very good !!!
Cons: The breakfast could have more options, but is good, the pool area is not so big as the pictures.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Rodriguez and his family are the coolest and most helpful people - The place is clean, comfortable and has everything you need - The location is exactly as it says on the map and is in a quiet neighbourhood in a national park, surrounded by wildlife. - If you get chance use the taxi service of Raul to take you to the Brazilian side of Iguazu.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fascinating almost-suburban location a few blocks from the main highway. The hosts were enthusiastic (almost to the point of pushy) and knowledgable. Their partnered remise driver was helpful as well. The air conditioning worked well, as did the shower, and we slept well. Laundry was inexpensive and ready by the end of the day. We felt included temporarily in a tiny family-run community.
Cons: The breakfast is sparse, some toast plus a couple of Pão de queijo balls. But for the price I did not expect anything.
7.5 Good
Pros: The managers of the property are fantastic. You will not find better. It is run by a young family who treat you as family.I am a single woman traveling alone. Matty was always making sure I was happy. He gave suggestions and booked everything. He was very flexible when plans didn't go to plan. The room was clean. The wifi is great. The pool is small but enough to cool off. It is very secure.
Cons: The location but it was managable by bus and taxi from the city. It is closer to the Argentinean side of the falls than the main town of Iguazu. The breakfast could include some fruit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very helpful! With great advice for walking round the falls and very friendly. Location a little out of town so nice and peaceful. Easy bus to town 5 mins walk. Breakfast was good-coffee and cheese bread
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent staff very helpful, in organizing taxi and adventures for us like a trip to the local bar even.
Cons: Basic room, would have liked a fridge, the location was a bit out of the way, the road was very broken up and muddy and drained away by the rain. Food was limited.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is out of town, about 15 minutes walk down a quiet road which is just off the main road in from the airport. There is a bus stop nearby where you can catch a local bus into the town itself. The hotel is very close to the Animal Refugio. Pamela was really helpful and helped arrange transport including a taxi to take me to the Brazilian side of the Falls. It is also possible to get a bus from town but I was quite short on time and Raul was really helpful with the immigration side of things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mathias is really Nice. Everything was perfect

Cons: We had several light off’s during sour stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel rooms , the cleanliness , food menu , ambience
Cons: The mattresses / beds could be more comfortable . The power cuts were very brief due to construction. The elevators are small : this would be a problem in peak travel times

Cons: Price is relatively very high
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic views of Iguassu Falls and peaceful setting. Friendly reception staff. Easy access to the Falls.
Cons: Waiting/dining staff didn’t seemed bothered and very slow service. Rooms were clean but felt a bit Ikea-ish. Limited selection of beers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was so perfect. The room, the view, the staff, the food, especially the closeness to the falls and the priority to go in the park before the visitors arrived. We got to enjoy the sunset view of the falls and had great food. It was amazing. The best moment in our trip.
Cons: Nothing to complain. A perfect hotel to stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The superb location inside the park means the falls are so accessible. The rooms are lovely with stunning views out to the falls. Fabulous pool area, with spectacular views.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Views where amazing. Food very good staff very helpful and friendly it is the staff that make the stay so I hope they are paid well and do not have to relie on tips.
Cons: On arrival we where pursued to upgrading to another room for extra price per night . And the other offer was for food and wine per night. When we said no we were more or less dismissed. We found out next day we were meant to have bracelet on to dentify us as hotel guests but I guess he wasn't interested after we didn't upgrade.
10.0 Excellent

Overview Reviews
Comfort and nature combine harmoniously with the environment. 100 spacious and comfortable rooms located at the heart of the Iryapú Jungle, just 20 minutes from Puerto Iguazú International Airport and close to the region's main tourist attractions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel - amazing location
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel has really nice swimming pool area, nice garden and pool bar with very friendly staff. Restaurant food was also very tasty and affordable. And thats all about positive aspects.
Cons: This is not really 5 stars hotel. We had big expectations coming there, we left disappointed. The service staff is not well trained and it’s hotels fault. The room we got the first night was really old and dirty, next day we got upgraded to better room but to be honest, that should be normal room in 5 stars hotel. They have some problems with housekeeping, also restaurant and bar staff don’t seem happy at work which makes atmosphere a bit strange. If you can just take some other 5 stars hotel in Iguazu if you want to have relax time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Things we like: 1. Staff co-operation was beyond expectation. Even if most of them were not knowing english, they always tried to understand our needs. 2. Even basic room was very spacious and comfortable. Every other seemed to be perfect. We did not notice any flaws
Cons: Things which need improvement: 1. Breakfast needs to have more variety. It was item wise same for both the days 2. Gym equipments seemed to be old and not working property. Hotel, specially look for small multi gym you have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very well laid out property with size-able rooms, a helpful front desk (even in English), and surprising comfort for the Iguazu Falls area.
Cons: The included breakfast was good but dinner could have been better for the price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff throughout our stay both at reception and the restaurant / bar. The hotel provided helpful advice on arranging excursions to see Iguazu Falls from the Argentina side in terms of opening times, taxis, bus timetable etc. They also arranged a driver for a visit to the Brazil side who managed the process at the border and waited while we took our time enjoying the views. The standard double room is spacious and the bathroom has an excellent shower. There is a good spread of continental breakfast options as well as a gluten free selection and the ability to request eggs done any style. The all-day dining options are great and well priced, ideal after a day out exploring Iguazu Falls. The hotel also offers complimentary tea / coffee between 4-6pm daily. The restaurant also has a good range of options across meat, fish, vegetarian and pasta dishes, with a reasonable wine list - worthwhile if you don't fancy making your way into town. The hotel is located 10-15mins by taxi (ARS 200-300) away from the town centre, set within forest surroundings, giving guests a more tranquil and rustic experience.
Cons: Whilst there is a bus stop in the direction of Iguazu Falls approx. 0.5km walk from the hotel, it is not well signposted or easily identifiable. As the buses begin from the town centre, they are already full when they pass - my advice would be to opt for a taxi. Although the hotel charges ARS 700 one way, local taxis can take you for ARS 400. Uber / Cabify do not operate in the Iguazu area. The room felt a little damp throughout our stay and the heating / cooling unit was temperamental.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru is the nearly perfect accommodation for anyone visiting the Iguazu Falls. The room we stayed in was a Junior Suite with a very comfortable bed, good sized room with balcony and quiet location. The pool looked great but we didn’t get to use it, however we did eat dinner in the restaurant which was in a lovely setting with good and tasty food options. Highly recommended.
Cons: Only possible issue is the location as it is set in a area outside of the centre of town amongst other Hotels but not near any other restaurants / shops.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing decor throughout the hotel, the lobby area is particularly impressive and it is all very modern. Rooms are large, impeccably clean with a massive comfortable bed (our best nights sleep through our 3 months travelling). Bathroom was nice and large also with an excellent rain shower. Balcony overlooking the pool was nice also. Excellent WiFi which worked strongly anywhere in the hotel. The staff were all brilliant, very welcoming, friendly and informative. Speaking English was a nice added bonus and they have a taxi service on site which is useful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, I do not understand the negative reviews on this. There were lots of sweets (churros, waffles, croissants etc.) but also fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, breads, cereals and some hot food so lots of choice and mostly very tasty. The restaurant food is quite good also and for a hotel very reasonably priced. There is a gym that we used but it is more for cardio, (as expected in most hotel gyms) there are not really any free weights that are heavy enough. There are a couple of treadmills, cross trainer and some abs equipment. There is a wet spa also for a reasonable cost and spa treatments also which are also reasonably priced. It was my birthday and they made a delicious cake (honestly one of the nicest cakes we have ever had) which was so big we had to leave half in the fridge, this was a really nice touch. Lastly they offer very well priced and tasty packed lunches for Iguazu Falls that are cheaper than most food in the park.
Cons: The only reason we marked down slightly is due to facilities. The swimming pool looked lovely but even in 28 degree heat was freezing and we couldn’t get in so was unusable. The jacuzzi outside was luke warm also and should be a lot hotter. Only other thing is the scrambled eggs looked very watery at breakfast but otherwise an amazing stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff , very kind. Excellent breakfast too.
5.0 Okay
Pros: How the hotel constructed is very beautiful and precious, looks luxurious.
Cons: it looks very nice, but many things needs repair or replaced, it was broken tab of bidet so that splashes around the water (can't use), hair dryer was low potential ever I had so that it takes for ages to dry hair completely. it's small things, but let me down.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, swimming pool, massive bed and the taxi driver!
Cons: Shower was not great. Service in restaurant was very slow - often 20 mins to get a drink after we had ordered - we used it most nights and they were consistently slow for both food and drink.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Little bit out of town so requires a taxi to go anywhere

7.9 Good
Pros: The room we had was good, the bed slept really good and there was a private bathroom. The place is clean and the location is very close to everything you need.
Cons: -
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice big window in the room showed a lush outdoor view, blackout curtains worked very well. The air conditioner worked perfectly, good amount of shelving for storage, nice bathroom with good water pressure. Secure/locked gate for the whole property. Room placement felt private and cozy, optional light outside the room door. Friendly, accommodating staff offered lots of information. Decent breakfast included, good variety. Right by a supermercado, taxi stand and bus stop; a short walk from several excellent restaurants. Very good price for the value!
Cons: The rustic room was made of wood, so it had that hint of mold/dampness that occurs in the tropics -- not much can be done about that, though, because nothing ever really dries. Be careful of mosquitoes in the seating areas around the pool.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is about 15min walk from the city centre but is close to the bus stop to the Iguazu falls.
Cons: Our room had a horrid mold odor (it is a very humid place but still this is not acceptable...), towels had brown stains on them and in general the place didn't feel clean. Breakfast had a selection of bread, spreads, ham and cheese and some freshly cut fruit but small flies were feasting on them. Would advise to spent a bit more and avoid this place.
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the room. It was basic and gave me what I needed. The staff were extremely kind and helpful even with my limited Spanish.
Cons: The WiFi is really bad. The fan doesn’t work so I couldn’t use it to keep the mosquitoes away but there is AC. The location is not ideal. Breakfast is simple which is fine but the amount of fruit flies is questionable a simple fan can keep them away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful. They provided information about how to get to Iguazú Falls most economically and where to find the supermarkets and bank. When the hair dryer was in use, I was provided with a staff member's personal hair dryer! They assisted with arranging transportation to the airport.
7.9 Good
Pros: The owner's son was extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is close to the main road to get to the falls. The breakfast is nice and they even went out of their way to get a gluten free option for my daughter. There are two supermarkets close by.
Cons: The owner was very moody, maybe an off day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: * Excellent place as stop-over when visiting the Iguazu waterfalls. * Swimming pool is a nice to have with the temperatures there. Clean, but a bit cold water.
Cons: * It's a bit further away from the village itself. It's a 20 minutes walk which was fine for us.
5.8 Okay
Cons: It would better to Have more help
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the taxi stand and bus stop for Iguazu (not the main terminal though). The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious with a fridge and AC in both rooms, breakfast was simple but good options.
Cons: The people next to us were so loud and they were smoking cigarettes outside and the smell was coming into our room. The twin beds definitely need to have some better blankets and sheets, so I slept in the queen bed which was significantly better. Generally, you can hear a lot of noise and people walking up the stairs at night.

Pros: English speaking and helpful front desk staff. Decent buffet breakfast included. Very spacious room.
Cons: Our room looked over entrance and was noisey early in the morning with tour buses idling and voices of loud travellers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved this place. The staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating. They helped us with arranging the bus to the national park and our airport transfer. The restaurant and cleaning staff were also very friendly. It’s in a great location - a few blocks from all the restaurants and bars at the center, and a 20 and 30 minute drive to the national park and the airport, respectively.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location if travelling without car. Bus station at only 100mts.
Cons: Breakfast with plenty of things but not good quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely wonderful hotel! Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable! One of the best beds we have had in South America. The pool and gym facilities were great for us and I also had a lovely massage, definitely recommend! We weren’t leaving Iguazu until late in the evening but we were able to store our luggage and continue to use all of the hotel facilities for the day which was a nice way to relax before heading off. The staff we encountered were all lovely as well. Would love to come back to this hotel if I am ever back in Iguazu.
Cons: Can’t think of anything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent breakfeast and dinner (buffet), friendlines of the staff,
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Liked the large bedrooms & bathrooms. Very Good full breakfast. Also Booked massage & facial, very enjoyable & good value. Nice pool area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location. It is across the street from the bus station from where we took buses every morning. The meals at the restaurant were good. Often we didn't get back until 6 pm and it was nice not to have to walk anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. The pool area was great.
Cons: The hotel is dated. There were always a lot of other guests.

Pros: Great view and location. Nice pool and spa. Clean rooms. Overall a very nice hotel for a great price. 10-15min walk from the bus station to the falls.
Cons: Besidescthe reception the hotel staff could not or hardly could speak anything else than Spanish. This was especially providing some challenges in the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view and location closed to bars
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the spa and the view from the glassed spa area awesome.
Cons: The breakfast can be better
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The pool.
Cons: Pretty much everything. It's supposed to be a 4.5/5 star hotel. Michelin rate chef. The food was barely basic. The staff was uncooperative. They failed to tell me that breakfast was included with my room rate. Never ate breakfast the 4 days I was there. My king bed was two singles put together. One higher than the other. Listed as having a tour test and concierge. Neither available. Shuttle to town? Nonexistent. Unless it was for Spanish speaking guests only. The best is I booked a 50 minutes massage and barely got 40. I mentioned it to the masseuse and she pretended she didn't understand. What else? Asked for ice with my warm Coca Cola and they said no. Funny the bottles of beer in a bucket for the other guests got a lot of ice. I believe it was the fact that I'm American and don't speak Spanish that I was ignored. Puerto Iguazu is pretty much a tourist town yet they have no customer service. Never ever going back.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pool was amazing and the hotel has views of the river and you can see all three countries. Breakfast was delicious and there were so many option even special gluten free options. The hotel has a restaurant, pool bar, and a casual lobby eating area.
Cons: If im being realky picky, the staff could have come round abit more to take poolside drinks orders.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view on the pool is excellent and the breakfast options
Cons: The hour for do the check out was earlier
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property location is amazing because of the view and the nearby restaurants. The sunset must be seen, the staff was friendly and the breakfast has a lot of variety.
Cons: Spa jacuzzi and sauna was under maintenance.

Pros: Great location in Puerto Iguazu a bit away from the congestion of the town, elegant entry Very open and airy Rooftop deck with view of river Enormous outdoor pool and small indoor one Great steak dinner Kids menu Menu in English and Spanish Many areas to relax (library) New quadruple room great for family with two kids
Cons: Shower water slow to warm up, shower Stream weak, and faucets need upgrading
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was outstanding! Lots of sweet offers, good coffee, yoghurt, ham and cheese, all sort of bread flavours and textures, hot meals, greenery, fruit juices and fruit slices (many of them tropical, as the hotel setting would call for...), and on top of that, some local dishes (reviro, pao de queijo). All of these good eateries built up a fantastic start of each day, to profit from and to gratefully remember. The rest of the hotel met those expectations as well. A very good sleeping room (some of them even with an ecological design concept), a rooftop bar that allowed you into the fantastic view of three countries gathering precisely where two rivers met. The same great sight you can get if you tried to work out at the gym premises. Both, a heated and an open air swimming-pool, sports fields for those with sportive spirit... A plentiful lunch and dinner menu that allowed you to try international and local dishes, mixed up cleverly. It was the first time our trip party (friends and mate) were there, and fortunately we shared an awesome experience together at this hotel.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are extremely comfortable, lots of ight, space, great jacuzzi, air conditioning working fine
Cons: Internet is really unstable; breakfast is OK, could be better Personnel should be trained to offer different types of local tours............ instead, they keep asking you what tour you are taking that day................
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Size of the room, cleaness and services related to the room.
Cons: I think that the variety of the breakfast could be a little better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed and great shower
Cons: Internet signal not strong enough to reach bedroom but excellent in reception area
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast is good, with a variety of pastries. New hotel : Rooms are spaciou, beds are very comfortable and jacuzzi in some bedrooms. Perfect location: 10 min from the bus terminal on foot to take the bus to the waterfalls. There is located the city center as well.
Cons: The safety box isn’t attached to the wall, you can find the nails inside it. When complaining , we were told that it was like that in every room as a decision of the hotel. They should inform guests at arrival as it is not secured to leave your belongings there. Moreover, the window door couldn’t be locked from any of the two sides. Moist on the ceiling of the bathroom and some furniture and windows are already damaged.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Wifi didnt really work in the room
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was clean, taxis were readily available. room was nice. They had netflix and youtube.
Cons: The front desk had no information in terms of tourism. The staff were not helpful at all. They were not rude or impolite, they were very nice in fact, but did not know anything about their neighborhood: including dining, things to do, transportation, and possible tourism. there were very few tourist pamphlets, which did not make any sense to me in a tourist town. The food was subpar.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, pretty new. Clean. Good breakfast but nothing special. Great staff.
Cons: Misses a bit of charm
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Good location. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Good shower. Breakfast spread acceptable.
Cons: WiFi connectivity was very poor in room and slow in reception
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was newer and very clean. Rooms are an average size but comfortable and not too noisy. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Pool area on the roof has a very nice view and was very peaceful while we were there. Typical, expanded Argentinean breakfast [heavy on the sweets and breads, light on everything else]. The property is located about a 10 minute walk from the main town as well as the bus station [very helpful if you are planning on independent travel while in Iguazu].
Cons: Bed was a bit soft for me but that is a personal preference.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and fresh, everything looks new. Large rooms. Good breakfast.
Cons: The pool is open 9am-9pm only, and so we missed it. The hotel is a bit out of the center, so it takes some 10 minutes to walk through a quiet residential area to reach some restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was late arriving due to a delayed flight. Hotel was there for me at 1:30 AM and was really pleasant about the whole ordeal. They also locked my back up after I checked out while I was at the falls which was really helpful. Rooms are clean and new or newly refurbished. Good breakfast and great service. Especially for the money, this is a great little spot. A little further from the strip, still walkable in a quiet hood.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to falls
Cons: Rude staff unfriendly , poor accommodation, lied about breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our lodge/room accommodations. It was as if we had our own little house to stay in. The staff was extremely helpful - always calling cabs for us. There is this great dog named Soy who just hangs out in the main lobby lodge - we loved her; super cute and super calm. We would return just to see Soy again.
Cons: Nothing, it was great overall.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was great for our needs.
Cons: the re painted floors!
7.5 Good
Pros: The lodge is conveniently located right across a bus stop where you can take a bus to Iguazu Falls. Right across the hotel there’s also a mini mart. House was clean when I arrived. And it also has a nice kitchen with all the utensils and pots you need to make food. The room was also spacious with three beds (even though I travel solo).
Cons: WiFi was sporadic. My phone’s signal was so poor that I couldn’t even make a phone call. That being said, you’re NOT staying there because of the WiFi, right?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location for us and pool/gardens lovely
Cons: the accommodation was a little old and tired/dated. But that is what was expected by the photos and reflected in the value for money price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private A-frame cabana with equipped kitchen. Air conditioning came in handy during hot afternoons. Very private. And the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There wasn't anything not to like about the lodge.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Price. The taxes quoted on Booking.com were refunded to the hotel. 21% discounted. Roomy cabin.
Cons: No shuttle!!!! You will spend additional funds for taxis. There are no stores in walking distance and the closest restaurant is across a busy street and takes about 15 minutes to walk. If I knew they discontinued the shuttle I would not have booked.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: These wonderful lodges are surrounded by trees so you feel like you're staying in the jungle itself. The pool was wonderful and again felt like you're swimming in the forest itself. The staff were so lovely... everyone very helpful and patient with my terrible Spanish! The lodges are well equipped and comfortable. It's right next door to the animal rescue and rehabilitation centre.
Cons: The location is on the main road on the edge of town so it's quite a walk to the facilities such as ATM , supermarket and bus station etc The WiFi was good but didn't quite reach to our lodge which was on the edge of the site.

Pros: Very close to bus station and centre Air-conditioning!
Cons: No hot water at third night
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location to bus station to catch bus to falls, very easy check in and check out. Clean room and fridge and coffee making facilities.
Cons: The bathroom floor and shower drain had not been cleaned since previous guest dark hair everywhere which I had to clean up in order to shower.
7.5 Good
Pros: The small garden in front is lovely. I visited in October, had a ground floor room, and I had no need for AC (although an AC was present in the room). The bathroom was clean and partially modernized.
Cons: Well, the room was dated to say the least. The bedding and the towels could really use a change. The room is really nothing much, and the door to the bathroom was left open with no windows open, so the whole room smelled like bathroom for a whole day until I aired it out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was just wonderful at Hospedaje Los Vencejos, we enjoyed it a lot. The hostel's location is perfect, close to the central bus station and to a nice restaurant area. It has a beautiful large garden, the rooms are cozy and everything is clean and tidy. AC and fan, as well as a hot shower worked perfectly, so we could relax after a day at the Cataratas park. The owner Alejandro is very friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. Its the perfect option for a calm and relaxed stay in Puerto Iguazu - and all for a very reasonable price.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
7.5 Good
Pros: The host was very kind and helpful. Location is good, very close to the bus terminal. The room had air conditioning which helped a lot during hot and humid evenings. The room also had mini fridge, water heater, cups, spoons, knife and some teas. Host stored our things during our last day and called the shuttle transfer to the airport (200ARS one way).
Cons: We missed another trash bin in the room. Only one in bathroom. Room also didn’t have any view, but it had entry/exit to nice garden. Good value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alejandro, our host, was an incredibly nice guy. He was polite and hospitable. We wanted to stay in Puerto Iguazu one more night, but they didn't have any rooms available. Alejandro made a couple of phone calls and we got a really nice room from a nearby place. Overall an excellent stay and good value for money.
Cons: The room was very humid. The bathroom seemed to never be dry and all the towels stayed moist for the whole stay. That was only a minor inconvenience though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location! Very close to the bus terminal and the town center. The air conditioning was also very good!
Cons: I would have liked a kitchen to prepare meals, however our host was kind enough to reheat a meal for us in his personal kitchen. The bathroom was a little run down with exposed holes in the wall, and water damage to the wooden door as the shower curtain hardly contained any water.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Independent lodge in the jungle and swimming pool
Cons: Bad breakfast, amazingly bad restaurant for dinner, only 1 blanket (freezing cold in the morning in June). Way too expensive for the quality
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Chalets nestled in the forest, clean and comfortable. Air con worked a treat. Nice forest views, comfortable. If being ultra critical some parts looked a little tired but nothing essential. All clean, heaps of space and comfortable. Staff very friendly although very limited English (Spanish speaking nation after all) however a mixture of some English, google translate and hand signals more than covered it. Very accommodating. Booked tours and provided maps. Were horrified at price of Viator tour although probably an English speaking tour to Brazil might have helped (on other hand very cheap $1200 pesos including a fabulous lunch at assistance through the border so worked well). Assured with taxis and directions to bus stop (look for buses with Uruguay on the side, I don’t know why but got me to the Falls at a fraction of a taxi cost). All around a very pleasant stay and would happily stay again. Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The cabins were spotless and very the bed was very comfortable. Lots of space and very quiet. Nice pool area, there is work going on to improve the pool area and it looks like it will be beautiful when completed.
Cons: We weren’t made aware we needed to pay for dinner with cash until we were checking out. We didn’t have enough pesos so ended up paying in Brazilian reals which we had kept to pay for our taxi back to the airport.
6.7 Good
Pros: The cabin was very clean, spacious & comfortable.
Cons: Location - far from the town. One should have a car to stay here. Breakfast choice was very limited. Staff hardly spoke English. Strange that they don’t serve with dinner. Not a friendly attitude from staff when we asked if they could clean the swimming pool (it was full of leaves), they didn’t clean it so we couldn’t swim... Given the location, they could have stocked the minibar...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice parc, very helpfull staff.
Cons: Be aware the region is humid. Towels, shirts do not dry easily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jungle, banana trees and falling trees are nice, tasty and adventurous.
Cons: It’s a little far from the city, but if you want jungle, it’s perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was great. The surrounds were fantastic. The rooms are seperate cottages in the rainforest. The pool is set in the rainforest. It is very quiet and has beautiful surroundings. The hotel is close enough to town that taxis are not expensive.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor. You cannot eat the food at this hotel. We went to the hotel next door to eat, or you can get a taxi into town to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The individual lodge for our room was a great way to experience Iguazu. The room was spacious, updated, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The lobby served breakfast and a light lunch but did not have a restaurant open for supper.

Pros: The breakfast was good and the setting was beautiful. It really felt as if we were living in the jungle. Overall, a comfortable stay for sure.
Cons: If you are expecting to take a hot shower, this is not the place. The water is only warm enough to be able to withstand a shower. If you stand too long in the shower, you will be cold. Do not expect hot water.
7.1 Good
Pros: This was a fantastic jungle lodge but lacked the service we would expect at the price paid. The staff were very attentive but overall the lodge was under-staffed and the food was slightly overpriced. The wine-list however was fantastic and wines delicious. The room was very large, clean, private and spacious but the wifi did not work, the TV signal was poor and there was a very unpleasant continuous smell from the bathroom drains.

Pros: facilities and location
Cons: rusty towels and bed clothes

Pros: Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Excelent dinner option at the restaurant
Cons: Room was not properly clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything, especially the location, in the middle of the forest but easily accesible from Route 12 and 10 mins from the city center. The staff is more than helpful and always ready to solve anything quickly. The manager of the hotel is always there organizing everything in the best possible way. Breakfast was delicious and with a good and broad variety of things. We also have dinner there three times, and it was wonderful. The bedroom was very comfortable and we loved to fall asleep while listening the sounds if nature. Perfect staying!

Pros: The breakfast was good but not quite as pictured... the location was beautiful and peaceful surrounded by nature.

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: A bit old and tired!

Pros: The location was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and the room was comfortable. The place is done very nicely, pretty and serene.
Cons: It seems that the windows and doors are old and need attention.

Pros: Loved this property spread through a tropical landscape. The small blocks each have 4 separate, private, comfortable rooms. Hard to tell how large hotel is as it’s so spread out. Short stroll back to reception, restaurant, etc. pool area was nice and a relaxing area. We were a group of 2 couples, so caught taxis to both sides of Falls, and into town for dinner two nights.
Cons: Possibly the worst quality breakfast we’ve had in 3 weeks travel in South America, eg very processed, sugary cereals, poor bread quality. Though a very good dinner one night from the restaurant. The staff were lovely, though I think more staff were needed.
5.4 Okay
Pros: This is the best location to stay as far as on the way to and from the city or park if you have a car. It is located in virgen jungle. You have everything you need at the location with a restaurant and very nice walking and pool area. The Saint George is owned by the same people so you get a discount at the Saint George restaurant, Doña María down town.
Cons: Well, our third stay here. I chalked the lack of hot water up to newness the first time. The second time it seemed better but had to let the water run for 30 minutes or more to get hot water to the room. This last trip it was as bad as ever and seemed they switched hot water off to some rooms to get it to our room and that only when someone is there that knows how to do it. And then, we could not get us hot water so they changed our room to one that they could. Very nice until we saw the water had run out of the bottom of the hot tub, flooding the bathroom into the room and out the front door. Then we remembered the year before reporting to them a puddle of water out side the room we now found ourselves in. A year without fixing the problem and just letting clients deal with it. I had defended them in reviews before for the musty smell and thought it acceptable for being in the jungle but this time we realized it was not just the area that had a smell. The pillows were so bad that we had to move them to the next room. I at first thought it my shoes but when I checked them I found they smelled better than the pillows.

Pros: Loved the jungle setting
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I love the peace from location, the bed was super comfortable, we enjoyed the lobby a lot. The access to the service of the kitchen at any hour of the day big plus.
Cons: The location is an area called 600 hectareas, you do depend on a car to get around. The kitchen people are amazing, caring but they do need to work on the quality in food, we had a cold burger. The 4 cheese pasta was more like a soup.
1.0 Poor
Cons: The hotel gave us a newly built room, it had no hot water, no wi-fi, the pillows were impossibly high to sleep on, the duvet was placed on the bed with no duvet cover (not hygienic at all), you can hear the rain constantly tapping on the roof, so if it's raining you don't get any sleep. Also, their staff seemed not to care at all about this discomfort when we asked to change room. No message was passed to the management and when we checked out in the early morning, the staff on duty said that she didn't know anything so she could not do anything. The lobby area might be cute, but we were seating there for 20min and nobody cared to come and ask if we needed anything, or wanting a drink (despite the reception advertising some sort of happy hour on going). So we got up and decided to go get some dinner in town.

Pros: Great setting, friendly and helpfull staff
Cons: Food at breakfast and dinner wasn't so good.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, in the middle of a rain forest.
Cons: Website is wrong when it notes free airport transfers. They do not provide transfers. We wasted a lot of time finding that out. (Hotel phones didn't work). Also a miscommunication with the booking website. Only one of our two rooms was reserved, despite a confirmation email saying otherwise. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us anyway.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and beautiful location. Incredibly helpful staff when we needed help with booking tickets for onward travel (spent an hour on the phone for us)
Cons: The food needs a lot of improvement. Stale bread at breakfast and the evening meals were dreadful. Small portions, again with stale bread, more sauce than pasta. The restaurant/bar area had little atmosphere, would have been made so much better just with some background music.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location. Beautiful design and unique rooms. The staff helped us out with everything we asked for promptly and courteously. 5 species of hummingbirds at the feeders near the dining room! And many more birds seen right from our room. The towel heater and the radiator in the room were awesome on the cold nights while we were there!
Cons: Our room had a musky smell and some corners/glass that needed a bit more cleaning. The room needed some maintenance (a few light bulbs), very squeaky hinges and door knobs, some peeling paint, and a rusted trash can in the bathroom. Also, some of the light fixtures had very white bulbs, which didn't fit the atmosphere. Just a few little things that could have made it 5/5 stars.

Pros: Wonderfull location and privacy. Helpful staff
Cons: Not so good restaurant, fair priced though
