Nice location...loved the front porch nice place to sit and have a drink and read a book Nice comfy room Good food...nice portion size
Displeased that the price of my stay went up by ten dollars because the inn charges for maid service and adds gratuity for breakfast?
I loved just about everything in this charming old Inn. It was beautiful, full of character, decorated with antiques, and the front porch was a beautiful place to sit on Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. It is an old building, so the floors are mot level, but that is part of the character. The staff was very nice and extremely friendly and the free breakfast was excellent. I did not have dinner there, but I'm sure that was excellent too.
The bed and pillows could have been softer for my taste.
The breakfast was awesome, especially the homemade crumb cake. The décor was rustic, quirky and fun. The bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. The wrap-around porch is beautiful and relaxing.
It's definitely off the beaten path, so it could be tricky to find, especially at night. I wish the restaurant had been open the night we stayed. The room could have used a comfortable chair, and the bathroom could have used more shelf space. With a lot of empty rooms, I wish we had been given one with a view.
The food at the restaurant could haveberbbetter
Very cozy and friendly. I will be back
