Everyrhing was fine. The only big proble we had was with the noise between the massonettes from Armonia area. You can here everything the neghbors are doing, even them breath. If your neighbords have children who are crying during the night it is a disaster. This is only thing wich is unacceptable at a 5 stars hotel. If this problem will be solved we would love to come back next year.
I enjoyed that in spite of being a big complex, accommodating hundreds of people, I could enjoy my privacy no
The hotel has everything you want at your door step. It provides for all types of guests. Beautiful surroundings, calm atmosphere, great service. In my opinion the hotel shuttle could be a little more regularly available to guests.
Maisonettes are just absolutely superb. Open fire gives a fantastic atmosphere (home away from home), private parking for guests in Maisonettes and a direct exit to the swimming pool. Big bathroom with a jacuzzi was also perfect. Enjoyed staying for Xmas with my family in A08. Definitely will go back. Absolutely recommended to anyone. - Wireless Internet was working only in the lobby of the hotel. I had to walk from Maisonettes to the lobby to get connection which was also very slow. - Indoor swimming pool is very small and is within a gym room.
the staff, small "things" that make big hotel the main pool was not working, bathtub as big home bath, sauna was as big as WC. The new year's eve dinner organisation was a disaster.
excellant complex of the highest standard. would like to stay there again was upgraded on arrival. to an executive apartment. the apartment was lovely except for the foul smell coming from the bathroom. i reported the smell to the reception and the response was ok i get someone to have a look, no apology was given.
Good service and hotel staff, the room is clean, warm and comfortable, beach is next to the hotel
The most we enjoyed in comfort and facilities...Weather was not on our side and it was a bit cold which is normal for midle of october... No.....and we will be back for sure.
Staff friendly and helpful. Location very good for the beach. Taverna food was good. Canteen environment for breakfast.
Very helpfull staff, beatiful scenery, fresh and cleaner air, quiet and cristal clear sea. Good outdoor swimming pools. Great external design and landscaping in the Greek style. Not enough lighting in the room. Furnishing and design of the rooms are not 5 star level. Not enough public transportation and shopping. Jacuzzi is part of the Spa- extra cost.
The setting, the accommdation Food was not that good. Little done to control wasps
We loved the atmosphere and that it was not high rise, rather that it blended in with the surroundings My husband for religious reasons does not eat pork. On our last day the omelette had ham in it. The kitchen refused to make him an omelette or other egg dish without ham. Being discriminated in this way is a real shame, especially as it left a really sour taste at the end of the holiday.
The hotel itself , the place and the stuff No working Bar after 23h. This is funny for a 4 star hotel
I liked that I could leave it. Terrible terrible hotel! We came there to swim with our son in the indoor swimming pool and to rest after a week of hard work. But the indoor swimming pool does not allow children (even though I called the hotel before the booking checking that it would be available for just that). The outdoor pool was cold and full of dirt in the bottom and wild dogs were walking around it. The bathtop drain was so full of hair and filth that it did not drain. They fixed that and left a bit of hair and filth on the toilet seat. In the night we did not get rested as the air conditioning did not work (they could not fix it). We were sweating and turning al night in the moist hot air of Ouranoupolis. Do not stay at this hotel. They do not care enough.
Excellent location, all rooms with a sea view, safe for children, the size still gives you the feeling of privacy and family atmosphere. Not fault of a hotel but the noise from the two sea cranes working from 7AM till 7PM was very unpleasent.
The location was extremely good with long beach frontage and spacious gardens around the accommodation blocks and bungalows. Unusually, all rooms have sea view and have very efficient air conditioning Unfortunately the beds were the hardest I have ever slept in. Beach sunbeds hard slatted wood/plastic and no mattresses. Food was disappointing but adequate. More suitable for young families as everything close by. Very few quiet comfortable places to sit for older couples, and no other English visitors. Long way from the airport with no transfers, so car hire essential
it is situate in a beautifull lokation and the rooms are clean & seems like new
spatious room, nice view, proximity to the beach and the town. poor appearance of the building with too much concreet in sight. poor decoration. unacceptable bathroom amenities for a 4 star hotel. no bathrobes or slipers, shampoo and conditioner in an open-top bowl not easy to use. breakfast buffet poor and exposed to flies. poor value for money. while my credit card details were submitted for confirming the reservation only and payment was supposed to be made during my stay, my credit card was charged with the full amount few days after the reservation.
convenient location but quiet and easy access to beach. This hotel is next to town Ouranopolis even it's not clear on the google map.
In a quiet location, has easy access to the beach. Staff are not very professional. Despite advertisement "all rooms have sea-view", in fact not all of them have.
The hotel is quite small and quiet - which suited us. The site overall is charming - nice garden areas, pretty villas, and a great swimming pool which was well maintained. This is not an international 4* hotel - more like 3*. There were petty issues (like a minibar which still had the previous occupant's personal food stuffs inside) which took two days of asking to be sorted out. The room furniture and bathrooms were OK, but the facilities were basic. Although prepared well enough, the restaurant menu and set-up was very basic..
Very nice and quite Island if you want to enjoy the beaches or take a walk on the island. It is difficult to find a decent restaurant on the Island. The dinner in the hotel is not worth the 25 euro.
Nice , quiet piece of the world, perfect place to relax. The management knows my opinion. This is remark only. The minimarket had been closed in many cases of our children´s visit to buy ice-cream , water etc.The location of minimarket is not very convenient for visitors.
excellent location with good atmosphere, decent services, fantastic nature and real relaxing setup. Maybe the beach equipment should be replaced
I didn't like the hotel at all. It is a very old, dirty, and ugly hotel. Apart from the location (not all rooms have view) everything else was a disaster. Cleaning services were every two days, there was no soap, the towels were dirty and the spiders were all over the place. I paid 80E for a room which was for 40E top. The breakfast which was included in the price was very poor, "dirty" and awful. The staff was not very polite and very slow motion!!!! Generally it's not a 4star hotel and it doesn't have value for money. Breakfast, cleaning, facilities, air-condition, furniture,tv,staff, towels, soaps, price. Total re-decoration!!!
Only the pool and the view. The room was not clean. Hair and stains in the sheets. The morning buffet was very poor and unacceptable in quality. In the bathroom they did not even have a glass for the toothbrush.
No fitness facility
It was really quiet and it is located at one of the best beaches of ammouliani. What I liked most was the bar that has view to the center of ammouliani, to Ouranoupolis and to Mount Athos. Also, the transfer to our room was done with a small golf car and that was quite convenient. The room had a great balcony from where someone could enjoy the sea view.
Location. The Beach. Quiet. Nice scenary. Swimming pool. Music. Personel's attitude and lack of experience. Although the dishes were tastefull the presentation of the plates was very poor. The parking didn't have tarmat and it was a bit hurtful for the car (lots of bumps...)
It was a nice and clean hotel with excellent service and impressive surroundings. The private beach was perfect for relaxation with nice warm waters and golden sand. The buffet menu was exceptional as well as the a la carte. The price was bit expensive compared to other 5 star hotels in the area.
I chose Twin Room with sea view. But it was Double Room without sea view. I complained it. The room was changed and it was better. But I didn't feel good. Staffs are very nice.
Pretty much everything! We've been staying with our little kid and my parents there. It was like a visit to an old friends, not a hotel.Like these guys were waitin' when we'll come and did there best for us to enjoy the vacation. there is nothing kichy in the place, but everythin' is really well planned, organized, cooked and cleaned. the best greek hotel I know, so far. thank you! Don't take coffee in the main bar! It literrary sucks!
The warm and kindly treatment from hotel’s staff. Large and clean sandy beach. Beautiful views from the hotel.
Excellent location, lovely beach (blue flag for 2010), very clean water, reasonable hotel facilities. Very overpriced food and drink make this, otherwise good hotel, relatively poor value for money. The decor is a little tired. Swimming pool on the small side, but made up for by an excellent beach.
Some things were very good during our stay at the Hotel but some not. This hotel is definitely not like a 5 star hotel. The furniture is old What is very surprising that you do not have a couple of bottles of still water in the room for every day S you need to buy it which is ridiculous considering the price you pay per night. .All 5 star hotel .Breakfast has a very poor choice, very boring , every day the same small choice Not very good, especially for kids. The good thing at this hotel is a very friendly staff and two wonderful kindergartners girls. But generally is too high price for what they offer.
We had a very nice and relaxt time. The food we liked. The staff and the service were on a very good level .We did enjoy it!
Nice environment and atomosphere, good friendly service some facilities are fairly old, could be renovated
Everything I have seen in Greece pales in comparison to Eagles Palace. In one word, superb.
the service, the relaxing atmosphere, the cleanliness, the surrounding area
Very polished and high quality service and amenities which resulted in a very relaxing environment. Good position beside the beach. One very minor issue was that as this hotel is clearly international standard I would have expected coffee/hot drinks facilties in the room but this was not available at the Danai beach. Also even if I used a more normal Euro/pound rate the cost of the spa treatments was very high.
The design of the rooms and main areas was excellent. There is a fine pool area which is well maintained.
Amazing design, very nice location. I will get back there!
staff at the restaurant and bar were very friendly and attentive. the staff at front desk were stand offish and sometimes rude. it was quite clear that both the staff and hotel were tired due to end of season. food at breakfast and evening buffet was very mediocre.
The Restaurant and its' staff It was refurbished but not enough
Wonderful hotel and brilliant holiday. Would highly recommend hiring a boat and exploring the islands in the bay and experiencing completely private beaches!
regardless the rainy weather, we fully enjoyed the great nature and the lovely surroundings of this hotel. very hospitable staff.we managed to fully relax and we plan to come back next May the interior in our room seemed to need update
The atmosphere was very relaxing, the breakfast very good. There shower had no hot water and it was not possible to use the sauna.
The whole experience was geared toward a relaxing holiday and the hotel did not disappoint on that front. Its not perfect, but the pro's far outweigh the cons Being vegetarian, the options in the restaurant were very limited and nowhere near the quality of the non-vegetarian menu.
The room, loft 3, but maybe the decking could do with painting Thought that the waiters/ waitresses looked untidy, if they wore aprons, or a uniform t shirt one would know who was staff.
Location, access to beach, good breakfast Room poorly appointed and maintained (broken tiles in bathroom, reading lamp shade missing), housekeeping slapdash, bar and restaurant overpriced, salt water pool, unwillingness to provide basic services eg cashier, had to ask three times to get newspaper ordered
