It's a very quiet hotel with good facilities.
great breakfast, peaceful location, very clean parking and a way to the lobby. you have to get out to get in to the restaurant (100m) - not good for a cold or rainy day. Kids have to be dressed to get out - not convenient. old fashioned door keys - difficult to hide when sightseeing. This hotel consists of several old buildings that have been rebuiled.
the service was very friendly and helpful, courtyard was beautiful (more like a resort than hotel), parking garage underneath hotel breakfast was overpriced, pool wasn't exciting but was warmer than the so-called hot tub.
very clear and comfortable
Close location to Dresden Easy access to parking Nice surrounding Quiet Size of the rooms comfortable Close location to Dresden Easy access to parking Nice surrounding Quiet Size of the rooms comfortable Easy access to parking Nice surrounding missed a chair in the bathroom, no luggage rack, no A/C, just the nails in the walls and no pictures, no bed covers,
The stay was comfortable, beautiful setting, excellent connection to downtown. If I have to go to Dresden again, I would stay there again.
The very pleasant and well trained staff. The location. The beautiful spa. The nice breakfast buffet. Many little details that are not always provided in an hotel of this category, like the bath robess (no slippers, unfortunately). A very pleasant hotel indeed. Sonic insulation is not very good. One hears noise from other rooms. The breakfast room tends to be crowded. The architecture is banal.
Swimming pool was very nice. Did not like that you had to walk outside or in the garage to get to the swimming pool, this would be very cold in the winter months. Breakfast was way over priced and not worth the money.
Unfortunately - Building work on the front of the hotel.
it was generaly good the matrasses were stiff
Room is great, in beautiful surrounding, and large enough to be comfortable with 2 small kids (4 and 5 YO). Best possible value for money. The kitchen is very helpful when travelling with children. Also, the concierge is knowledgeable and a big help. You pay for the room, and that's what you get. Anything else is extra (and not cheap) - wireless interenet, breakfast, swimming pool, etc.
From the desk to the restaurant the staff is absolutely superb. $18 dollars for breakfast is just too high !!!
very nice hotel, total silence!! a little far from center, but the tram is fast enough.
quiet, good staff breakfast a little bit expensive
everything was good no, just is not so near to dresdem but we can take the tram and go there in a few minutes without problem
The convenience to countryside and Dresden. The toilet fan did not work, small bottles of bath and shower gel and soap not supplied.Could have done with an additional pillow and tea making facilities.
My stay here was very special because of the kindness and warmth of the staff, the tranquil setting - and yet closeness to Dresden and the elegance of the main hotel. Being able to access all the facilities of the main hotel again added to the pleasurable experience of my stay.
Breakfast was very good. Also enjoyed swimming pool-big and clean. Staff also was very helpful. Nice view on the back of the hotel - vine yards :) In bathroom floor all the time was with water after taking shower even with closed doors and there were nothing with what to take this water so you have to use own towel that you can`t use after. Also a bit inconvenient is staying in last villa of the territory if it is raining. You are wet while getting from main building to your room. I could suggest to hotel to put some umbrellas for moving inside hotel territory in case of rain.
The hotel staff were excellent, being both pleasant and helpful. The location, close to a tram stop with easy access to all parts of Dresden and its environs, was ideal. Expensive breakfast!
The rooms were spacious and quiet. Parking was plentiful. It was hot in the room and no option of turning down the heating.
The room was adequate. The hotel is close to the historical Altstadt and a fantastic shopping area. Driving to the hotel was frustrating. It wasn't easy to find, even with GPS. There are two elevators so long waits in the morning to get to breakfast or to check out. Staff speak very little English. The room
The location was perfect
Excellent location, excellent facilities, high class environment, very good restaurant, very friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness No free internet
this was my 2nd stay and the hotel, location and service is immaculate.
All of the above Yes, was unimpressed with the use of the tv/film remote control unit. Worst i've come across in a long time. Also thought the film selection was very limited and there shoud have been an all inclusive internet, film rate.
Excellent location, helpful stakk, magnificant building. No negatives, one of the best hotels ever.
Attention to detail. Nothing to comment.
Exellent location, luxury, very good swimming pool. We enjoy visiting the city and in the same time relaxing at the hotel.
It was so totally elegant and directly across the street from the Zwinger. The breakfast was gorgeous, very elaborate and delicious.
The location. Their breakfast. I think that the cost of services, such as parking and internet are very expensive, as compared with Berlin
Good service, kindly staff and good location. Our family enjoyed well to stay this hotel. Our kids also enjoyed skating at hotel's garden. It was very nice for them.
Awesome location in the city center next to Zwinger and Dresden Castle. Great bar. Poor locations of outlets in rooms. For older people difficult light switch system/technology. Expensive breakfast buffet. Front desk staff could be more helpful with explaining things, e.g. complicated German parking garage system, to foreign guests. Expected more from a luxury hotel.
The location to historic buildings.Clean comfortable and a great place and value for the price. There wasn't anything I disliked about the Westin Bellevue Dresden.
comfortable room, clean, luxurious bathroom. It is a 5 star hotel and lives up to the expectations internet connection is not complementary
Nice room with a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast at 19 euros each. The Canaletto Room (dining) has become much like any other pretentious "fine dining" facility in hotels throughout the world, with uncoordinated service. It's a shame, since the hotel used to have beautifully prepared regional cuisine with smooth, professional service. Most of the hotel staff were helpful, but there was a person, position unknown, seated at a desk in the lobby--who helped nothing, simply got in the way (interrupting guest transactions for her own purposes).
Very big bed.
The comfortable and clean room with a wonderful view to the river and the skillful and kind staff Everything was perfect
The friendliness of the staff, and also its situation, so near the centre of Dresden, yet peaceful and quiet.
Good location - city center easily reachable by foot; attended a conference, which was very well and professional cared for by the hotel; comparatively large rooms. Definitely would recommend it.
The breakfast was fantastic! The fact that smoking is allowed in all public places in the hotel.
the spa/wellness area
Location on the banks of Elbe, with nice gardens, at a pleasant short walk to the major atracctions of the city. This is a five stars but the mini-bar is not a frigobar, it is part of the closet lined with mirrors, and there isn´t ice-maker machine outside the room. I asked for a double room and receive a twin, with two narrow separated beds fixed to the wall.
The room was large, clean, and very accommodating for our family of six. Breakfast was outstanding, as well as overall service.
The apartment size we had was great. Was able to sleep 8 people and had a kitchen available. Breakfast was a good quality, and an easy tram ride into the city of Dresden
Nice location, helpful and kind staff, very good breakfast and clean rooms. While I had booked a parking space, that wasn't available. The free spots were limited and I had to park in a 3h limit parking zone and finally I got a parking ticket. But the Hotel staff recognized their fault and they reimbursed the parking ticket and the prepaid parking.
The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfasts bounteous, the best I have had on this trip. An excellent hotel.
We had two apartments which were very spacious, we really liked having two bathrooms in one apartment and the kitchen in the other. It worked out well for us since we were traveling as two separate families. Location to the Metro was great since we were traveling into Dresden for the Christmas Market. It was very loud due to the restaruant below our apartment and people staying above us that ran up and down the stairs for quite some time.
Convenient location in quiet leafy suburb of Dresden. Close to public tranmport shops and restaurants. Good breakfast An over priced Bed and Breakfast with delusions of grandeur. Our room was not serviced during our entire 3 day stay. To add insult to injury they tried to over charge us. No staff on the premises after breakfast, only available by phone.
Needs better curtains.
Quiet, yet very close to tram to Dresden and about 10 minutes walk to railway station to Dresden or Leipzig and steam narrow gauge railway.Clean, comfortable, very good breakfast, good value for money.
Well, somebody was complaining about staff not speaking English. I dont agree: Mrs. Sabine speaks English and well enough to be very well understood. The hotel is lovely. Is situated in a very peaceful area of Radebeul, quite close to Dresden and Meissen (of course, if you have a car, I don't know the public transport), is very clean and beautifully decorated with old style furniture. The parking space is large enough to accomodate quite a few guests, the breakfast was very diversified and tasty. The garden is splendid, too bad we've been there at the begining of December. Rooms are large and absolutely spotless with a very well suplied bathroom. I loved the attention we've got from the owner. It was an absolutely nice stay. Maybe there should be some English speaking channels on TV, but this is a "problem" common to Germany and Austria and, in the end, we came to see Dresden.
The Inn Keeper, Sabine, was fastastic. She speaks some English but does help to know some German, but not essential Nothing
The hospitality of the staff No
Well welcomed hotel people. Scale of room and equipments so value to stay. Quiet area and can feel old time of surroundings. Many repeater means comfortable of something. Not near to the city and may hardly to find without navigation system. But it is not a much problem.
Very nice landlady, very clean room and very good breakfast. No English speaking staff.
Our room was fabulous & the staff were very helpful.
the breakfest and the chocolate for child The bed is not comfortable.
The location, amenities, staff, breakfast...all wonderful. Truly a 5 star hotel. No. But I wish we could have taken the hotel with us on our journey!
Quiet, comfort, situation, restaurant, facilities.
staff was excelent, and the room very comfortable and clean
the stuff and the place
Best hotel we have ever stayed at. Quality room and service.
everything was ok see above
Room was spacious and very nice. Breakfast was expensive.
Quality fittings and luxurious room though not generous in size. Very good discount through booking.com meant it was good value. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Superb location for the centre of Dresden. Walking distance of the major sites and shops. Breakfast was expensive and the staff were overloaded. The service was poor and there was no explanation of the 3 tier pricing structure. The food was good quality but in very small quantities. The hot food selection was limited.
Loved The Breakfast, The fact you could open a window was wonderful. Loved that an actual person made the wake up call. Beautiful front desk people. Everyone had a smile and very helpful The Gym was so-so and I didn't like that they charged for parking or you had to park on the street.
Good hotel stuff, nice clean and fresh hotel. Few kilometers from city center fully compensated by tram, which stopping just in front of hotel. Alternatively - walking to center takes around 30 minutes and can be quite interesting as you passing quite nice Neustadt district. I would say 14 euro for breakfast little bit too much, but "c'est la vie" Alternative option is McDonald 30 meters from hotel: )
Location of the hotel is a little out of the way, but with the tram system just a few blocks away, you can get to anyplace in the city easily and very inexpensive. Lack of any places of interest in the immediate area.
Hotel's design, state of the facilities, quiet air conditioner, size of the room, helpful receptionist (male). 1.The receptionist's (female) pretentious, "posher than the Queen" attitude. 2.Extortionate price of the parking under the hotel (given that the hotel is not even in the center of the city and parking on the adjacent street is free). 3.Extortionate price of the breakfast (given that the children have to pay as well). 4.Consumable items on the table in the room turned out to be chargeable, pulled out of the minibar to tempt guests. Bad practice for a 4-star hotel. NH Geldrop (in which I stayed later) was much better in that matter, as they at least had teabags and a kettle as a courtesy.
the room was of a good standard, plenty of space and excellent bathroom. the room was warm the air-conditioning was not good.
We were travelling with a baby and the hotel supplied a real cot with bedding and a childrens wash kit for no extra charge, which was nice as were used to travels cots and a blanket if were lucky. Plus the hotel had aircon which was a blessing as it was nearly 40 degrees outside!
Very efficiently run, breakfast service (quick clearing of tables etc) good, staff friendly Location not so good, tram stop not near enough! (not your fault), Worst thing was the smell of stale food that greeted us on arrival in the evening.
Nice room The airco did not work, it was 35 degrees in the room. They new there were problems but still gave us the room. Reception did not speak English on the phone, in person they did not believe me but came to check and then admitted it and we had to change rooms at 23:30. No upgrade, no apolgies.
All the times I have stayed in this hotel, the staff wasn't particularly friendly, I don't like to stay in a hotel where I'm someone to give the cold shoulder to... I also consider the parking and the internet available too expensive. As the internet is such a necessary resource right nowadays, it's about time to have it for free in the hotels.
air conditioning did not work; 10 EURO parking fee was unreasonable with ample unrestricted parking in front of the hotel; swimming pool would be nice addition to sauna.
The room was very spacious. The lounging chair in the room was a good touch. The curtain in the room was ridiculously thin. I was waken by sunlight at 6.30am every morning. The room didn't have any written hotel information, i.e. restaurant, gym etc
Outstanding, we'll be staying at QF again. Everything was excellent.
The best Hotel I have been on for long time. all was perfect.
The very big size of the room (standard room), the bathroom much nicer than on the pictures, the overal quality and comfort of the room. Breakfast was OK and included. The staff was helpful always. The room is very nice, but there are no other services/facilities that you would expect from a 5 star hotel: lobby, pool, sauna, spa....despite that I still recommend the hotel
The rooms are very nice. Spacious, clean, good looking. Bed was terrific. Very comfortable. I did an online advance check in and asked for a high floor. My confirmation email said I was confirmed on the 6th floor. When I arrived and checked in they gave me room 202 on the second floor. I don't know why my confirmed request was not honored.
Very nice and big rooms (had room no. 105), very comfortable beds, reasonably sized bathroom (bathtub and shower are separately), breakfast room on the 6th floor, possibility to sit outside, breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Great location, right next to the Gedaechtniskirche, easy walk to the train station (about 10 to 15 mins). n/a
clean and nice room, friendly staff, great location...
Staff was very responsive to needs Internet use is not for free...we assumed it was...should list internet access rates!
The location is exellent and the hotel itself was modern and clean, with all what you need. Very friendly staff. No place to eat or possibility for room service late in the evening.
The design of the hotel, rooms perfectly clean, wonderful bathroom with L´Occitane cosmetics, parking, location of the hotel. Everything was just perfect.
the female reception staff very helpful breakfast veru good room 312 beautifull thanks to upgrade the bar
Excellent hotel in the very heart of a beutiful city
the accomodations were new and modern. clean. great tourist location. a little pricey
Eveything was very nice. Good quality. Good location for sightseeing. I used pool and sauna. Sauna should be free of charge.
This is an excellent hotel from the point of view of Price, comfort of accomodation, and location right in the middle of several key cultural sites in Dresden. One of the best hotels I have stayed in over the past few years . I virtually lived in Hotels for years. . Nothing
The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. The room was spic and span and very comfortable.
The location, in the heart of Altstadt, is great once you find it. Very hard to find by car. Also it is brand new. Very good staff at the front desk. Very unfriendly staff at the executive lounge. First they denied me entrance. Greedy. The pay toilet in the hotel lobby is terrible. Very sad. It should be free of charge to all, not just hotel guests. The attendant looks at people who do not pay with anger! I paid alot of money, but I did not have an enjoyable stay.
Location (Central) No
We like it's location but everything else about the hotel was average. If you are on the street side by the restaurants it is very noisey at night time
Everything was excellent. The room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast was of high quality and we really enjoyed the pool and fitness centre. Nothing
Breakfast is great and room is good size for couple. location allows walk to all location. Room assigned was a block from elevators.
The location is perfect for visiting Dresden, and the hotel is very good
location was fantastic for sights, eating out and parking the pool area was very nice and presented however it could of had a slightly larger wellnes area, ie gym, dip pools for the sauna's and a masseur permanatly on site. after all it is listed as a 5 star
We loved the location, the staff and the high quality of everything associated with it. One of the best hotels we've been in! Nothing - it enhanced our stay in Dresden.
The location is quite good. From time to time the service was not up to standard, eg. I wasn't offered any assistance with my luggage, the restaurant closed at 10pm on Sunday night.
it is placed in the center of the city
Spa, lobby, Webers restaurant, room, staff, location Everything was beautifull
Ms. Romy Pohlink went out of her way to get us last minute tickets to the Green Vault exhibit. She was professional and wonderful to work with. Also, the location of the hotel was excellent.
I liked the gifts left in the room for the children (bath set for my baby and lego for my 5 year old). I loved the jacuzzi bath and the indoor pool. Nothing.
dinner was very nice over priced breakfast
The pool was warm and very clean. The location is optimal, and the staff were very accomodating. The food in the restarurant was delicious, and the free wireless internet worked great. We had a great stay. None - everything was top-notch.
It was a comfortable stay thanks
