Pros. Modern hotel
Cons. Climate control hard to adjust.
Pros. Pet friendly, good location, parking included.
Cons. Lots of small things like broken light above the sink, stains on the headboard combined with noise from the street below and drunken guests in the hallways left me very disappointed with my stay. In the morning, there was trash and beer bottle caps littered in the halls and elevators and someone had taken apart part of the ground level automatic door. I understand this hotel borders the NC State campus, but it seems like students possibly live here. There was some sort of formal dance with dozens of college aged kids all over the place, which was very inconvenient. Despite the great location and relatively new construction, I sincerely doubt I will ever spend money to stay here again.
Pros. I always have a great stay at Aloft. The staff there is so friendly, they really go above and beyond to meet my needs. I appreciate them!
Pros. Clean lines. Scandinavian feel.
Cons. Room AC blows directly on bed, so you are either cold or hot. This is room 202. Also, needs a chair in the corner. Would be nice if the pool where open and if the gym had a stationary bike. Other than that, the hotel is fantastic.
