Pros: Fantastic place to stay in Ranohira, I highly recommend to stay here and have a relaxing time after a long road or adventure in the national parks. The staff, the hotel director are all really nice and kind. During our stay, we accidentally broke a window and how they handled the whole situation, it was excellent! (So sorry again for that window...) The meals are also really good and delicious, the waiters and waitresses are very nice; the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Absolutely cozy and really, the perfect location to stay in Ranohira.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Great food. SPA SERVICES AND SETTING WERE WONDERFUL!
Cons: Need room service...especially morning coffee!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great quality and sized rooms. The pool was nice and the lounging areas. Staff were very friendly and always on hand. The snacks you are given with your drinks are fantastic.
Cons: I was incredibly upset by our check in experience. I contacted the hotel to ask for a room for our driver (provided for free as they do in many hotels in Madagascar). They confirmed this prior to my booking but upon check in my driver came to me and said he needed to drive back into town (30minutes each way) to find somewhere to stay. We watched and found that no other drivers appeared to have this (not sure why he was picked out) but he was told they had no rooms available. I found my correspondence with the hotel and asked him to go and ask again. They managed to find him a room (and several others after him) and so it was a complete lie. It may be because he wasn't part of a large tour company, I am not sure, but my initial opinion on the hotel had been set low. The dinner menu was very small (3 choices for starter, dinner, dessert). We did not like much of it but the waiter failed to mention (after much deliberation) that we did not have to order the full set menu. For this reason we paid for food we did not eat which was a waste. Its slightly on the high price. There was always a shortage of sunbeds (only 8 for the hotel), the rest were chairs (around 10) and beanbags for backup.

Pros: Location
Cons: No intercom or phone to Reception or Resturent
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room with a wonderful view. Nice bar and restaurant. The architecture is blending with the surrounding landscape: good job!
Cons: The swimming pool was too cold to enjoy, unless the day temperature was hot. the price of the rooms is quite high: I could have stayed in the next door 'la Reine'(4*) for the same price (due to my genius discount). 100€/night without breakfast is rather expensive in Madagascar for 3*.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good standard with all sorts of facilities. Reasonably apartment-like rooms. Well kept garden & surroundings, friendly and helpful staff and offered credit card payment. Good internet. Beautiful sunrise!
Cons: Not very personal - a rather large facility. No fridges in room, not possible to adjust room temperature. Food was good but nothing special. Difficult to take a walk in the surroundings - sandy roads that do not invite to a walk. Maybe create some paths?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet surroundings and spacious garden
Cons: It was all great except the food for my vegan daughter was a little uninteresting
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: The food and the service at the restaurant Massages were okay, not wonderful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel I ever stayed in of the 30 countries I visited! Everything was just superb: rooms, restaraunt, good food, big and beautiful territory, swimming pool, the landscape around. Lots of birds on the territory of the hotel. The staff and the owners of the hotel were very helpful! They organized early morning excursions to Zombitse Vohibasa NP and Isalo NP and also they found very good english speaking birdwatching guides for me. Many thanks for this once again! Also many hiking trails in the beautiful mountains just otside the hotel territory. This is how the best hotel must look like! Highly recommended!!!
Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: The rooms were clean and comfy. Nice bathrooms. Most of the staff was very polite and keen to help. They treated our driver well, which was most appreciated.
Cons: The food was definitely not the best. Rather small portions, blend, not representative of the tasteful Malagasy cuisine. We ate in town the second day and it was much better. The bathroom looked modern but there was no water when we arrived. It was fixed the next day.
