We just stopped to sleep on way to Keukenhof Gardens, it was adequate for our needs. No elevator ...my 80 year old mother-in-law was with and our room was on top floor. She had a bit of problem getting up stairs.
Staff were so friendly and the meals excellent.
The quality of the staff and food served No
Food was excellent in the restaurant and and part of the restaurant for smokers. Hotel was quiet also. Parking was near to our room. There was minibar (fridge). This hotel accepts animals. Located near motorways. They didn't speek English (only a little bit in restaurant; one waitress). They didn't accept any credit cards or any cards. You have to go to the center and withdraw cash. It was strange because they have "visa" sign and others too. Maybe their machine didn't operate. In room wasn't shampoo; only soap for hands.
Breakfast was very good, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff. No
Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is nice, and coffee is excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast used to be included and now the hotel charges for it. Given that the hotel is already a little pricey for what it is, this is a definite "con."
The only good thing I can say was the location. The room was small and horrible - the lights outside were bright and the curtains were the worst I have endured in 100's of business trips made. Being lead to my room by a gay person that offered his sexual advances was not the best start to the stay in this hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff was very nice and accomodating, rooms were extremely clean and bed was very comfortable The hotel has poor sound insulation and I was woken up by the noise of the next room at 5:30 am
I was at a cat show with my cat in dinslaken the quality of the bed was poor for me , to soft.in germany they don't know good pillows :( ( much to soft )
Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable
The people who work there are wonderful. The Cafe connected and owner by the hotel is excellent and convenient. Free parking and free internet are perfect! Very clean and all updated recently. Just a nice place to rest peacefully. No complaints. It would be nice if there was a carpet or a door mat to the entrance to the room as the floors are all tile and it would stop from bringing in dirt from shoes into the room.
Very friendly customer service and tidy rooms. Room too small and there was no hot breakfast.
The hotel was very basic and bearing in mind it is advertised as a newly refurbished hotel - it was not what I expected at all. Ideal if you just want somewhere to rest your head for a few hours but thats about it. The room was clean enough but the bed was very uncomfortable and there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which, after a long drive always come in handy.
The freindly staff the food , breakfast, evening meals, easy access to motorways, quiet at night. no
Good food, good service, nice atmosphere
It is an interesting old style building. I enjoyed it.
The old fashion building We had a 2 persons bedroom on het top of the building. In a case of emergency there was no plan of escape. I think that in Hotels there must be just in sight a board of that plan in every room and hall.
Very friendly staff, despite delayed arrival, and very good standard of catering, and general attentiveness Breakfast buffet selection could have been wider, with choice of fruit juices, and with plain as well as flavoured yoghurts
helpful staff relaxing location & atmosphere
it was quirky but lovely and a good breakfast and a pub to eat an evening meal in at a reasonable price. The breakfast was quite classy really everything was fine and at reception they spoke English which was a great help
The history of the hotel. and the staff are outstanding Smoking, even in the breakfast room
Incredible ambiance. Being built in 1914, there were a lot of architectural styles used that reminded me of the Titanic. The rooms felt much like ship staterooms. Very cool. Additionally, the fact that it had been visited by Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson as well as being used by the US Army as an HQ in WWII and being visited by Churchill, Montgomery, Bradley and Eisenhower in 1945 just really iced the cake for me! Breakfast Buffet was a little bumpy.
Helpful staff, excellent dinner, nice bar, character of buidling and surroundings
The hotel was close by to where I needed to be the following day, and convenient for the local shops and restaurants. The room was cold, and although there was a thermostat on the wall, it made no difference when I turned it up to max. The floor was tiled, which made my feet even colder. I had to wear a sweatshirt in bed to keep warm.
