Roaches everywhere. Dirty sheets. Bad smell. Dirty bathroom.
Clean rooms. Staff is rude. Housekeeping just walks right in your room without waiting for an answer. They don't acknowledge your late check-outs when you request them.
Likes it's location with respect to I-95 and Savannah, 15 miles, and it's under $50 price tag. And we weren't expecting much considering the cost. But we did expect to be able to control the hot water - could not. Expected a desk clerk who could take online reservations - could not as that relied on a fax machine she could not operate. Expected clean sheets - they were, but tattered. Sleeping for a few hours and driving on then stay here. Nice overnight for family? Pay $10 more and take the next exit.
Satisfactory stay for the price. We were only there for the sleep. Expect noisy vacationers during peak season. The shower water temperature is tricky.
Courteous staff & friendly atmosphere Room key did not work for many hours due to low battery
You get what you pay for most of the time in life. I got what I payed for. It's an old hotel. Sometimes you can't get clean what is old, like carpet or the smell. There were a few bugs in the room, at least the ones I saw.
The staff was great! The room seemed clean. I accidentally booked a smoking room, but the room didn't smell as awful as I would have anticipated. I had to get in the shower with my two year old because the plug for the bath wouldn't work. My sons socks were filthy from the floor being dirty.
The night attendant I spoke to over the phone was very helpful and took care of business. For 89 dollars a night for 1 king size bed isn't very bad. However, when the bed sheets and comforter have stains that look and smell like 5 people have had sex on it right before you arrive it's a problem. I was disgusted by this and will not return to this Super 8 motel.
The staff were rude, there was another person's hair left in the shower, and the overall atmosphere was bad and felt unsafe.
Easy access to Savannah, direct route from the hotel. This is the best thing I can say about this place. Even the discounted travel website price I paid was too much for this place. Travel website classed it at three stars, but two is being generous. Bathroom dirty, tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Dirt build up in the corners, cracks and crevices. Toilet loose and wobbly. Breakfast is a joke. Store bought 2-3 day old pastries, one choice of cereal, no coffee, fridge with milk and OJ doesn't even keep it cool much less cold. No staff even acknowledged me when turning in my key because they never came to the desk. With a shameful "free breakfast" like that... I wouldn't want to show my face either.
This was the most horrible experience of my life. Room was not prepared, even though we arrive at 9 pm. Filth everywhere. Staff was rude. Made racial comments about the "white" couple in the room before us (and we are white). Covered up apparent blood stains on the pillows with cases. Then we found similar stains on the sheets. My girlfriend was accosted by a drunk man at the door. I had to threaten police to get him to leave (but wanted to do much worse to him). Couldn't stay and the manager slammed and locked a door in my face and told me she had cameras and I was making up my complaints. We left and found a clean, comfortable room down the road. Horrible! I'll never trust your ratings and staged pictures again!
The Hotel was really clean and nice. Only complaint, it's not in the best area of town, a bar in front of the hotel was a little louder than I would have liked it.
Liked the reasonable rate for the area. The room renovations were positive especially the flooring. Room was clean and comfortable. Only a couple of things: The towels were a little small for adults. I understand keeping cost down but a hair dryer in the room would of been real nice.
nothing dirty, noisy, smelly
