The hotel is adjacent to the Newly renovated and expanded Historic Riverside Convention Center, the Historic Mission Inn and the Historic Fox Performing Arts Center. The hotel is within walking distance to the Pedestrian Mall filled with antique specialty shops and over 50 eateries.
Only good thing is the proximity to downtown. We were woken up at 6 a.m by a fire alarm they couldn't turn off for over 30 minutes on my boyfriend birthdat (reason for the stay). After leaving the room for the day and coming back at 6 p.m we noticed the house keepers never even came. When we called the front desk to let thme know the situation wasn't addressed nor did they offer a solution. Plus we paid 24 dollars a night for self parking. Terrible time and accommodations at the Hyatt. Such a shame we will not be returning to this hotel.
Room layout We were upgraded Spacious room
Pillow top bed that I could not get into. Glasses with the ice bucket were not wrapped at all and water spotted
I've stayed here several times now and always enjoy my stay.
I was surprised and disappointed to discover that they started charging for overnight parking. I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't allow someone to park there for free.
The hotel was generally clean in common areas and the room itself. Not luxurious, but very functional.
We booked 2 queen beds and unapologetically were told only a single King was a available. I would have booked a different hotel and skipped the Hyatt. I got barely an apology and had a very unpleasent night in a room not suitable for my family.
The room was clean and spacious. The location was convenient.
The staff were really friendly.
We ordered food from the restaurant downstairs and it was the most disgusting food hours can eat.
