The Bollo Apartments were convenient and close to all shopping and restaurants. We found the location to be excellent, close to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Piazza Campo De' Fiori. The bus no 64 was just around the corner and we could hop on to get to Vatican city at one end and towards the bus and train terminal at the other end. We walked to the Trevi fountain and Colosseum. As we were a family of 5, there was enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate and the 3 bathrooms were very convenient. We were given a call to confirm we were arriving that day, which was a pleasant surprise as we had traveled throughout Europe for 5 weeks and no one else had confirmed our accommodation.
Even thought there were three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the kitchen was tiny and there was nowhere to sit altogether to eat even if we had wanted to cook in the apartment. We had to stand to have breakfast. The microwave didn't seem to work and there was no instruction book anyway. There wasn't enough cups for us all to have coffee or tea and no toaster for morning. Soap holder in shower would have been good. A bit hard to find even with GPS and car.
Very good location a few steps from main visitors places. The apps. offers solid and personal space accomodation. Not so luxury, but satisfying. It depend what who expect. Good for personal preparation of breakfest and go away to the city. Don´t expect nice place with the house, no view, but the location is safe and has got a Roma´s atmosphere.
It is not easy to find the back-street where the house it, but the people from the markets on Piazza knows where it is.
Excellant location, decor was nice, rooms fairly basic but with the location you wouldnt want to stay in the appartments for to long anyway
The arrangement of getting in your room is really poor, you have to give them your eta, which we did, when we arraved we were greeted with a locked front door, after banging on there and ringing the number on the door (which was the fax machiene inside) a resident let us in, an told us there was another number to ring, when we rang we were greeted by a relative of the owner who didnt speek english,we rang back 20mins later and got told someone would be with us in half hour, when he finally arrived, our booking was double booked and we had to change rooms after the1st night. When we changed rooms the following day our bags had been left locked in the 1st room and we were unable to get anything from there, but everything was great after that
There were two large bedrooms and two bathrooms and a small kitchen.
When we arrived, our room was not available so we were put in a triple room for one night and then had to move the next day.
Apartment well located, although difficult to find initially. Staff were helpful when required.
We chose this apartment as we were hoping to self cater, as we were travelling with a small child. The kitchen, however, was inadequately equiped with cutlery, crockery and pots/pans, and the apartment felt cramped as there was no common living area, as this was being used as a bedroom. These apartments are not suitable for those travelling with children.
Quiet, pleasant and friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere and very close to all amenities.
The apartment was very modern and bright, it was very cleverely designed. the location was central.
Major drawback no lift and it was afew floors up, ok if travelling light. The enterance was shabby and off putting but once inside the apartment it was another world. Its ideal for family
Great location, reasonably priced.
Directions listed for the hotel are not clear, had difficulty finding it.
The cleaner didn't finish cleaning our room until 17.30 which meant we couldn't get into our room until late. We informed the management but nothing was done about this.
the room was spacious, the staff were helpful - they weren't fastidious about the stipulated check-in and check-out times.
ask for rooms above the ground floor. because the main door at the lobby slams shut, we're awaken at dawn everyday when people starts to leave the apartment. also, the room we had (no. 1) had no windows.
