It is an oasis in the desert. It is a old farmhouse with a big and nice garden/park, unfortunately located in the middle of a ugly industrial area. The building has been well refurbished and is quite nice, although some solutions are very cheap (i.e. furniture...) and give the impression of poor quality. However the rooms were ample, the comfort was good, cleaning was ok, breakfast was good for southern Italy (ample choice of sweets) but maybe poor for north european standards (no savoury dishes). And the incredible price help to forget the few minor problems.
There is a certain lack of care and minor maintenance (curtains needs washing, wardrobe lock needs repair, alley has potholes...). All lamp bulbs are in (very)cool white hue and the lighting is quite bad. There is ample internal parking space but is not organised and there is construction material left everywhere. It is a pity since all problems could be fixed by a low amount of money. Car needed since the neigborhood is ugly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - helping us to understand how to best get around and what the public transport options are. Room was clean and refreshed daily. Breakfast was great. Would stay again if i visit Rome in the future.
The room would have benefited from a softer night time lighting option (options were big light or the bed light which we found to be too bright and almost as bright as the main lights) - a small thing really as the stay was very nice. At the time of our stay, the main highway near the hotel was undergoing construction work with only a few crossing sections - not the hotels fault at all, but part of our overall experience none the less.
The room is clean and staff are friendly. The sweet italian breakfast is so good. The place is good for relaxing because of it’s not crowded and it is surrounded with plants and flowers.
The place is good if you have car however if you commute using the train it was so difficult. You have to walk so far from the bus stop going to the hotel.
Very kind and helpful staff. Nice and relaxing location.
The location is in a quite zone but industrial area. So people for work in that area is excellent as you don’t have to pass through the crazy traffic of Rome.
Coffee machine was not working but the people serving the breakfast are very kind and make all effort to comfort the guest. So will say this should not be a big point but a minor one.
